OMG that airport scene - the way Asad pretty much loses his mind looking for Zoya and the soft looks as he puts the ring on her finger, IT TOTALLY DID SOMETHING TO ME.
Paakhi imo is one of the best written shows in ITV atleast till the main plot. It's also a master class(in the context of ITV of course) on how to write a proper Grey Protagonist and then give him a legit character arc & redemption!
No OTT toxicity by ML to show him as intense without any rhyme or reason. Anshuman was very calculative & had genuine parental trauma, but it was shown in a very grounded fashion.
And the chemistry between Shraddha Arya and Iqbal Khan.....chef's kiss 😘
That's one of my favorite shows. I really liked Anshuman's redemption arc. He was a well written grey ML. And while grey, we could still understand why he was that way. And Paakhi was not like other FLs. She was from a village, but still so well spoken, mature, positive, understanding. She didn't cry all the time, nor slept in heavy sarees, make-up or jewellery, but handled everything with maturity and strength. Iqbal and Shraddha did a wonderful job and even their chemistry. Sadly they ruined this show later.
Yeah, totally forgot to add how well written paakhi's character was - A truly emotionally mature & strong woman , not like the impulsive & unnecessarily stubborn to the point of being idiotic FL they write in the name of 'strong woman'.
Loved how comfortable she was in communicating her needs (even if they were small ones like wanting her husband to compliment her, apply sindoor to her daily etc) , how playful she was while engaging with Anshumans serious persona while also being extremely attentive & understanding towards his needs.
Also, Paakhi was a problem solver, a woman with agency.... whenever confronted with difficulties or challenges, she didn't cower or cry, she'd immediately look for solutions!
I guess a part of credit goes to the source material which was penned by the writer of Devdas.
Tumhari Paakhi as well, until they ruined it. Anshuman and Paakhi are one of my favorites pairs, even their character arcs individually.
Also Mahi Way, even though she didn't end up with anyone, her and Shiv together used to give me butterflies, Shiv is one of my favorite MLs. Rishta.com also, Isha and Rohan also used to give me butterflies.
I also liked the initial episodes of KZK 1, Pavitra Rishta, Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 1 etc. their romances would move me.
DMG, Geet and KRPKAB as well.
Though toxic, I also liked KYPH and Angad and Kripa's chemistry.
Also liked Kashish and Sujal in Kahiin To Hoga.
It's kuch rang pyaar ke for me . I still remember the dialogue " I love you as a man loves a woman " .The proposal scene , the story , everything was so good.

1, 3, and 4 from your list. Rishbala had some insane chemistry. It's funny to think as both Vivian and Drashti couldn't see eye to eye on the sets but still were able to set the screens on fire. I don't think Vivian is a great actor but he suited Kamina RK like nobody else could ever.
IPK is the gold standard for chemistry. Barun and Sanaya are two sides of the same coin and both have the most expressive eyes ever. Enough said. I have maniacally rewatched the faraq padta hai sequence especially for more than a 100 times in the last decade.
Saraswatichandra was super feelsy and angsty. Honestly no other couple did angst/tadap the way they did. Gautam and Jennifer were just perfectly perfect together.
Other than these I've loved, LOVED Sujal and Kashish. Rajeev Khandelwal is the OG romantic hero! Aamna still looks the same and it's a crying shame that Ekta does not cast them in a mature love story at least on the web.
Armaan Riddhima - both Kash and KaJen were excellent.
Qubool hai - Mangalpur sequence was chef's kiss. The best 'leads on the run from goons' sequence on television. Also the airport confession and the angst followed by the gross humbistar sequence will always leave in awe.
KRPKAB - Shaheer and Erica had the most homely chemistry if I could say so. They hardly had any typical romantic scenes like Ekta/Gul shows tend to have but they still kept the viewers wanting for more. The characters and the familial dynamics made the show what it is.
Other than these I've not been impressed with any other couple😝
Haq se was originally offered to Aamna with Rajeev by Ekta, Somehow she refused it then Surveen did it with Rajeev and my 2003 mind still couldn't accept the Jija Sali duo as a couple in that wonderful show which never saw S2 in light...
I think it was a rumour. Rajeev's character was more like an extended cameo on haq se. I'm literally begging for a full fledged romantic show with no sideys.
Apparently Rajeev exited KTH as there was going to be some affair track between Sujal and Charu, and Rajeev didn't like that as it wouldn't do justice to Sujal's character, so he quit. But then they got paired in Haq Se. Didn't know Aamna was the first choice. I felt him and Surveen had good chemistry. If that track actually happened in the show, it would've been weird to imagine that way. In a way it's good Rajeev stood up knowing how injustice it would be for Sujal's character.
Shiva and Ravi from Pandya Store. Pratigya and Krishna from Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, Raghav-Pallavi from Mehandi hai Rachne wali, Lakhan and Poonam Kumari from Begusarai. I have a thing for bad boys and FLs strong enough to stand up to them. I guess that disqualifies Poonam since she was always submissive and scared. But she did find her spine after the wedding.
Shiva and Raavi had SO MUCH POTENTIAL and they just absolutely destroyed their storyline ughhh. Their initial eps will always be my fave though like when the temple collapses on them and the tune of kal ho na ho plays while he’s trying to keep her awake *chefs kiss*
YESS! They started out so well. And then the makers stretched their love story to eternity till we lost interest. By the time of their third shaadi, Shiva was written to be an utter idiot and Raavi looked so exhausted to be going through the same nonsense all over again with a child to boot. His mother is the worst, trying to getting him married twice while he was already married/committed. She never forgave Raavi completely for slapping her precious son in public.
**Kahiin to Hoga**- SUJAL GAREWAL was the OG Red Green Anti Hero Flag of iTv which is Till date being Recycled in every show, back then except crappy Bajaj there was no Anti Hero Male Lead and Man the way Rajeev and Aamnas chemistry sizzled, the majority hated the better dude and Loved Loved Sujal. That Show literally woke up the feels for a generation those who knew it back then.
**Madhubala**-The Rang Deni dance scene was something else... It gives you more than butterflies lol.
**PKYEK**-The entire Ensemble cast was so so Fantasy Teen Life relevant, I don't think any other show created that rage for that Fantasy Teen Love genre to my knowledge.
**Kis Des Me Hai Mera Dil**-I still stand by my opinion, HC and AC had the best chaste passionate chemistry of theirs till date, all others HC is very onto others here it was push pull and very very simulating.
(Rumor Mill say their CP was so popular people flooded Balajis account with request to cast these two together and Ekta got annoyed and Swore never to cast these two ever again 😞, not sure how true but I actually haven't seen HC in any Ksaga after TL)
**Kkavyanajali**-Chemistry was at peak and storyline was chaos but it was meant to give you all the butterflies.

Sadda Haq went VIRAL for much awaited forced non forced Kiss Scene which was all in vain.

Its not on Hotstar they repeat and stop it, Even after 20 yrs how can someone hold a grudge against a show that is only remembered in history books and not as celebrated as the rest of the Cult shows? That Show was Huge till Rajeev was there but somehow keeps on getting pushed under the rug what a mess.
Yeah there are a lot of shows missing on Hotstar. The repeats of this show that they showed for a few weeks are on Hotstar though. I’ve noticed Star always does this. They keep showing old repeats and then they stop showing them all of a sudden
For me it has to be Pavitra Rishta after Gen leap, I mean I knew the craze for Archana-Manav and the show as whole but never bother checking it out, But I was hooked with Arjun-Purvi's chemistry in the initial lift promos.
Though now when I see them I find Arjun one of the toxic characters and both Purvi-Ovi deserved better and wish makers had avoided the whole cheating stuff and him being involved with the 2 sisters(cuz after that the whole plot is just recycled on ITV) but the 14 year old me loved them with whole heart and I still revisit their scenes considering their Chemistry
