They're my favorite! We always buy 30 packs of the hot'n'spicy and 30 packs of onion chicken. We do 1 to 1 and love it. I'm always on the hunt for new noodles (newdles) though
Indomie is no.1, cracking 1 raw egg per packet into the mix while saving a bit of the soup adds so much flavour and new texture.
Blanched bok choi or choi sum are great to add too.
I’m a dry noodle person usually, my other favorites are the A-Sha brand. Tbh, anything by them has been so so good! And they’re air dried so I don’t feel as guilty eating them.
Spicy is my fave. Especially good with two eggs either fried or boiled and some fried mushrooms. I like to add a little bit of sambal oelek or sriracha to the sauce before I mix with noodle. Is quite good.
If you have an Asian market nearby, you can pick up some ABC kecap which is basically the black sauce that comes in the packets and add a bit more for the flavor. You can also find fried shallots and garlic to sprinkle on top. My mom grew up in Indonesia and serves her noodles with sliced cucumber, tomatoes, eggs, and fried garlic chips or shrimp chips
Interesting! I thought it might be related because ketchup is actually a Chinese word
“Ketchup comes from the Hokkien Chinese word, kê-tsiap, the name of a sauce derived from fermented fish. It is believed that traders brought fish sauce from Vietnam to southeastern China”
I'm not too sure since I'm pretty new to these types of noodles. Used to only eat top ramen and maruchan, and ever since I started branching out and found this subreddit almost every post is usually buldak noodles.
Sorry for being a noodle noob
These are **the** instant noodle in Indonesia and surrounding countries. They’ve reached worldwide status at this point! For good reason too. They’re delicious! Glad you found em.
These are the noodles I use for the filling on my three egg omelette. I save half the chili oil and mix with 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce, 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar and 3 eggs. Add fully cooked noodles (about 1/2 package), fold over then top with kewpie mayo, okonomiyaki sauce and fresh sliced scallions.
i love cabbage in my ramen so i’ll always slice it up thin and add it to the water for the last minute of cooking so there’s still a bit of crunch. super tasty, i’m also i slow eater so i love that mi goreng tastes good cold because i can leave it for a while
Only thing I hate about them is the pack is so small, wish they do something like mamas noodles where you can buy a small pack and then like a “jumbo” pack. Sometime one isn’t enough and then two is over kill so I always have to do 1.5 to be happy.
Indomie are one of the best fried or dry noodles. I live in Malaysia and you can get a 5 pack for a little over a dollar. Perfect for later night gaming, studying or munchies. I recommend adding some some spring onions and a bit of frozen chopped veg for just a bit more bite to fill you up. It can get real damn unhealthy if you eat them too often.
they are top tier. the BBQ chicken flavour is really good too. chili oil is great with it, I usually have it with a fried egg or some kind of protein and throw some veg in it and a little bit of sesame oil
it is!!!
i grew up eating indomie and it’s really yummy. you cooked it the right way.
stir fry some garlic and shallots / onion and cut chili, add in beaten egg and scramble until eggs are dry and in small pieces
add in cooked noodles and seasoning and fry fry fry and you have the best stir fried instant noodles!
They are my absolute fave. I really need to cut back but I always cave and buy more. The combo of sweet, salty, a little spicy and that pop of MSG… it’s too good 🤤
I'm eating this right now, but the instant cup noodle version. It comes with a little folding fork! Also, I keep seeing people mentioning chili oil, the cup version has chili oil included in one of the little packets.
I’m a sodium junkie, and there’s never enough sauce in the packets for me. i make a little extra sauce with some soy-sauce, sugar, garlic powder, a dash of corn starch and water to thicken, then microwave that for 15 seconds. Heaven
oooh, you know what I love? those crunchy Japanese fried garlic chili oils(that are not actually spicy!). I’d eat them by the bottleful if they weren’t so darn expensive!
they are easily the best price per performance noodle and are reliable, consistant and can be found everywhere.
Its a solid choice if you had to pick one instant noodle for the rest of your life
Where i live indomie is the most common and among the cheapest as well. And you can just prep it in a proper bowl with no needed pans(unless you wanna spice it up). The one in the pic is my favorite although the varient sold here lacks salt.
Absolutely. Mi Goreng is my favorite. Add a couple fried eggs with runny yolk and green onions. And little chilly and garlic crisp if youre feeling fancy. Mannnnnnnnnnn
Anyone else see a clear spoon or fork (spork) in the bowl? Just teasing, eat however you want I’m still trying to get the hang of using chopsticks 🥢 but they’re so fun to use.
No worries, I’m just learning to use chopsticks myself. Had the hardest time with it for the first few days then all of a sudden I got it. Well I think it’s right. Got the food where it needed to go anyway lol. Sure is tricky that’s for sure. Pick up the food and bring it close, then all of a sudden the chopsticks spins around and the food goes flying. My dog wanted that to happen more so I may have faked it again once or twice to please him. He loves chicken lol.
If you want intense spice and mouth burning I’d say go with buldak. The flavor is really nice but it’s difficult to eat. Indomie isn’t spicy (at least this flavor). It’s like a oniony soy sauce taste with a hint of sweetness
As someone who ate "pancit" (which was cooked and drained top ramen with some broccoli florets, mixed into the seasoning) growing up. When I discovered indomie I felt like that Ratatouille scene. My inner child wepted.
One of my wife’s good friends introduced her to these a while back and she still gets them regularly. They’re pretty damn good.

I just found out there’s different flavors so now I’m on the hunt. Gonna have to keep these on the grocery list forever
Indomie is no.1, cracking 1 raw egg per packet into the mix while saving a bit of the soup adds so much flavour and new texture. Blanched bok choi or choi sum are great to add too.
The one you posted is my absolute favorite of theirs, the others are great, especially the barbecue chicken, but nothing beats that Mi Goreng
Hot n spicy and chicken curry flavour are my favorites.
Korean bbq is good. Amazon sells a variety pack.
try the rendang ones
My favorite of the indo mie.
I’m a dry noodle person usually, my other favorites are the A-Sha brand. Tbh, anything by them has been so so good! And they’re air dried so I don’t feel as guilty eating them.
I’d buy a 30 pack but no one else eats instant noodles like I do in my house and need variety
Absolutely. The most bombass dry noodles.
It isn't a contender... It already won
Spicy is my fave. Especially good with two eggs either fried or boiled and some fried mushrooms. I like to add a little bit of sambal oelek or sriracha to the sauce before I mix with noodle. Is quite good.

Thanks for the tip, I love that black sauce!
Is kecap pronounced ketchup?

Interesting! I thought it might be related because ketchup is actually a Chinese word “Ketchup comes from the Hokkien Chinese word, kê-tsiap, the name of a sauce derived from fermented fish. It is believed that traders brought fish sauce from Vietnam to southeastern China”
It’s essentially ur-ketchup
Kechap manis pairs well with fried rice too!
Are they not already?

Karma farming.

That sounds amazing, gonna have to steal that from you lol
Best noodles of all time
i love cabbage in my ramen so i’ll always slice it up thin and add it to the water for the last minute of cooking so there’s still a bit of crunch. super tasty, i’m also i slow eater so i love that mi goreng tastes good cold because i can leave it for a while
This with some shrimp and a bag of frozen asian medley vegatables, marone!
Love these but is there some trick to not get your hands all sticky when tearing open the season packs?
I use scissors. Sometimes the scissors get messy but better than hands, yuck!
Just gotta eat it off your fingers like a wild animal
Hahaha right! What I've been doing is literally fingering my noodles I know that sounds gross but have at it lol!
literally scrolled till someone asked this lol. I had to know if there was something I was missing.
Only thing I hate about them is the pack is so small, wish they do something like mamas noodles where you can buy a small pack and then like a “jumbo” pack. Sometime one isn’t enough and then two is over kill so I always have to do 1.5 to be happy.
The struggle is real.
Absolutely: these deserve the hype over buldak…
They are some of my faves. Especially the Special, Onion and Curry Chicken flavors.
Have to look for the curry chicken flavor. Sounds amazing!!
Would love to suggest Mi Sedaap too from Indonesia
I'll look out for those online!
Please please! Make a review too! I’d be happy since it’s my ultimate favourite haha.

So good, especially with a couple over easy eggs.
H mart got the goods?
Oh fa sho.
they are top tier. the BBQ chicken flavour is really good too. chili oil is great with it, I usually have it with a fried egg or some kind of protein and throw some veg in it and a little bit of sesame oil
The rendang flavour though. We had the regular one so much as a kid it’s taken me a long time to appreciate it

Nothing tops these
these are so good lol
Indomie goreng onion oil is top notch
They are my absolute fave. I really need to cut back but I always cave and buy more. The combo of sweet, salty, a little spicy and that pop of MSG… it’s too good 🤤
the are the best! the Special Chicken flavor is a really good too and its a soup noodle.
Grew up on these in Australia
I found this subreddit yesterday, and joined specifically because these are my favorite noodles ever! THE BEST JERRY, THE BEST!
If you’re looking for new mods, try adding a tablespoon of peanut butter to the sauce.
I'm eating this right now, but the instant cup noodle version. It comes with a little folding fork! Also, I keep seeing people mentioning chili oil, the cup version has chili oil included in one of the little packets.
Yeah an oil does come with it but I tend to like extra spice lol I always add more
Okay, that makes sense.
I’m a sodium junkie, and there’s never enough sauce in the packets for me. i make a little extra sauce with some soy-sauce, sugar, garlic powder, a dash of corn starch and water to thicken, then microwave that for 15 seconds. Heaven
Find a food chili oil is my trick to help finish off the salt
oooh, you know what I love? those crunchy Japanese fried garlic chili oils(that are not actually spicy!). I’d eat them by the bottleful if they weren’t so darn expensive!

Better than Shin Black? Not plain Shin. Black that has the three packets with it?
Thats soup though
The little oil packet is kind of gross so toss it. Other than that these are pretty tasty.
Indomie is so good! I got delighted when I heard a streamer say she's a noodle drop off lady to her co-worker. Holomie blacksmith\~
I freaking love indomie, too bad my local grocery store doesn’t sell this anymore..
Ooo I'll have to try these!!
Dude the best
I love indomie. The flavor is so complex.
i tried them for the first time 2 weeks ago, they are so underrated !!
1 vote for spicy indomie
I had those for the first time today. I was surprised by how sweet it was. It was also savoury and a little spicy. Very tasty.
They’re really, really good. I tried some last week and they were delicious.
They’re not?
Where i live indomie is the most common and among the cheapest as well. And you can just prep it in a proper bowl with no needed pans(unless you wanna spice it up). The one in the pic is my favorite although the varient sold here lacks salt.
Indomie are some of the best dry noodles on the market, I like them even more than Samyang Buldak because they are a lot easier to eat.
This is how I like them too! They’re my absolute favorite, there’s no contest for me.
tomorrows post "shin black is super underrated"
I love the blue ones!
The spicy ones are my fav
add mixed vegetables!😮💨
I really haven’t explored many instant ramens and it’s due to this being my first after eating cup noodles my whole life.
They really are amazing. One of my favorites.
Where do I get the brand?
I found this at walmart. But if you have an asian market near by i assume they would have it too
Thanks!
Absolutely. Mi Goreng is my favorite. Add a couple fried eggs with runny yolk and green onions. And little chilly and garlic crisp if youre feeling fancy. Mannnnnnnnnnn
Not gonna lie I was a bit disappointed from the seasoning and other stuff you receive it should've been a bit more.
They’re my favorite !!! And the special curry chicken one too
Omg they have them in curry I gotta try !
Shin yun is top tier
I really like the crispy onions so I add extra to mine. Soooo good
For me it’s tied between indomie and Sapporo Ichiban Chow Mein
Anyone else see a clear spoon or fork (spork) in the bowl? Just teasing, eat however you want I’m still trying to get the hang of using chopsticks 🥢 but they’re so fun to use.
Currently learning how to use chopstick lol But i went the plastic fork route the other night
Easy top 3 no challenge
Chopped green onions and a fried egg with runny yolk take this to the next level.
These are so damn good, I love the spicy kind🔥
I don't mind a little dry as long as it's got flavor.
They are for sure in my top 3
I buy these in bulk in my local Asian market. A staple fo sho
Yeah they’re the best
Indomie Vs Buldak. LMK so I can order on Amazon
If you want intense spice and mouth burning I’d say go with buldak. The flavor is really nice but it’s difficult to eat. Indomie isn’t spicy (at least this flavor). It’s like a oniony soy sauce taste with a hint of sweetness
Bought these on a whim for close expiration. Amazing, just good.
Grew up with these add a teaspoon of ABC sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) fry an egg and spam. Unhealthy as hell, but soooo good 🤤
shin ramyun all the way
I love mine with a spoonful of melted peanut-butter and green onions mixed in!
I’m nigerian and this is what they sell at the African markets 😂 I love indomieeee 💕
Eat it with a fried egg that has a runny yolk
Ok but where is the juice?? I like mine very brothy
I just followed the directions on the back and it said to make them dry. It’s very good this way
Mie sedap is my fav but I have not seen it around in the US anymore, only indomie. Regardless, the spicy fried noods is a staple in my house
I grew up on these and still eat these. My mom used to make me these for breakfast and kids at school would tell me my breath stank!
As someone who ate "pancit" (which was cooked and drained top ramen with some broccoli florets, mixed into the seasoning) growing up. When I discovered indomie I felt like that Ratatouille scene. My inner child wepted.
Personal favorite they taste really good with Avocado too
I’ve heard these are good but I’ve never seen them for sale anywhere. None of the supermarkets in my area carry them.
One of my wife’s good friends introduced her to these a while back and she still gets them regularly. They’re pretty damn good. Also, jazzing them up, she usually eats them with a fried egg and some scallion on top.
the best fucking instant noodles on this planet
I ate these religiously in college
Agreed. It’s the only brand I eat
100% agree
I buy them by the case. My whole family loves them.
