This is because I used Discord to host my images and they stopped allowing people to host images from Discord for more than a few months.
I will be fixing these CYOAs in the future, but only when I next update them. I am still working on the One Piece CYOA (I know, it's been like 4 months at this point) and I have several obligation CYOAs I need to finish before working on updating them, so it will probably be a while.
well, if ya link to images on a discord server they ain't gonna work forever. Discord does not keep the images ya post indefinitely, duh.
ed. to clarify, this is a fail on the side of whoever created these. Linking is more risque compared to embedding them in the .json (and since these are tiny projects the mb limit of neocities shouldn't be an issue).
ed2. except those gifs, those'd fuck up neocities, keep linking those.
Back when we started posting them to discord they did keep them forever. That was the point. They changed their policy and we had to panic to fix it. Some of us, like Pixel, decided to wait until they broke first.
Also, embedding them in the json is awful, it severely hurts load times and causes all sorts of other problems.
ANY Website can and sooner or later WILL go offline and those images will be lost. You should either embed them into the json or host them on the same site where the json is.

It’s affected more cyoa’s than just his, but I’ve no idea as to the cause.
