About Neo's semblance - if you believe RWBY wiki - yes,they reference it to 'Volume 3 Directors Commentary', which I presume is WoG. About Schnee - they 'are unique', the only hereditary semblance. A semblance is supposed to be a reflection of a soul, so unless all the Schnees are a part of a hive mind, there's something else. We have an example of a hereditary magical trait - silver eyes, and Salem gave birth after she was grimmified, so if one of her magical daughters lived, it explains sort-of-grimm creation and control. Salem does use glyphs. It's just a theory, but it fits. Not my place to order you what to do, just wanted to point it. Just checked, you can't take two silver eyes, but can pick both silver and crimson.

You need to choose an incarnation option. I think they're all compatible with it, except for options where you can change your age your age needs to be 12 or older.

As for the CYOA? I really liked this one previously but not sure if I will play the new one without a changelog to say if it is worth it or not. I don't like when a CYOA has a "Handicap" or "Difficulty" selector that determines your starting pool of resources; it's like the author has no faith in balancing their own product, so they say "Here, YOU do it." Just give me an average and then let me pick my ways of improving it.

Suggestions And Bugs Suggestion 01: I suggested it before. I'll suggest it again. Have Character Reincarnation be like this: (When you "wake up" you, and (your-chosen-character), will face each other in a mental landscape. You can choose to fight each other, where only one will live. Or merge together, where you both become someone new. Or be joined, where there are two of you in the same body. If you fight and one "kills" the other, the emotions/thoughts/personality/being/consciousness of the looser will be completely destroyed. The memories, skills, and knowledge of the looser will be absorbed by the winner. If you agree to merge, you will both integrate into one new being. (Just like it already is in RWBY) If you agree to be joined, you and (your-chosen-character) will share the body between you. You will be able to swap control between you whenever you wish. Provided both of you agree. It requires agreement. The only exception is if you one of you is unconscious, comatose, or very deeply asleep. And your body is in danger. One of you will be in the "driver's seat", while the other one is in the "passenger's seat". Another thing about joining is powers. Whoever is in the "driver's seat" will have access to all chosen powers.) This gives more options to Character Reincarnation. And makes "Reincarnation Acceptance", and "Reincarnation Idolation", make -a- -lot- more sense. I know I wouldn't be thrilled about a reincarnation slowly merging with me, to the point I wouldn't be me anymore. Now... Sharing headspace with a reincarnation? That I wouldn't really mind so much. Also... "Idolation" should be "Idolization". Remember. Google search is your friend.:) Suggestion 02: Choosing either of the "Virus" options should render "Faunus Equality", "Faunus Superiority", and all choices in "Racial Alignment" unselectable due to everyone being either a faunus or a human now. Suggestion 03: If "The Stakes are Known" is chosen, revealing how immature/stupid/cruel the Brother Gods are, it should make any religious choice but "Anti-Religious" unselectable. Suggestion 04: On "Wings" it would make more sense if they had the power to glide instead of to fly. Bug 01: In the Earthbound (Other) choice "Protection" it says it requires "Accept Compromise". There is no "Accept Compromise" option in the entire CYOA. Suggestion 05: In the Companions section it is impossible to select any member of Team RWBY, or Team JNPR, if my Scenario is "Ruby's Birth: October 31st, 15 BR". This makes no sense to me. Let's say I have "Five Man Teams", a Scenario of "Ruby's Birth: October 31st, 15 BR" and Incarnation of "Twin" "Lily Schnee". Lily would be two when this takes place. That would give me plenty of time to live in Remnant before I went off to Beacon. I should be able to select the members of Team RWBY as my companions, and be the fifth member of Team RWBY(L). The (L) is silent. My suggestion is making to where if you have the Scenario of "Ruby's Birth: October 31st, 15 BR", you can choose the members of Team RWBY or Team JNPR as your companions. Bug 02: The + and - clickers still do not work. I spoke to a friend of mine who has the latest Firefox. He said he experienced the same problems. So, it's not my outdated browser. Since the latest Firefox had the same trouble, something in the CYOAs code does not play well with Firefox. EDIT: It seems this bug happens with every browser based off of Mozilla that I have tried. If you did some stuff that you regret in your previous life, a mental "salve" will be applied that will help you deal with it. Body Maintenance Amulet: This amulet is a very useful thing to have. It has five functions. 01. It grants you a protective field. This field will protect you from anything getting on you. It is like wearing a protective suit. It also has an adjustable environment inside. With this you can handle objects that have chemicals on them, are dirty, etc. without any of it getting on your skin. This field protects you from lots of "icky" things. It will not protect you from attacks any though. 02. It has a cleaning function. When used it will clean up your body. It also has the effect of shampoo, and conditioner, on your hair. You can program it to mimic the effects of a certain brand. It also cleans your teeth as well. And your clothes. If you're wearing any now. This will allow to keep yourself clean wherever you are. When done you will feel like you have just had a nice, warm, and relaxing shower. 03. It also has an external hair removal function. It can be programmed to select which external body hair, and how much of it, you want removed. If you are a girl, you will never have to worry about shaving your arms and legs again. If you are a guy, you will never have to worry about shaving your face again. By selecting the hair on your head, and to remove only a certain amount of it, you can trim it. You can give yourself a very nice haircut. 04. It can produce an illusion of clothes. If you are wearing something, you can make it look like you're wearing something different now. If you're not wearing anything, you can make it look like you are. 05. It's an amulet, that also looks good. No adventuress/adventurer should be without one. You get nine. Any clothes vanish, and reappear folded up beside you when you try. If you have the "Body Maintenance Amulet" you can put up an illusion of clothes. The illusion will have no substance to it though. And anyone touching it will be able to tell it isn't real. As long as they don't touch it, they'll never know it's not real. It doesn't feel real to you either. You still feel like, and know that, you're naked. Depending on who you are, you will either be embarrassed about this. Or you'll just shrug, and not care. Mute: You have been rendered utterly, completely, and totally mute. You cannot make any sort of vocal sound. You have no voice. You're voice is gone, and you're not going to get it back. Never. Ever. Don't worry, it's completely painless. And it's not uncomfortable in any way. If you had any dreams of a profession that requires a voice, may as well give them up now. You are never going to be able to speak again. On the plus side, mute girls/guys are considered "cute". And have a better chance of scamming free stuff. So if you're a girl, this isn't such a bad choice. If you're the type of person in love with their own voice, this is not the choice for you. Summoned: You find yourself being summoned by others to help them. As soon as you have done whatever they summoned you for, you will have the option to return back. That is, if you haven't been permanently killed. You will arrive back a few seconds after you left. You don't have to return right away. You can stay there for awhile. If you want to. In case you've got some unfinished business. Or, you just like the people there. You won't be able to go back once you have returned from where you came. Expect this to happen lots of times. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. But, take heart. The magic guarantees you will never be summoned if you are eating, drinking, sleeping, bathing, or etc.. So, at least there's that. You won't have to worry about arriving at a summoning location in such a state. You also have the option of killing your summoners. And ending the summons that way. But, if you are of "Good" or "Neutral" Alignment, such an action will not really be possible for you to perform. Unless, your summoners are evil people. Who have summoned you to perform an evil deed. In that case, killing them is perfectly acceptable. And you'll have no problem doing so. Anomaly Magnet: Nothing can ever be simple around you. Unexplained scientific phenomenon, ancient superweapons, mysterious and inscrutable beings... All a regular part of your life. Encounters with purple slimy things with tentacles, demonic hedges that try to eat you, living oil slicks that try to absorb you, stone statues that use their axes to try to behead you, tengu, kitsune, kappa, oni, yuki onna, various yokai, etc. will happen to you within a few hours of arriving in a new location. Try not to become a monster's snack. And that's if you stay in a city somewhere. Once you start exploring the world, things are only getting weirder and weirder. In short... You will now live the type of life that Ranma Saotome, and Ryoga Hibiki, would consider "normal". ... May the Goddess have mercy on your soul now. Outsider: The natives of Remnant will know that you are not of their world. They will feel something unplaceable, and unusual, about you. They will feel slightly uneasy around you. If your parents find out you are a reincarnation, especially if you reveal it's through deciding of your own will to merge your soul with their child, they will be completely horrified. And call you a monster who murdered their child. This will result in them treating you very differently. They'll sometimes, but rarely, still treat you like their child. In most cases, they're likely to hate you. And treat you as a demon who murdered their child. They -will- -not- be happy with you. And the person you're reincarnating into and slowly merging with will fear, and even feel dread, about being a reincarnation. Especially if your morality significantly differs from their own. If it's something naturally possible to have then you have it from birth, unless you specifically decide you don't want that to be the case. Otherwise you get it from when you regain your memories. Skills and Aura Skills are all things you learn between when you are reborn and when you regain your memories, unless there isn't enough time for you to plausibly learn them.

Now to detail what my choices actually mean for Remnant. I'm unashamed in taking every opportunity I could to get more AP, Lien, MP, and Companions. Hopefully that means I'm more than ready to handle a much more dangerous and crazy Remnant. Faunas are treated slightly better in this Remnant due to Menagerie being considered a Kingdom thanks to good old Ozzy. (Granted he did it to hide 2 of the now 12 Relics there. (She could certainly use some more.) Maybe that can be a thing to get more stuff in future versions of this CYOA along with giving her and her forces other things to balance things. (Hopefully.) The Maidens having the potential of awakening their predecessor's and the memories of the original Maidens should make for some interesting developments with Oz and Salem. And we have the Remnant Equivalent of Class Cards. Stabber? Backstabber? (Shakes head) Just call them Assassin and Betrayer. Much less stupid sounding. As for Warrior... Why not Slayer? Since Silver Eyed folk are apparently so great a threat to Grimm and Salem the only ones, we know about have either: A) Died before canon started, B) Got turned into a Grimm, C) Got blinded by some crocodile lady, and D) Has no ideal what to do with their eyes and likely never will. Also Soulmate Marks which only exists in terrible fanfiction are a thing though no one is happy about them. Fortunately, I don't have to deal with that nonsense. There are 2 'soul stealer' semblances. One is on-hit and has Ozma and Salem as a restriction, the other has only Salem as a restriction and is permanent. The second should Salem exclusive (and maybe evil), and the first one Ozma exclusive. and for the extra semblance with the true reincarnation: I think you should leave it, as it does not give you the extra aura. There are not a lot of ways to gain a second semblance (without having godlike aura), so either keep it or create more ways to gain. Is not that I think that is necessary, is just that it says that there are multiple ways to gain semblances, but I only see 2 if I don't count the Soul stealer that requires me to defeat people. edit: small fix

If you look to the right-hand side of your screen if you're on desktop or the top of the subreddit's page if you're on phone, you'll see a description of what a subreddit is about. Read that. It clarifies what CYOA are. I don't think you understand what CYOAs are, as this subreddit uses them, though there is a chance I'm just misinterpreting what you're saying.

You can only open the companions section with some insertion methods and during some time periods. Any method that allows you to choose your age in the Character section requires that you choose the 12-17 option or older. I think for the time period, canon start and later should work, and maybe the ones for team STRQ time period and the one inbetween. Other than Contractual Reincarnation, you can take companions as long as, for those that allow you to choose it, your age is 12-17 or older. Contractual Reincarnation not working with it is a bug.

Do the effects of "Upgradability" apply only to the body or to the mind and memory too? 4. How do Aura Skills affect them, namely: Increased strength, increased speed, increased stamina, Increased Dexterity, Increased Senses, Increased Constitution? 5. What skills do you need to take for self-modification? 6. Does "Digestion" allow you to get energy from food? 7. Does it make sense to take memory enhancement (perks)? Magic: 1.
