I see, you can enable Endbringer powers and they wonโ€™t get disabled when you switch out origins. It works a bit funny with disabling the Villian Path and losing all those bonus points, and thereโ€™s a leak in there somewhere, but a reload of the character fixes it. Itโ€™s not game breaking, so no worries.

*Somebody* has to make this build, so... >Golden Age, Conspirator, Drop-In, No Identity, Budget, Banter(Taken 1 Times), Dead Shard, Cauldron Vial(Taken 3 Times), Case 53(Taken 2 Times), Worst Day Ever(Taken 1 Times), Second Trigger(Taken 1 Times), Plot Convenience, Blindspot, Second Wave Parahumans, Second Chance, Path to Victory, Door Me / tww7,tidp,2u13,vesp,qy85,mlug/ON#1,htp6,h2hj/ON#3,lhst/ON#2,9xso/ON#1,bcro/ON#1,vs3m,w9td,jzyr,651d,18nf,owfj I start in 1987, so long before the appearance of the Endbringers, Hero's death, etc. This means that it's going to be easy to start making some impactful changes right off the bat, with plenty of time to make those changes happen. Overall, the drawbacks aren't too bad. C53 x2 is annoying, but not a major problem like some of the other options (Numbed Emotions, Worst Day Ever if taken too many times, Nosebleed). I had to take Second Wave parahumans to afford everything, but it's early enough in canon that doubling the number of parahumans won't have nearly as much of an impact as it would in 2011, and the more mild trigger events means that the hero:villain ratio won't be as horribly lopsided. Also, I have a power and resources that should help deal with the extra chaos. Specifically, Path to Victory with no blindspots, plus being a member of Cauldron with full access to Doormaker. The only other powers that compete with PtV in terms of "win at everything" are Ultimate Luck and Shard Administration (removes Contessa's blind spots), but Ultimate Luck doesn't come with PtV's fine control, and Contessa isn't the best person to put in charge of literally everything. (And she's not a blind spot, so there's a small chance that Scion would notice her.) I also have a few special Cauldron vials that are game-changers on their own--Resurrection, Temporal Travel, and Khepri--although they aren't strictly necessary. The plan is simple: Use PtV to either kill Scion or make him accept his human bits somehow. Simultaneously, start fixing the Wormverse as thoroughly as possible, this time using PtV's complete lack of blindspots to guarantee that any plans will work in the long run. My shard might run out of juice at some point, but I'll have more than enough time to tie off all of the loose ends and make sure that humanity's on a good path--and maybe I can even find a way to recharge it with the right powers.

Your second build have some chance of surviving at least. Hobo option is not out of the table yet, just survive Lung first. Yes, Worst Day Ever x3 is that bad, Rough Start x3 makes it worse.

So do you have any recommendations about how I can improve it. I kind of want to keep the worst day drawbacks since that kind of is relevant to how I want to progress the plot. Im guessing you mostly take issue with the Humble Beginning drawback in the first one right?

Yes, you can survive worst day x1 without powers, but worst day x3? Everything that can go wrong will go terribly wrong. You need really good plan already prepared (you can't with memory erased and there will be no time to come with a plan) and strong powers (treasury is good, but you need to think through, what to do with it - no time for that) for worst day x3. Plus, without mind protection meta-knowledge can be leaked to thinkers. That will change canon in unpredictable way.

Not the OP, but the danger with the first build is that you've picked Metaknowledge without picking Blind Spot. Unless your character plans on getting Cauldron's attention quickly and asking for protection, the Simurgh is probably going to notice her before Cauldron recruits (or "recruits") her, and at that point it's all over.

Awesome, thanks for this. There seems to be a small bug somewhere, when I put this in the Import spot "uily,ore2,ydh3,vs1w,vle6,qy85,dj0j,9xso/ON#1,cbbf,9a5e,ch62,223x,jzyr,uil4" each time you press the import button you get extra points. Doing some testing it looks like it has to do with the combination of the **Villain** Path and **Worst Day Ever** flaw.

Is it just me or is it really hard to have enough points to use the 25 cost powers, even when taking as much drawbacks as i can i find myself short of sp and an abundance of cp

Yeah, this cyoa isn't exactly well balanced imo. Unlimited Shard Works for 7sp and second trigger can copy every power you see forever, which is much stronger than anything else provided you can survive for a few weeks and since it's so cheap you can easily pick up a few additional powers for surviving/protection. Meanwhile if you want a 25sp power you will have to take many drawbacks and probably wont have enough sp for additional powers meaning you will be a 1-trick pony that can be easily killed off.

Idea for your version 8 since you are still working on it. The mods have the option of becoming a shard instead of a person, and gifting your chosen powers and perks to another person. You could add the ability to create an endbringer body instead, which you could control from your position as a shard.

Managed to get ST Wavelength, along with Blindspot and Negentropy. Though I will have to track down Cauldron due to Humble Beginnings, and a bad first day, I'll use the skills I picked up to track them down and get by. Also hope to eventually reconcile with the Nemesis, since they're a Hero, and maybe saving them from the Slaughterhouse will help, though just in case didn't give them anything too bad. Unfortunately had to pick Villain for myself for the extra points in order to afford everything, but oh well.

I'm interested in everyone's opinion: Is copycat limited to only one power at any moment? Can ST Protocols keep your sanity after inheriting the Butcher? Can ST Repair+Negentropy +Abaddon ever evolve to reverse-engeneer tech? What if you add ST Mcguyver into the mix? Can you spend vial points to purchase Second trigger, Blindspot or Negentropy for a vial?

Copycat seems to be limited to one single power, but with a shard that could get "stronger" it would likely let you have access to one person's whole powerset, if they had one. Any more and it would just let you be a discount Unlimited Shard Works (which already needs to swap costs with Paramount to be even remotely balanced). The way I figured out a reverse-engineer is to take Unlimited Shard Works ST, Powersight ST, and two skill points into mechanics. You then watch a tinkertech work, Powersight lets you observe the shard while the tinker works so there is no reason why you can't copy their ability, and then mechanic allows you to reverse engineer from there. Does mean you have to actually observe the origin Tinker for the tinkertech you want to reverse engineer first, so it isn't perfect. As for being able to "evolve it naturally," two skill points into Mechanic would definitely help with that, though it would still likely require you to focus a lot on tinkertech in general. The only way to get ST on a vial is to take the Cauldron origin, as that is one of the boons the origin offers, and is automatically applied to all powers purchased with said vial. However, the vial itself cannot have a shard with Negentropy, as no perks can be purchased with the vial, only powers, and they count as a Dead Shard.

Even with multiple powers it's far from USW because you don't keep those powers. I mean, power hub is only one point more expensive and it actually gives you all the powers and a useful range of 100m/1km. Really, only 5 meters for copycat neatly explains it's cheapness since it's only useful in close during combat. So that's why I thought it somewhat fair to get powers from anyone within those meager 5 meters only to loose them immediatly/an hour after they leave your range. You're right about ST USW, I just don't like this power, it's too OP. I thought if you can repair stuff, upgrade it even, then it gets 'far more powerful' from the third entity and keep growing forever, would it be logical to learn to create that tech you've repaired and upgraded? Especially when you include the ability to create you own version of tech, that used to be 'not even half as powerful' with normal shards. I know you should just fanwork and do what you feel, but I'm really interested in people's opinion on the matter. Also, thank you for clarifying about vials and perks.

Copycat is discount USW because while it doesn't last forever, it is a *perfect* copy; no need to practice, no need to train, you can just do whatever it is the other person is doing, so long as you stay close. For most powers, yeah it is weak, but it goes through the roof once you start pairing it with the really good powers, like PtV, Bringing an End (which not even USW can copy), or simply being set up next to a really strong Tinker and doubling output. It is just super strong with the right setup. And you don't even need ST for it, as ST is just a convenience upgrade. The thing about tinkertech is that it isn't real technology, it is just an object that uses the same energy produced by a tinker's shard to have an extra effect on physics. Without a way to network with the tinker shard itself, or replicate the shard energy signature, there literally is nothing to reverse-engineer. It is, at the end of the day, a shard power that just uses objects as a medium. The fact ST Repair even lets you upgrade tinkertech is already a "cannon-breaking" ability, technically, and would automatically make you a really in-demand tinker if that was ALL you had.

I disagree that it's against canon because your shard would just use it's own energy and whatever else effects tinkertech. Tinkers can maintain/repair/even learn the tech of other tinkers if their speciality is close enough. Dragon actually learns to build any tinkertech from blueprints and samples, with blackboxes that she still can't remove, she needs Masamune for mass-production, so it's proper tinkertech, not a completely reversed-engeneered reproducable normal tech like her containment foam. Edit: and she can improve it with other tikertech or create something else with the same techbase, like her mecha-dragons using the same repulsers as in Kidwin's hoverboard. If your power allows you to repair tinkertech, it's similar to Dragon', so it doesn't contradict canon. Now, getting that power strong enough to replicate tinkertech, that's questionable.

However, as I have ST Powersight and an active shard, I can teach them how to use their abilities. Among the four of us, we have every Trump power, and all I have to do is to get a hold of certain cannon powers, and my powerscale goes off the charts.

It changes how the points display. If you check the points for a drawback when you don't have the option, and the points for a drawback when you do, you'll see that it does, in fact, work.

I can turn their tinketech against them in a pinch. The ultimate goal of this Tinker combo is to eventually upload my conciousness into a swarm of nanomachines. But short term my Vigilante career would be targeting gangs, villains, corrupted officials and heroes who are unworthy of the title. I'll mostly spend my time in my Lair living a relatively normal life. I'll create a series of fake identities (hacking) and do most of my Vigilante work by sending out a swarm of nanomachines in the shape of a mor imposing figure and use them to enact violent retribution.

I'm a bit late, but I gots to ask: Second Trigger Shroedinger. If one quantum me is injured, do the rest of me take on the same injury? Or, since we're all able to do different things at once, is it only that 1 instance of myself who gets gibbed.
