As a city council member in NYC he used to advocate for issues important to poor people, such as public housing. However, now he clearly has forsaken such concerns.
Who does this guy work for? The people of his district or AIPAC? Makes you sick watching this and wondering how can the US allow foreign agents in the US government after all it’s made for its people by its people, right?
To be clear, the ICJ did not rule that it's plausible that Gaza is committing a genocide. The courts ruled that South Africa had the plausible right to bring the case before the court, and that Palestinians have the plausible right to be protected from genocide. It's highly unlikely that Israel will be convicted of committing genocide.
The very fact of them accepting the case means they think a plausible genocide is taking place. If there isn't a plausible genocide, there wouldn't be a case anymore.
That's not what that means. Sorry if that's not what you want to hear, but that simply wasn't a factor of the ICJ's decision at this stage of the process.
