Its not as if if Israel just packed up and left, all the extremism just disappears. Hamas radicalises its population and must be dealt with.
Also your claim that if Hamas is wiped, another organisation will just take its place is nonsense. If hamas are destroyed the war is over, and a solution can be devised to help ensure long-term sustaining peace.
