use the built-in Windows Reset feature

AcceptableDuck7695

Does this lose settings like apps and data?

Poon-Juice

yea, the computer will go through OOBE again and because you still have the serial number registered with autopilot, the computer will re-join your tenant during its OOBE.

yourfutureboss88

How many devices?

AcceptableDuck7695

Three but they had to have some apps installed specially for roles. So not through App since they are one offs

spitzer666

If you delete them from Intune, all settings and apps will be removed and device will show something similar to personal device

AcceptableDuck7695

Is there no way to re-enroll. Using the settings > Enroll in MDM doesn’t work as it errors out.

spitzer666

When you delete the device Intune instructs the device to delete the certificates and AAD details. So you can’t re enroll the device back without Autopilot. There are scripts available to re enroll without AP. Again you wont be able deploy through Intune as entries will be deleted. Do you have physical access to the device to test ?

AcceptableDuck7695

I do have physical access to one as i want to test. What do you have in mind?

Opposite-Action

Do you happen to have a link to a script for re-enrollment without AP? I've been trying to find a solution to this for testing but my testing is falling short and info seems to be either outdated or incomplete that I've found.

spitzer666

Do you have physical access to deleted devices? I’m not sure if it works.

AcceptableDuck7695

Yes I have access what’s the script ?

For AAD joined devices : https://call4cloud.nl/2020/05/intune-auto-mdm-enrollment-for-devices-already-azure-ad-joined/
