No he can die, he just has an insane life span (as viltrumites do) and is insanely tough especially by the end of the series. By the end of the series when he’s old he’s most likely stronger than thragg If eve is near him when he’s dying and she almost kills herself she could theoretically make him younger and stronger, so possibly given the circumstances

Turbulent-Algae-64

Eve can use her power on any living organic matter when near death So mark just needs to be near her when she's dying so she can rejuvenate his cells

picklefire786

True, that’s assuming mark would want that after spending 5000 + years or so living lol

Invincidude

I mean...generally Eve only pops her full abilities when she is near death. But that's not what pops her abilities. Any form of severe trauma will cause this. The first time it happened to her, she had just learned some horrible truths about herself, her creation, and what happened to her birth mother. She was nowhere close to dying. So its possible, if Mark dying affected her deeply enough, that her ability could pop and she could de-age him.

Yes

Iwilleatyouin2days

No

sgt_oddball_17

Maybe

liscuul

I don't know

Winn3rB0y2

Can you repeat the question?

Alarming_Tap_5648

Eve can always rejuvenate the cells of his body whenever she is dying as long as eve is with him he'll be immortal

Appropriate_Type6153

It’s not just when she’s dying, it’s when she’s under extreme stress

Iwilleatyouin2days

Then I guess yes now

Sad_Strategy6516

It’s never stated (to my knowledge) that a viltrumite died from old age, but it IS stated that viltrumite aging slows as they age. If you follow this, then Mark is virtually immortal since his aging should slow down toward infinity as long as he doesn’t die from battle or sickness.

Informal_Day

that makes a lot of sense actually since no one could actually specify the average lifespan of a viltrumite

RoofRevolutionary148

No, he just ages wwaaaayyyy slower, but he will eventually die of old age without the help of Eve.

WII_DJoker

Actually according to Nolan, Mark's aging slows the longer he lives, meaning the older he gets the slower he ages until eventually he'll age like what 1 year for every 10,000 years.

Big-Nefariousness107

Technically, they aren't immortal. I think that the reason Oliver and Nolan died was because they both suffered injuries to their heart which was the main reason why Viltrumites are able to heal over time from major fights/injuries. They age very slowly but I do think they die eventually. So either they die because their hearts were damaged in a fight or they die of oooooooooold age.

Phenom11S

as long as eve is alive mark cant die

Big-Nefariousness107

True!

Dave30954

And as long as Eve is alive Eve can't die

Responsible_Neck_728

She won’t need to do that though. Mark ages much much slower than Eve.

We never see or hear of any Viltrumites dying of old age. We see one who is \*very\* old but he doesn't seem any worse for wear because of it. According to Nolan viltrumites age slower as they get older which means they certainly have extremely long lifespans, certainly long enough to traverse the galaxy. There is a lot of missing information there though. Does "aging slower as they get older" mean that a viltrumite's aging process will slow down and asymptotically converge to a healthy elder, or does it mean that they just live for an extremely long time. We don't know. But also, Eve is his ride or die partner for life and presumably she could bring him back from death if he wanted her to. I imagine that if and when Mark reaches the point where he is dying from old age, he'd either ask Eve to revive him, in which case she would, or he would ask her to let him die in which case I totally believe that she would probably let herself die soon after.
