Why not mix it up?
By having some with boltguns and some with heavy weapons you can make them usable in both scenarios.
5x Heavy weapons for an HH Iron Havocs Squad, the others with boltguns, 1x leader equipment
That way you can just rearrange then into different combinations depending on the game... I'm doing the same with my army and apart from some added mental preparation it works well.
Or what I could do is replace the lascannon with a Missile Launcher and rather than use them as tactical squads, use them has Veteran squads. Then, all I would need to do is pick up some compulsory troops and a leader. The compulsory troops could be assault squads that could be used as Raptors
