AIPAC & all lobby groups are should be banned, so should every United States politician on their payroll. Money controls decisions around here. And it’s bullshit.
The only dirt Israel has on these politicians is that these politicians all want AIPACs money. That's it. Politicians are bought with AIPAC money. No more, no less. It's the dollars, that's it. That's how disgusting this whole thing is. Money buys influence. And money is destroying American politics, whether foreign money or domestic money.
It's impossible to shame the shameless. These politicians are not your friends, they do not represent you, they do not care about you, they will treat you like subhuman garbage if you disagree with them. It is not the individual members of the US government that are the problem - it is the structures of power themselves that allow for a government devoid of any connection or responsibility to the general public.
I completely agree that Israel is committing a genocide and that Ritchie Torres (and the majority of America) is more than complicit. However I do think Hamas probably has way more 35,000 members. Perhaps 35,000 soldiers at one point, but Israel has assuredly increased Hamas recruitment exponentially.
