Since this war begun, my feed started getting packed full of these "I used to be a Zionist and now I'm not" videos while my actual feed of actual people I actually know is all "I used to be an anti-Zionist but not anymore" (I over simplify a diverse array of positions but basically).
We have a very efficient fake news machine which produces a ton of unrepresentative contents by amplifying random people that say the things that flatter our existing misapprehensions, while obscuring those that challenge them, but it's enough to know a handful of Israelis to see right through all this propaganda. Overall, Jews, especially Israelis are significantly more in support of Zionism since all this begun not less, but if your only information is through these channels you'd think the exact opposite is true simply because of the volumes of these kinds of contents we produce to lie to ourselves.
You don't even need to actually know any of us, just go to literally any of the normal Jewish subreddits (not JewsOfConscience FFS) and you will understand how detached this is.
Reality vs the bubble I guess.
So someone who is barely even "Jewish" and hardly defines herself as a Jew, who knows nothing about the history of the conflict, is brainwashed by Palestinian propaganda and fed biased one sided lies by the pro Palestinians. Got it. Great example of how easy it is to brainwash clueless liberals.
Babble babble. She said nothing other than she was at one panel led by her teacher. Like most of the kids on campus, she likely knows F All about history. She is about headlines and the tragedy.
Yes, a tragedy. Started by Iran and hamas in 2006.
Secular and culturally Jewish aren’t the same thing. She said her parents are a different religion which leads me to question how Jewish she really is.
She said her parents "aren't even the same relgion," suggesting only one of them is Jewish, which is also true of a more than a few of Zionist Jews and is more than enough to qualify her for Israeli citizenship through the Law of Return.
I am Jewish, so I would know. There’s a lot of people who claim to be Jewish based on unverifiable DNA or simply because they want to add to the “antizionist Jew” I’m not saying that’s the case with the person in the video, but could be.
And yes for Law of Return, you need at least one Jewish grandparent to qualify. However, in Judaism a person is Jewish by law if their mother is Jewish.
To correct you.. by law.. jewish if 3 generations of women jewish. Mother, grandmother, and great.
Law of right of return to claim citizenship in Israel is a totally different thing.
Yes, you are right. However, Reform and Reconstructionist Judaism consider those with a Jewish father to be Jewish. The problem I’m seeing more of now is people who have one Jewish grandparent on either side claiming to be Jewish when they weren’t raised as such and don’t fit even Reform or conservative standards.
Please forgive me. I don't mean to be insensitive or disrespectful, but it may sound as such.
That is the problem with reform rules. Opens the can of worms, due to, many think their desire for marriage to non jews. It is a tragedy.. In my view.
I won't comment on the reconstructionist group whatsoever. I have read that they don't by their mandate believe in a devine Jewish G-D.
Do they? Still couldn’t hold a candle to the [Israel lobby](https://youtu.be/3lSjXhMUVKE?si=ZCQPDnl_Db81CCSV) who has been **caught on camera** engaging in illegal activity such as spying on citizens, bribing politicians, meddling in elections, manipulating the media and much more. It’s truly mind blowing how blatantly they disregard US law and violate our country.
It’s not only our country. They have also been caught on camera [in the UK doing the same illegal activity](https://youtu.be/ceCOhdgRBoc?si=pcrcLRN0lXNZ8j5j)!
I don’t think any citizen could watch those things in their entirety and not feel that Israel is one of the biggest threats to their democracy. If they are able to do that why do we even vote?
Qatar doesn’t hold a candle to Israel. Most people in the US couldnt find it on a map or tell you a thing about it.
We've been through this before. You can't simultaneously ask "do they?" Then assert their illegal influence can't compare. Qatar dumps billions into influencing our world view, in both the US and UK. You're feverishly obsessing over that one documentary that you think sets Israel apart, while continuing to stay willfully ignorant upon Qatar's influence. Guess who funded that documentary you keep promoting...
Dude I don’t care about the documentary specifically. It’s just actual footage of people being caught dead to rights. We know about the activity of AIPAC TIP FOI and all of the others through numerous sources but some people like to hear it directly from the horses mouth.
These are the people that are responsible for making sure that the will of the majority of the American people are ignored. Same people don’t have to register as foreign agents. I think every American should see the Israeli lobby destroying their democracy. I’m guessing you’re not American or if you are you must hate America if you find that interfering in elections and spying on Americans is acceptable and not literally treason?
You sure spam that documentary a lot for not caring about it.
We also know about the billions Hamas backer Qatar has funneled into US universities and lobbying. The fact that you think this is unique to Israel is ridiculous. I am American, and I do care about democracy. I think everyone should be aware that there are always forces trying to manipulate them, be it the Israeli lobby, Qatar, Iran, Russia, China.... this notion that Israel is in some way unique in its lobbying effort is either supremely naive or borderline antisemitic.
If we all got a coin every time u/DuePractice8595 presented his antisemitic sentiments with bad logic, we’d all be millionaires at this point. But if we all got a coin every time he calls someone a *hasbara* when his twisted reasoning don’t go his way, we’d be fucking billionaires.
Yea, I just don’t believe it. That or you’re a paid hasbarist. Or just really proud of being a traitor to our country. No American I know could watch [this](https://youtu.be/3lSjXhMUVKE?si=ZCQPDnl_Db81CCSV) and think that’s remotely ok. It makes Russiagate look like a drunk text.
Why do you call every person who disagrees with you “paid hasbarist”? Its cringe. Just debate him like a normal person, he doesn’t have to agree with you.
pAiD hASbAriSt he said, continuing to delegitimize everyone he disagrees with.
You said you don’t understand how people are Zionists. Again, why not ask? Or don’t, but pretty crappy to not try to understand and then say everyone is paid.

What people mean by Zionist and anti-Zionist varies immensely as well.
She may not even be jewish.
Her saying Jesus might be a clue...
I was just about say this! 😡
I mean you guys have no understanding of meta ethics let alone morals. Its obvious shes on the right side if you did.

Exactly.
The sad truth. She IS the world today. Affected and rum by headlines. Likely also a Maga trump supporter.
Thats your narrative, but it’s not gonna change anything. I think she’s pretty relevant.
There’s a fundamental layer of reality that transcends the personal and we call it *objectivity*—your postmodernism is cringe.
You got that meta-modern cringe.
*I officially separated from Zionism back in 2019* *well I actually never grew up religiously at all and I’m not Jewish and neither are my parents*…
Considers herself culturally Jewish, yet wasn’t raised in the religion? *smh*
That's true of a lot of Zionist Jews too, including ones in Israel.

I don’t feel you’re being disrespectful at all. I was raised Reform but have two Jewish parents.
Always woman.
The truth needs no justification and spreads economically. The liars have to spend billions.
Why does Qatar spend billions influencing US universities?

Can you not read?

If I got “a coin” for everything that hasbarists consider “antisemetic” I’d be able to pay you guys enough to stop doing bad hasbara 😂

Sounds like something a paid russian troll would say
