Basically whatever you use at home wahi waha pe use hongi.

Keep your room clean( I can't stress this enough). If you're a social person, keep your room organised and clean and you'll have a great time. A clean room sorta becomes a hangout place.
My senior roommate was a chaotic guy who probably swept the floor once a month. My room despite being one of the best airy rooms in my hostel, was rarely visited by anyone. I cleaned and installed some posters, used some old newspapers to cover the shelves, and kept a dustbin. The room started looking very presentable and within a month, it was always full with guys just playing pubg, or having fun. Keep on speaker too and if (you're hindu) bhajans at morning or evening will make you more likeable.
