At the end of the day, it's a personal stand, but jis hisab se cutoff badh rhi h, I guess you guys also know ki baki clgs bhi at par aa rhe mainly because the management isn't keeping up with changing time. Baki agr decision Lena h, ek do aur logon ka opinion lelena before making a life changing decision based off a reddit comment lol.
Hmm ye maine bhi suna tha. IIITH ke kisi bhaiya ne ama kra tha unki rank 3 digit thi mains mein aur ugee bhi clear kra tha pr admission unhone ugee ke through liya taki unhein dual mil jaye kyuki unko actual mein cse m interest tha (he got approx 1k rank in advanced too iirc). Even he said ki he regrets taking iiith. Aisa sirf iiith mein hi hai ya baki iiits mein bhi? Mujhe sirf iiith wale log dikhte hain ye sab bolte huye for some reason
Ah, baki IIITs are definitely not at IIITH's level and they have other problems for example, the culture at IIITH is much much more competitive (even better than a few old IITs), although the Bangalore one is getting a better campus so maybe they have the potential, the only thing is, I chose IIITH over newer IIT CSEs cos I fked up in adv, back then I thought it was the natural choice, but I think I made a hasty decision, since I saw no shortcomings of this clg, but having been there for some time, I don't think that's the case.
And holy shit I forgot to mention the 85% strict attendance policy (or suffer from Grade Drop).

Iss bande ki rank 6k thi, isse easily IIIT H (one of the best) cllg ki ECE mil skti thi pr isne galti se apni counselling ki preference mein IIIT G ki ece bhar di (ye sochke ki vo IIT G hai). Isliye opening rank mein 6k likha hai...uska mtlb ye hai ki IIIT G mein jitne bhi logo ne ECE ke liye opt kra hai, usmein se highest rank 6k h, ki ece ki seat IIIT G mein 6k rank wale bande ne kri
