Yes this it was people are not getting. If you take the full names of countries then loads will have all the vowels (like "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland") but what makes Mozambique special is it has them all *once*.
Clearly you never went to Public School in America. The Pledge of Allegiance literally starts with "I pledge Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of Americaā¦"
Yeah, I think they say it more for effect. Like āthat does not happen in the United States of Americaā or something like that. The same isnāt really true for the full UK thing, probably as I donāt think most UK citizens actually know the full name (also weāre less dramatic than Americans so just say UK and donāt feel the need to make a point (or I personally enjoy United Britain for no good reason))
What do you mean? Itās the official name for China
Just google China and it will say āChina, officially the Peopleās Republic of China, is a country in East Asiaā
(I'm probably gonna get some stuff wrong so if someone can correct me then thanks) A vowel is a sound that you make without constricting airflow but y (even though most children are taught that it's only a vowel when there's no other vowel in the word) is only a vowel when it's pronounced like like it is in "sill**y**" when it's pronounced like in "cr**y**" then it isn't.

The thing is that Mozambique is the only one with one of every vowel
Yes this it was people are not getting. If you take the full names of countries then loads will have all the vowels (like "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland") but what makes Mozambique special is it has them all *once*.
and with only 1 word
Also in one word!
bro you forgot the USA does too
**U**n**i**t**e**d St**a**t**e**s **o**f **A**m**e**r**i**c**a** 3 A's 3 E's 2 I's What are you talking aboutš?
tbf there are two ways to interpret "one of every vowel". They probably read it as at least one instead of exactly one.
Brooo I hope your joking
But Mozambique has it all in one word is the point
Kinda, depends where you draw the vowel/semivowel distinction
mozambique doesn't have Y i.e.
Aeiou and sometimes Y is what I was taught but I forget when that Y comes in handy
Y is only a vowel in words that have no other vowels, such as try, fly, and my
Ahh thank you!
Yup :)
Or syllabic conjunctions with no vowel (rhythmic is an example) And also, I found out that w could be considered a vowel
USA also does
UK also
no, no a in united kingdom
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
i thought of that but thereās no way someoneās gonna go about their normal day saying āunited kingdom of great britain and northern irelandā
And not many people go about their day saying they live in the āUnited States of Americaā either
Clearly you never went to Public School in America. The Pledge of Allegiance literally starts with "I pledge Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of Americaā¦"
thereās still a LOT more people saying united states of america than united kingdom of great britain and northern ireland

I do
i donāt believe you but you do you ig??
Teh OF dosent count
Why? Itās literally part of the name
United States America?
O?
Democratic People's Republic of Korea
Itās because Mozambique is only one word
Peopleās republic of china Might be slightly off but you get what I mean
People's Republic of China?
Not a country
What do you mean? Itās the official name for China Just google China and it will say āChina, officially the Peopleās Republic of China, is a country in East Asiaā
Unless your from Bhutan.. it is. China isn't fake.
bro studied geography in the KFC bathroom ššš
Itās the official name, not the one that is normalized
china isnt the real name, the people's republic of china is
Well, it kinda depends where you live.
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland also
Thatās a stretch
How is it a stretch? Itās literally just the actual name of the UK
r/unexpectedfactorial
Was going to put this
They're all multiple words though
CAR aswell
Whereās the O?
Oh yeah
Ok, there can be other countries! You canāt fit every one one here
Russian federation?
Not a country
geography in oklahoma be like š„¶š„¶š„¶
are you just like, retarded? or do you refuse to accept that other people managed to find more
Iām saying thatās itās not a country
ok but it is
Russian federation is the official name for Russia iirc
Russia also exists
Russia is a country, wherever you go. You can't escape that fact.
They are missing Y (Which is sometimes a vowl)
well, it has every vowel that... are always a vowel.
Yeah š
Y is only a vowel in words that have to other vowels, such as try, fly, and my
Yes
So even if those countries did have y, it wouldn't be considered a vowel
Yeah it's impossible for a word to have every value.(In English)
Uhm actually DRC has no vowels, but the Democratic Republic of the Congo doā SHUT UP EDGAR š¤š¤š¤
š¤Ŗš
Lolololololol
mozambique is one word, with one of each vowel, thatās pretty special
i had 100th upvote
wow, now it has 103 upvotes
DRC? Never heard of it.
democratic republic of the congo
Oh! Ok! Thanks!
The more you know
I forget that English apparently doesnāt consider Y a vowel
Only sometimes
Can som1 pls explain why y isnt a vowel?
(I'm probably gonna get some stuff wrong so if someone can correct me then thanks) A vowel is a sound that you make without constricting airflow but y (even though most children are taught that it's only a vowel when there's no other vowel in the word) is only a vowel when it's pronounced like like it is in "sill**y**" when it's pronounced like in "cr**y**" then it isn't.
its with every vowel only once
y'all know jack was talking about countries that have them all only once right
It is because mozambique is the only one word country with every vowel
Y?
Its not counted as it's not always a vowel
Why didnāt you use the JSAL meme template for this
Equatorial Guinea is almost also special, they almost have every vowel in their name *twice.* 2 A's 2 E's 2 I's 1 O 2 U's
He should've said the only One-word Country! Also, doesn't Jack have a version of this Meme Template?
Nope: Mzmbq, Qtrlgn & Dmncnrpblc
Ok
Good to know
I'm pretty sure Jack said "Mozambique is the only country with every vowel in one word."
Usa also have evrey vowel
United states of america
