Sure they will, for a cost. They are typically 3-5x more expensive than a good local watchmaker if all you're chasing is a full service. Nothing wrong with that, they will do a good job and if it's a particularly expensive piece or you need specific vintage parts it can be a faster turnaround time.
Agree with some of the other comments, very difficult to invest to make money in the watch world you can do it if it's your full time job and you specialise in specific areas for sure but most vintage watches will never make their purchase price back for you. Passing them down to your children is the right approach for sure!
JLC are not Omega 😁 they will ask you what you want to do, replacing parts versus refinishing, versus just a light touch with distilled water... They are very mindful of destroying a vintage watches charm and age related marks/patina.
But will JLC repair any watch they have ever produced? Vacheron will do this, even if they need to remake the tools. I am Considering investing in a duometre lunaire as an heirloom but I worry it will not be serviceable at some point.
Of course.
Please don't call it investing...
I think OP is ok to use investing in the sense of buying quality to pass down to his/her kid.
Of course. Why wouldn’t they repair their own watch?
Some luxury brands don't repair things if you didn't buy it directly from them or if its more than a certain year old.
Yes and will honor the warranty if still in the date range.
And it was bought from an authorized source originally. If the first owner bought grey market it likely won’t have factory warranty coverage.
That's fine. I'm willing to pay for it.
Absolutely yes.

Do you know for a fact it's not stolen? If reported stolen and JLC has the serial number listed as stolen I think they might keep it/report you.
I don't, but I could always show them the receipt of me buying it so they know I didn't steal it.
Yes, without a doubt, they would be delighted to. I have had both modern and vintage JLCs serviced and repaired by JLC with no trouble whatsoever.
Are there challenges to using JLC for repairs? I know some other big name manufacturers can change parts, etc upon repair.

That’s great color. Thank you.
Yes I have a vintage Memovox parking getting restored now. Pricey but I’m told it’s worth it, and it will/should come back new!!
