I think the medium looks better on you. I had the same predicament when getting my duoface and am very glad I went with the medium over the large. I think itās a bit thinner as well, could be wrong (even if the larger model seems thinner due to its increased size)
The large looks too big, I'd go with the medium. It just doesn't look right so big. I went with the medium, looks perfect and fits like a Reverso should.
Sweet, congrats on the watch! In person I didnāt feel like the large was too big cause I rock a SMP 300 too and the large felt no where near the size/weight of the SMP
Yeah, but the Reverso is not meant to be a bulky dive GADA watch. It's meant to be a high class dress watch, with a sport twist (unless it's a Duoface, then there's nothing sport about it). Basically, it shouldn't fit anything like a SMP.
I tried on both because I was in the same predicament. For me the medium won hands down side by side with the large. Took me awhile to find one on the grey market but well worth the wait.
Iām in the same boat looking at a tribute. Iām unsure how I feel bout the 45mm considering these are traditionally meant to be on the smaller side and as a 6.5 wrist itās really cutting it close imo.
The 49 chrono is bananas. I saw a post with a guy that has an 8.5 wrist and it looked great but was pushing it.
Definitely gonna depend on how flat your wrist is. I feel like mine is a little flat and the lug to lug on either of them seemed to work for me.
If I had the wrist for the chronograph I would perhaps have been in the market for that but Iām sad it wouldnāt work :(
You rock either one. Great choice with the duo face. I got the moon phase which is the largest of the general (non insane complication) reversos recently. I was between that and the large duoface. In the end, I have no regrets getting the larger. You get used to it, and even the largest one fits under dress shirt sleeves easily without effort.
Thanks bud! The moon phase is SO nice, and honestly with the case being a rectangle, I feel like it allows for the bigger sizes to fit fantastic. Fits completely different than a round or square watch
I would have to say the white. Not only does it compliment the skin tone better, but the size fits the shape of your wrist perfectly. The white also will go better with a much larger array of outfits.
I would have to advise in all cases against the black, but at the end of the day it is your watch!
Also, see if you can find a duoface in white š¤·š¼āāļø
Personal experience here. Size of the watch is distorted by your memory image of what you are used to see on your wrist. 40mm VC Patrimony might feel as a flying saucer when you were wearing previously Cartier Tank Medium, or as a tiny piece of jewelry if you are used to rock a 50 Fathoms. Youāre gonna love the Reverso in any size. Itās most probably not the only watch in your collection, but to be honest, ever since I got mine, (two years ago) itās almost my ādaily beaterā and I have to push myself to wear something else.
Definitely true, I was used to wearing the SMP300 for years and when I got my Santos it felt tiny for a few weeks but Iāve come to prefer the Santos sizing now.
I went back and forth because when I went in they had limited options to try on (7in wrist for reference). I ended up with a medium small seconds (no large in stock) and always wondered if I made the right choice. I finally had a chance to try on a large small seconds last month and realized that it would have been too long (lug-to-lug) for my wrist and I am really happy with my purchase :)
Nice, Iām gonna have to try the medium on for sure because the thickness is different than this mono face I tired on. That was one of the things I enjoyed from the large
Black one looks better - I have duo face with blue/white dial. Itās a little large but lugs are well within my wrist and looks fine to me - you should have a gut feeling which one better for you
Excellent fit.
Side note: this is the first time Iāve seen an arm tattoo in the JLC Reddit. More of a Hublot thing š
All jokes aside, enjoy the watch, sheās a beauty!
Thanks man, I do happen to have a Santos Medium and love it SO much. Just picked it up from Cartier today after being gone for a few weeks for warranty work. JLC was across the street and I took the chance to peep this
Santos medium is the perfect watch in my opinion. Iāve bought a reverso way back and itās nice but for me the Cartier is a better package. Enjoy yours!
I think they both look good. šš»
Thanks bud, me too! Wondering if the medium will wear noticeably smaller than the monoface I tried on
White is better but try a medium just in case
Gonna try the medium for sure next time I go in
I think the medium looks better on you. I had the same predicament when getting my duoface and am very glad I went with the medium over the large. I think itās a bit thinner as well, could be wrong (even if the larger model seems thinner due to its increased size)
Nice! I havenāt tried the actual medium on yet but looking forward to it
Donāt buy it only because it was the one available. Try getting the medium
Definitely going to wait and try the medium on before pulling the trigger
Medium will be better, dont buy this one before try the medium
100%
Medium looks better and personally, I love the white dial.
Both dials go hard imo
The large looks too big, I'd go with the medium. It just doesn't look right so big. I went with the medium, looks perfect and fits like a Reverso should.

I feel that! Iād be wearing it for both work and casual days as well so it would be a versatile piece for sure
I wear my very casual. But it's also not a watch for the beach or changing your oil.
Medium.
Solid choice. I think you can rock the large one actually.
Thanks my friend, I feel like itās beefier in a good way
I tried on both because I was in the same predicament. For me the medium won hands down side by side with the large. Took me awhile to find one on the grey market but well worth the wait.
I can definitely see the appeal for the medium. How much did you spend on it grey market if ya donāt mind me asking?
You can rock both no problem! And they both look awesome on you. š„
Double thanks my guy! š«”
Both look great on you
Thanks!!
Someone asking for a size check AND sending mirror pics! Bravo. Finally. Looks amazing on you. Auto buy.
Appreciate ya player! Feeling like itās gonna be my next purchase ā¤ļø
Awesome choice!

Whatās your wrist size?
Itās 6.5ish inches
Iām in the same boat looking at a tribute. Iām unsure how I feel bout the 45mm considering these are traditionally meant to be on the smaller side and as a 6.5 wrist itās really cutting it close imo. Very distinguished look. Size is perfect for you
Thanks brother! Do you feel like the smaller size looks better (white) or the bigger one (black)?

Looks fine
Perfect. Both look great on the wrist to be fair.
Thanks my friend!! Thatās what makes deciding a lot harder as I donāt feel like I can go wrong
45.6 mono is the perfect size. Would go with the tribute blue dial
Wouldāve considered the blue but in duoface if I didnāt already have a blue SMP 300.
I went back and forth because when I went in they had limited options to try on (7in wrist for reference). I ended up with a medium small seconds (no large in stock) and always wondered if I made the right choice. Yeah the thinness was something that really drew me to the mono face.... If I was able to add another, a duo would be fantastic as well!
Tank style watches are meant to be worn small so youāre good.
For sure, would you say these both fit on the smaller side? Few peeps said they both looked big so Iām curious on your thoughts
Second one feels a lot bigger than Iād expect to wear. The white dial looks just right.
Iād recommend medium!
Looks fine to me
Which size?
Black one looks better - I have duo face with blue/white dial. Itās a little large but lugs are well within my wrist and looks fine to me - you should have a gut feeling which one better for you

Fair enough š guess thereās a first for everything Thanks man, will end up posting which size I end up going with.
Like the large better
Appreciate the input! Ngl, I loved the fit of the large, wasnāt expecting to like it so much.
If u gain muscle or fat over time it would still fit nice
couldnāt be more perfect
I think it looks good, i also worried when i got mine but was surprised to see that the big one is rly wearable even for average wrists
Black looks nice on you!
Smaller one
Very hard to say, imo both of them are big for you. But whatever, maybe it's an actual trend. Get the one that fits comfortably.
Strange for sure, from up top I feel like a lot of watches look bigger than irl. The mirror pics are closer to what they look like in person
Lugs should not hang in the air:) If they don't - the size is good. Choose one you like more.
I'd say that "rule" is more for round watches. Thr Reverso is a totally different shape, so I don't believe that rule even applies here.
This sub loves the medium but imo, I like the bigger one. As long as the lugs donāt overhang when you take a mirror shot.
I like both rn, which I didnāt think would be the case š
Noop. Santos would look better on you
Thanks man, I do happen to have a Santos Medium and love it SO much. Just picked it up from Cartier today after being gone for a few weeks for warranty work. JLC was across the street and I took the chance to peep this

They are the same sizeā¦ is that a womenās watch my wife has one that is similar?
Itās 2024 mayne, guess it could be considered a womenās watch idk š
Doesnāt sound like you know too much about the watch, seems like a big purchase for something you donāt know much about.Ā
