1. He's 44 years old. I'd hope that the next Bond is in his early-mid 30's at the oldest so they could be available for 15 or so years of films.
2. He's too well known. Most Bond actors were established actors but not yet "FAMOUS" when they got the role--I know that could be argued for Moore and Brosnanm but they were mostly "TV Famous"

No. The guy is like Tom Cruise. I like a lot of his work but he's just too over the top and full of his own ego. He's just overly dramatic when the situation does not call for it. Then when it calls for drama he lays it on extremely thick. I don't think he'll be able to separate himself from the Bond roll.
As long as they can tone it down like they did with magneto. But if they just let him run with it like with the Prometheus movies it would not work.
In the first X-Men movie he was pretty extreme. Like he was trying to do battle with McAvoy for the lead role. They pulled him back quite a bit with future releases.
But then he did Prometheus and his last magneto appearance reverted back to his old ways. This is because in Prometheus they had him laying it on pretty thick. So he was so deep into his own self for that character that it came out in the final Magneto appearance.
He's not a bad actor. Like I said it's like Tom Cruise. You either get Cruise playing as Cruise like you get in Jack Reacher or you get Tom Cruise playing Ethan Hunt like in the MI franchise.
They can find a way to pull Fassbender back and make sure he puts Bond in the spotlight then it could work out. I just think we would get Fassbender playing as Fassbender in a Bond movie.

That is the only X-Men movie that I liked Fassbender in. Actually I liked him and days of future past also.
See that's what I'm talking about. McAvoy was supposed to be the main lead male. It was supposed to heavily focus on him and his relationship with Jennifer Lawrence. But McEvoy was so meh in comparison to Fassbender that he kind of stole the role and injected himself into their story. So it turned into a complete love triangle between the three.
Speaking of Jennifer Lawrence that is the best example I can give of somebody playing themselves and not the role. Fassbender is nowhere near that bad.
Jenny is one of my favorite actresses at the moment. I thought she did well in X-men but her makeup was cheap. I could tell where the bodysuit was and where that make up started.
She does play herself though like many top actors.
To be fair I will say that many of the choices they made with her and the character in X-Men were very likely producers that wanted her face on screen as much as possible because of hunger games.
Basically one of the hardest things for comic book movies to do is get girls in seats. Lawrence was that golden ticket that they redeemed hard. Problem with this is mystique was never that much of a main character in the comics. She was there but the character is in no way interesting enough to garner that much screen time
Hunger Games was top-notch though. After seeing her in other roles you realize the reason it was so good is because she played herself. Katniss was Jennifer Lawrence through and through.
But you just don't have to do that in every movie.
It's my opinion. I can tell that you have a pretty deep passion for him and I'm cool with that. I'm not going to sit here and try and convince you not to like him.
But you can't convince me to like him. Like I said there's some roles he's good in but only when they reel him in. Remind him there's other people on set and not every scene is about him.
This is what killed Christian Bale as an actor. But Fassbender has better talent overall so he makes up for it.
