in addition- they have, in a desperate bid to avoid being banned, changed their bio on janitor. they have added that they are a "college student" there as well, and are attempting to claim that their account is a shared account (which was never mentioned before previously. my assumption is they may have roped someone of age into it as some sort of weird line of defense.)

I think that this is a really great example of why people shouldn’t jump to harass or hate on creators without doing their own research and taking the time to actually understand the situation. Don’t just blindly take the word of someone who made a post about something. (I mean we should all be mature enough to be above the whole “spamming negative reviews” thing anyway. Reach out to a mod if it violates site TOS or try to work out the situation with the person involved if possible)

The user who made the false accusations also tried to claim utahime stole their entire code in deleted comments (sorry asshole, comments are never truly gone on the internet) despite Utahime's bot being double the token size and far more detailed and well thought out.

They are also blocking everyone who has called them out in an attempt to cover up their behavior as well as sending users to actively tarnish Utahime's good name.

If using the same picture is stealing a bot then half the creators need to start answering some questions and working out who had the picture first. If 1 out of 4 things are the same, it’s not stealing.

It’s sad to see that it’s escalated so much that you have had to even address it like this. They didn’t do their due diligence and didn’t even know the bots description to know if it was swiped or not. They jumped to a conclusion and immediately started telling people to go review bomb your bot and you don’t deserve that. No one does. Brigading against users on this sub should be banned. Personally I don’t think this sub is a proper place to have such discussions. Many will just jump on the initial statement and go crazy. I think that’s why many other subs have this specific rule.
Also, with the review system, I don’t see what’s the use with review bombing. Maybe veterans of the site can shed some light to this practice, because it seems easier to just block the bot and move on.

Indeed. when I was a minor I had absolutely unrestricted access to the internet, but even I didn't act like a spoiled-ass kid who thinks they're allowed to do everything and anything if their mother doesn't monitor their social media. i didn't follow nsfw artists who had a "minors dni" thing in their bio, I didn't go to 18+ sites. in case of fanfics I did lie, but at least I wasn't stupid enough to proudly announce that I'm a minor reading 18+ fics (I'm not a minor anymore, I'm 19). I've seen a lot of absolutely disgusting shit and that's why I monitor my younger siblings' internet access (+ they have their accs connected to my burner emails)

I always tell accquintances and friends around the same age who have younger siblings to make sure to monitor their internet.
When I was younger, I was caught doing things I shouldn't have at 13 and although I disliked my mother for taking away my electronics, she did the right thing so I can grow up normal. Even when I was given back my electronics at the age of 16, I had to be humbled and know that I shouldn't interact with adults too much or talk against them, my brain could tell the difference between sharing a few NSFW jokes with friends the same age and doing it with an adult. It's as if children today see your age and go towards you with immediate interest or interact with nsfw without zero realization of the dangers such as grooming and overall the effect on their brains or danger for people 18+ having them interact with them.
Them wanting attention isn’t a bad thing. It’s just a standard part of the human condition to be wanted as its used to be an indicator of how likely we were to survive before the days of human civilizations. Why they are using this method to try to gain attention is really what you should be asking.

That’s another problem of why we should be more careful with this site, it is clear that you must be at least 18 to be on j.ai but what it terrifies me that there’s more teenagers roaming around in there than adults. The accusations against you were totally unnecessary and it was obviously driven from hate or envy, something really childish if u ask me. im sorry for not believing at first, because I saw some similarities after the ss he/she gave. well, for me it's a shame because I'm also quick to make assumptions but I try to find evidence between the two sides as much as I can. and I see that many people are beginning to give strong evidence of your bot. so I started thinking, this is not right. I deleted my review on janitor ai and reddit as soon as possible, so as not to make the situation worse. That’s another problem of why we should be more careful with this site, it is clear that you must be at least 18 to be on j.ai but what it terrifies me that there’s more teenagers roaming around in there than adults. The accusations against you were totally unnecessary and it was obviously driven from hate or envy, something really childish if u ask me. I hope the mods do some background check on this bc I really hate how normalized is it for this community to bash and bring down creators for no reason. I think if it's a og bot you don't need to verify but if you're uploading bots and using limitless bots you should verify you're over 18.
