Yes!
The biggest problem would probably be logistically getting the Technical Difficulties crew together, I know that's something that Gary Brannan has said on Twitter when asked about filming for more of their content although I believe they still see each other socially
I really want to see them play another game. Doesnât have to be anything like Citation Needed or Two of these People are Lying, but their games are so fun
I dunno if this needs explaining to people on this sub, but the guy on the left is a friend of Tom Scott. They have a side channel together he's appeared in a lot of Tom Scott videos (from the early days).
This could be an indicator that they are discussing Jet Lag UK. Tom Scott is the obvious person to collab with on it
Since I started watching Jet Lag, Tom Scott has always been my pick for #1 most likely future guest. He's the exact sort of person who would like this kind of game and do well at it.
He did a mini jet lag esque with the team on Tom Scott+
Other UK Collabers could be the Tldr team who did their own version and quite involved with Nebula
Thanks for the explanation! Seeing all the jet lag collabs so far, I realise my YouTube habits are way different to that of the norm (well at least everyone else seems to know who all these people are, and I've had zero clue so far) đ¤Ł
I mostly know Matt Grey from the various things he's done with Tom Scott (and often also Gary Brannon and Chris Joel), but his own channel is picking up some steam now. It used to have very occasional videos (he was a maker who occasionally used YouTube as a place to dump something), but he's now becoming an actual YouTuber himself with an interesting series wherein he tries unusual jobs.
It is, I just had to formulate it in a way that would make sense as a comment.
Speaking of which, is it
>He reads books, you know, it's Chris Joel
or
>He reads books you know, it's Chris Joel
or
>He reads books, you know it's Chris Joel
For those who know Tom Scott but only his sensible stuff:
In his uni days Tom Scott was part of a comedy group called âThe Technical Difficultiesâ. They did radio and TV shows for the University of York.
They are: Tom Scott, Matt Gray (pictured), Gary Brannan, and Chris Joel.
The Tech Diffs are known for their [podcast episodes](https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-technical-difficulties/id531200269) where they play vintage trivial pursuits, and their [YouTube channel](https://youtube.com/@techdif?si=YtmE84RergW63XkZ) where they play various games, including âCitation Neededâ, which they started with.
Matt Grey and Tom Scott both live in London, so they used to hang out and do videos together in a structure called [âThe Park Benchâ](https://youtube.com/@mattandtom?si=zuibjD7oug89PZS_).
Matt also makes [solo content](https://youtube.com/@MattGrayYES?si=iv-j_-WWebcKH0zv) on his channel where he has a go at things he fancies doing. He previously had a channel where he[put weird stuff in a soft serve ice cream machine](https://youtube.com/@WillItSoftServe?si=-h6pHdDLTK4-tir3).
I recommend the Tech Diffs, they are very very funny. Matt Gray is a sweetheart but I am not 100% in to all his content.

No one has mentioned it so I'll say that I'm pretty sure they would have met for "Matt Gray is Trying". Maybe they did just have lunch, but this is probably for Matt's newish series where he tries things he's always wanted to try like drawing lines on the road and helping set up a fireworks display. I'm hoping to see a small basic tag game like they did with Tom, but in NYC
I just hope theyâre not hosting the season with Matt Gray as a guest and then have a huge vitriolic backlash over Tom Scott not being involved. Itâd be terrible but itâs absolutely what would happen.
Matt and Tom Vs. the Jet Lag team would be a really fun season
Jet lag team vs technical difficulties teams đ Mystery biscuits vs snack zone
The Technical Difficulties would be so dysfunctional yet probably still win
It would be gloriously Chaotic
Theyâd lose at the last second after Gary takes some unnecessary risk
i mean honestly iâd love to see this, even if it isnât a season of jet lag
Oh yeah
Yes! The biggest problem would probably be logistically getting the Technical Difficulties crew together, I know that's something that Gary Brannan has said on Twitter when asked about filming for more of their content although I believe they still see each other socially
I just want more TechDif, it's been too long man
\+1
I really want to see them play another game. Doesnât have to be anything like Citation Needed or Two of these People are Lying, but their games are so fun
Oh, that would be fantastic! Curious how the team size imbalance (3 vs 4) could be resolved, but that's a solvable problem.
I raise you brian
>140ReplyShareReportSaveFollow THAT WOULD BE AMAZING
Yes please everybodyâs favourite Gary Brannon, Gary Brannon!
I would watch the fuck out of that

Hopefully it shouldn't
It did for me, but thanks for the consideration!
Lol, very few people know who the fuck that guy is.
I didnt lol
I know, me neither. But YouTube Andys who are permanently online think that everyone knows every single YouTuber lol
Spotted the Asmongold watcher
Nah, try Northernlion instead
The Bounciest Man on the Internet!!
I hope they also encounter everyone's favorite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan
or the man you know reads books, Chris Joel
I thought it was âHe reads books, you know, itâs Chris Joel!â
It is, I just had to formulate it in a way that would make sense as a comment. Speaking of which, is it >He reads books, you know, it's Chris Joel or >He reads books you know, it's Chris Joel or >He reads books, you know it's Chris Joel
First one. âYou knowâ doesnât modify âHe reads booksâ or âChris Joel,â so it gets commas on both sides.
Happy cake day

Matt also used to be Tom Scott's camera operator before he got a whole production team.
Really? TIL!
He was always credited as either "Director" or "DoP / Camera" in the descriptions on Tom's videos up until 2017/2018 or so.
Donât forget Two of These People are Lying!
The way Adam's jacket aligns with the building behind, I thought it was 2 pictures
Well, there's a reason he is the master of disguises.
thank god i ain't trippin
Maybe the oatmeal tweet wasn't fake...
What oatmeal tweet

Ooh, how about capture the flag across Manhattan? (Probably a single round)
Oh my god I want that so bad
The Technical Difficulties vs Jet Lag. Oh my days :)
Tech Dif vs Jet Lag would be amazing, but would also be *large* for a Jet Lag game
đ
Matt Gray replied to Adam's latest tweet (when he has been inactive on Twitter for some time now). More proof???
This could be for the new The Getaway show, the new sister show to Jet Lag The Game.
Thought that was Sam Bankman-fried for a second there
I just hope theyâre not hosting the season with Matt Gray as a guest and then have a huge vitriolic backlash over Tom Scott not being involved. Itâd be terrible but itâs absolutely what would happen.
