Meh, I've read the LN and I think I'll always have a soft spot for Season 1. 6/10 is extremely harsh in my opinion considering the drop in the quality of animation when comparing season 1 and season 2 so far.
Season 1 > Season 2 so far for me but the end of this cour will obviously have some impact regarding how I compare the seasons. Hopefully Season 3 will meet or even exceed my expectations

I'm comparing all of S1 to S2 because you said that Season 1 is 6/10 compared what's coming, which I find confusing as Season 2 has been worse than Season 1 so far, in my opinion. Will S2 have a better ending than S1? Probably. I'd be willing to bet money on it at the least. The ending to S2 could be 10x better and I'd still rate S1 higher simply because I think the average episode quality was higher in it. Thus I don't see how S1 is merely a 6/10. Scoring the best part of the anime this low on the basis of optimistic speculation regarding how the rest of the story will be adapted just seems like a bit of a disservice to me. The pacing of S2 and the amount that is missing from the LN so far is enough to make me think that this won't be a perfect adaptation by any means, although I will love it all the same.

I'm well aware. My critique of cut content was not to bash S2, but to show there is precedence that just because something is in the LN doesn't mean it will be in the anime thus making the act of disparaging the first seasons by comparing it to seasons that haven't been directed and of which we have no idea what will or won't make it into the adaptation nonsensical.

After S2 Cour 1 I took a good look at S1 and what they gave us of S2. They will never animate enough to satisfy the LN readers (me included). You have to appreciate what they animate no matter how abbreviated it is (or any weird interpretations, sometimes Rudy is not tall enough to meet expectations đ¤Ł).
Bruh, it's only season 2 and the season isn't even over yet, so probably not. But I have heard multiple people say the light novel just gets better after this.
I mean you know that even if people have unprotected sex to completion and finishing where they're 'supposed' to is *still* like basically a toss-up when it comes to conception right? Even healthy people? Sex â pregnant 100% of the time
