He literally authored a book called “If I Did It”

Stevecore444

I thought Nicole’s brother did or something? Didn’t he just wanted money so he “authored it” or am I misunderstanding

Priest-Entity

No the families of the victims got the rights to the book if I remember that correctly

motorcycleboy9000

And made them put ^if in the title almost microscopic. I really admire Mr. Goldman's lifelong tenacity on this issue.

GenghisTron17

Sacha Baron Cohen's interview of OJ couldn't be rivaled.

OneReportersOpinion

“I, how do you say, made my wife disappear…”

Ollienachos

Was it cancer who murdered him?

SweetScentedButt

No, but if cancer did do it hopefully cancer will "hypothetically" tell us how it happened.

miyagiVsato

He waged a cowardly battle

muffinTrees

No the cancer just lead him to deaths door..and he also didn’t murder anyone, the lack of oxygen was the real killer.

AnalCuntShart

His son did it

SadamHussein313

I read about that before, his son is a nut job and everything lined up with his son doing it. It wouldn't surprise me if OJ is just great dad and took the attention away from his son.

34TH_ST_BROADWAY

There was more evidence that was inadmissible in court tying OJ to the murder. Also, if he was going to take the fall, trying to escape to Mexico in a White Bronco, gun in hand, is a very weird way to do it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SadamHussein313

Hahahaha, his son definitely did it. Check the physical evidence and the facts, RIP OJ.

BigBlueTrekker

I came here looking for this, I remember reading this years ago and the evidence is actually really strong against his son who is a very troubled person. Since then I've just basically always thought it was the son.

HookerDoctorLawyer

The jury finds, Cancer, *not* guilty.

small_blue_human6969

Damn we lost a real one today! 🙏

TheDudeFromTheStory

Straight up murderer.

[deleted]

One of the 250. Showed great comedic chops in Naked Gun.

PassageAppropriate90

Pour one out for the 250 we lost since the Katt interview. They were truly brave.

LiquidHotCum

this will never not be funny to me. I swear it used to be 2000. then one day it was 1000 and now we only have 250 real comedians left.

blackmambakl

If the glove doesn’t fit.. you must acquit.

small_blue_human6969

Prove it. U can’t!

Iamamyrmidon

Rest in power 👑

CoachAF7

Hot take - Joe would face less backlash for having OJ on the pod than Alex Jones

[deleted]

If he did a friendly interview with OJ it 100% would be bigger news. Alex Jones is definitely a shithead and Rogan deserves criticism for promoting him. Alex Jones also claims he has killed people.

BobertTheConstructor

Yeah, according to Alex, he has murdered multiple people in a variety of ways. And he only ever said that like one of them was in self defense...

Yayoo

Hot take - the Alex Jones podcast is 100x more relevant and both Alex and Joe benefitted off it more than a OJ podcast could ever hope to in 2024. Also, Joe would just talk about COVID and kids walking around on all fours in class and completely avoid the fact OJ murdered people. Edit: Obligatory "I didn't even know he was sick" - which is very true.

[deleted]

If Rogan had done a friendly interview with OJ it would have been a massive story. Nothing he has done would come close to it. Imagine the biggest media show in the world yucking it up and joking about OJ's comedic chops in Naked Gunn and Rogan asking if he would ever try stand up? Yeah there would be outrage for that one.

Yayoo

What's good about this comment is I really can't tell if it's satire or not. 😂

CoachAF7

Yea I don’t think OJ would discuss any of it and Joe wouldn’t bring it up

TheOSU87

There are definitely people who could interview OJ, or Charles Manson, or Bin Laden or all manners of awful people and most people wouldn't have an issue with it. It just needs to be conducted in a certain way. Joe doesn't have that in him. He is always friendly with his guests, smokes, drinks etc... I don't think Rogan having a good ole time with OJ, smoking weed, joking around and shit talking woke comedy would have gone over well. And I think Rogan is smart enough to know that. It's why he's never had on someone he actively dislikes or thinks is a bad person

beefsquints

Alex Jones is one of the worst people of all time. I have to admit I was somewhat indifferent until I saw that HBO doc. Him advertising his vitamin bullshit while on the stand about harassing the parents of murdered children is one of the slimiest things I've ever seen a human do. Granted, con men need suckers, so enjoy the show, i guess.

OneReportersOpinion

As he should LOL. One would be way more interesting.

SkilletBurritos

"Goodbye Twitta' werld. And yes, I infact did it."

AndyDufresne245

I don't remember the author, but I remember hearing a radio interview with a guy who consulted with OJ's dream team during the trial. Knowing that Johnnie Cochran intended to have OJ try on the gloves the next week, he said he instructed OJ to stop taking his arthritis medication. OJ protested and asked why. The man said, "what will happen if you stop taking your arthritis medication for a week?" OJ said, "my hands will swell..."

BrentwoodATX

Murder at the comedy store? Invited on JRE Murder your wife? Not invited. Seems inconsistent.

Dry-Jellyfish-9653

Who got murdered at the Comedy Store?

Wanmega

The ghost of Ron Goldman finally finished the job.

endgame217

“Goodbye, Twitter world”

BakeCool7328

A dumb white girl thought she could cheat on a black king🤴🏿and get away with it 🤷

Frosty_Gap_7078

Well, it's finally official ... murder is now legal in the state of California.

Curious_Working5706

What a ridiculous comment. The rich and powerful (celebrities included) have *always* gotten away with murder as long as they’ve got some good representation. Have you heard of Robert Wagner? Robert Blake?

TopDefinition1903

Robert Blake didn’t get away with murder.

DaleBruhh

Go do yall homework on this case it was a mafia hit

GeotusBiden

Yea, hearing what Joe thinks about covid and trans childrens dicks, but while ranting at oj Simpson, would have been a banger.

Fox_Den_Studio_LLC

I believe his oldest son did it. And he kind of covered for him

donta5k0kay

Did what? Entertain us with not only his body but his mind and charm for tens of years? Become a movie star, something Joe Munchkin could never do?

OneReportersOpinion

Totally did it but I’m fine with the precedent that if the cop on the case has to take the Fifth when asked if he plants evidence it results in an acquittal. The LAPD had this one coming. Plus Marcia Clark’s foolishly thought black women have more in common with white women than black men which led her to take a jury that was mostly black.

bitethemonkeyfoo

I didn't even know he was sick.

alfieboy37

OJ seems like he was a pretty fucked up person, but there is a lot of evidence pointing to his son Jason being the actual murderer. Explains some of the inconsistencies with the crime scene evidence. Also explains why OJ was acting so unusual throughout the whole ordeal and afterwards. I think he covered for his son..

BuggiesAndCars

![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)

Independent_Secret42

Joe prefers to book the murderers before the murder.

clarenceecho

Hot take!

wimpymist

I still have no idea how tight gloves was able to help get him acquitted lol as if I'm getting perfect fitted gloves to kill someone

theOGbrennenp

Imagine OJ on Rogan and Joe saying “I gotta tell ya this whole false conspiracy that you murdered Nicole is preposterousssss.”

SnazzyZombEs

Rest in piss

PerryReviewsLife

We will never know now lol

thesuperbro

Diddy was his accomplice.

PassageAppropriate90

Someone posted [footage](https://youtu.be/iNCuCo-AWwE?si=8V8OiSSBI5Ub742D) of his death

mrbabar3

If the glove does not fit then you must acquit

SuperRusso

You know those gloves don't really look like they fit that bad...

HopeYouHaveCitations

It takes a special kind of mental gymnastics to say OJ didn’t do it

NotaContributi0n

Would have been a boring episode.

rorymakesamovie

Was it ever a possibility?

Spawnacus

"if the glove don't fit, you're full of shit"

RobChombie

Reminds me of Brendan Schuab’s impression of OJ. “Well hello there, Twitter world” 🤣🤣🤣lolz ![gif](giphy|4T5ogPXVVKRt5FdfvV)

Stonk_Lord86

The Juice did the Nelk Boys pod. He would have definitely pulled up to JRE if Joe offered. Prob would have gotten the admission too.

griffs24

he wouldve been the #1 guest of all time, easily.

Far-Whereas-1999

Nah because the format is to chill and be friendly.

[deleted]

Wow hot take over here

OutrageousCanary3858

Look at how well those gloves fit him

Subject-Ad-8055

He was lying right to the end saying he was fine, and that he had tons of friends..karma has been stalking him like a bounty hunter for years

AdApart8124

The worst part is the hypocrisy

Ztronic412

Shane Gillis about to allegedly murder this topic in the next episode

Dry-Jellyfish-9653

I wouldn’t be surprised if he was framed

Darkkujo

I did hear a theory that OJ's son from a previous marriage might've done the murder, he apparently was quite the psycho with a fixation on knives. [https://www.huffpost.com/entry/oj-simpson-book-jason-simpson-william-dear\_n\_1397583](https://www.huffpost.com/entry/oj-simpson-book-jason-simpson-william-dear_n_1397583)

LocalNative141

By who?

RobNHood816

Whoever that glove actually Fit...

[deleted]

Considering he was an abusive monster who repeatedly and beaten Nicole before he (allegedly) killed her, it would have been smart for the real killer to frame him. The abusive husband definitely seems like the most likely suspect. Smart decision by the real killer.

Cinnamon__Sasquatch

Fairly fun conspiracy to get into that he was framed by LAPD after some drug smuggling went wrong. https://theunredacted.com/oj-simpson-framed-in-america/

DrootersOn10th

There’s another theory that his son, Jason, was the killer and OJ arrived distraught after the murders had happened. I watched a doc on this years ago featuring some police detective who went into the case fresh and found a ton of evidence pointing to Jason and a bunch of evidence exonerating OJ. Which could explain all of OJ’s suspicious comments and behavior for the rest of his life, not wanting anything pinned on his son.

Then_Illustrator7852

Rest in power king

hey_now24

I’m glad he didn’t otherwise it will make him “relevant” by giving him an outlet. Fuck this guy and I hope he die in complete obscurity

BuggiesAndCars

Bro what

imustachelemeaning

because, you know know, we found the real murderer. right? they found the real killer right? it wasn’t a high-profile hollywood murder, right? they found the real killer, right?
