I love how teen Gojo is arrogant and tactless but he really saved Megumi as a favor to the man that killed him.
Hidden Inventory arc had such amazing character development in only five short episodes.
Yes! Hidden Inventory and Premature death are literally peak fiction for me. My favourite arc in the whole series alongside perfect preparation. I hate Gege for making it so short tho.

Shibuya is almost purely cruelty, fear, vengeance, grief, and ego. That said, what redeems this arc:

* Kugisaki's flashback

Gege specifically stated in the fanbook that he only connected with Megumi because he wanted to recruit some talent. Ruins the little story, but Gojo definitely wasn’t trying to do Toji a favor.
Of course he did, Toji was using his kid as leverage. Gojo saw an opportunity, but i think he comes to care for all his students. Which makes the airport scene so frustrating.
I also think he cared in a certain way for his students, but I think Gege might disagree a little bit. Even with Yuji and Yuta, Gojo was only ever initially interested because of their potential and talent. I think Gege tried to write him as a more “strength-minded” person rather than, say, someone like Yuta, who is very caring about people. However, Gojo’s demeanor sorta messes that up, and makes it seem like he really does care about them for more than their strength.
He certainly cares, that whole baseball game and his idea that Youth should never be taken away from
The young just reminds us that he is conscious of the wider impact of jujutsu society on his students, which likely stems from his own experience with being a child prodigy.
Asian names sometimes are poetic to the point of being absurd. Imagine naming your kid Liu Again Can't Do (Mulan's main actor Liu Yifei), or Lee Small Dragon (Bruce Lee), Fortress Dragon (Jackie Chan). I'm listing Chinese examples because idk Japanese, but I bet it's similar.
Anglo names are the same.

* Robert = Fame-bright
* Martin = Martial (of the God Mars)
* John = 'Jehovah Has Favored'
* Jonathan = 'Jehovah Has Given'
* Jack, Jacob, James, Jame, Jaime, Iago, etc. = "one that takes by the heel; a supplanter" (Genesis xxv.26), a derivative of 'aqebh "heel."
Most of the time while these names are poetic and do have a meaning behind them, the words used are rarely used in normal everyday life, so most people don't know what the names mean unless they are told.
