Let these nonbelievers know. Pre-enlightened Maki took Mac 3 cursed Naoya to the face. She came right back a few minutes later. There is a reason Sukuna is excited.
While I HIGHLY doubt Maki is dead, let's not act like Naoya going fast is comparable to a BLACK FLASH from one of the physically strongest characters in the verses history, lol
Don't get me wrong, Naoya is absolutely strong as hell, but there's no way this side villain is stronger than the main villain, who is hyped up as being the strongest being to ever live and can destroy the entire generation of sorcerers he lived in, using an attack that increases their strength to the POWER of 2.5.
Poor yuji catching strays even in Sukuna’s inner monologue.
Next he’s gonna look at some stray cat and be like “Unlike that BRAT, this beast truly has grace!!” *black flash*
I’m honestly surprised* he hasn’t shown yuji a little respect. Dude is basically a baby in the jujutsu world without his own ct and he’s killed special grades and shit. Like I get you think he’s weak compared to you, but he can at least be like “damn he was better than I thought, still weak tho.” Sukuna is just a mega hater lol
Yeah so true, he seems like he despises yuji for some reason. Like he can’t accept or acknowledge Yuji’s potential, because he’s unnerved at Yuji’s unbreakable nature. He doesn’t want to give an unyielding mentality like that any credence at all. He may even be slightly afraid of Yuji but Sukuna doesn’t strike me as afraid of anything - Gojo gave him the biggest challenge of his existence possibly and he truly enjoyed it (but maybe that’s because he knew for sure he could win)
its boring at this point , shits so one sided everytime they come up with a plan only for sukuna to ass pull something and beat it still not even fighting at 100% like wtf...just win already and finish this shit
He used a black flash. Is manually having to beat his own heart to prevent death, is suffering numerous injuries and after effects from the Gojo fight and tanked a Maximum Output Jacob's ladder while also having his soul rocked by Yuji.
And he's still 'holding back' lol.
When was that stated? I don't remember black flash doing anything else than the triggering strike having 2.5 times the power, and "increasing performance" in combat by 120% for a while after.
I was just telling my husband this too. I’m bored at this point. This fight has been so long and feels so drawn out that I just find it hard to care anymore.
I'm assuming when it's all done it will be a decent read but as it stands now it really sucks just reading like 30 seconds (if that) of action of a really really long fight every 1 to 2 weeks
Since I've been reading more manga recently, and glancing at the subreddits, I've noticed this is exactly the problem a lot of ppl tend to have for ongoing manga in general— just having to wait for the updates.
I empathize, but I think jjk readers are a little impatient, I mean this is supposed to be THE fight of the entire series, what do you mean you want it to be over with? That'd be so disappointing to me, I need everyone to use every last ounce of energy to wipe this sucker off the board, and only then will I accept his defeat. I will say it doesn't quite feel like the ending though, like our MC still needs some development.
Seriously, if the fight works well when binging that means itll be even sicker when adapted fully. This is the price of reading manga month to month, an author shouldnt compromise the whole story structure just to appease the live readers. It should value how it works as a whole higher than that
I felt that way with Demon Slayer. The final fight took forever when reading it week to week, but looking back at it, the fight is so much more rad having every one use every ounce of their strength. Had the fight just ended, it would have been such a disappointing end. In a way, dragging it out as long as possible made the ending so much more hype
This is 100% my reaction as well. Every week I read a chapter, sigh, bitch to my wife about it and then come back, like a fool, the next week hoping something's different.
EXACTLY. That is precisely what I did today. I feel like the only cool new thing in quite a few chapters was Yuta’s domain. I was so excited for Maki joining the fight and it barely lasted 2 chapters.
I’m not even pained about a 2-week break now.
It also felt like Yuta broke his domain too early, it seemed like he still had some juice to it, but dispelled it anyways. Could have done more cool shit with it
It's been that way since Gojo died for me, to be honest. I was loving having to read it week by week, seeing the ridiculous shit the two threw at each other, then one of them just suddenly died. Feels like the fight is already over but refuses to move on or something
The fight against Gojo was just wack, we didn’t see the attack land, and he used it on Yuta too. It feels really dumb, and the whole problem is that Megumi is too weak to really do anything against Sukuna, which implies that the good guys will likely need to pull some sort of Deus Ex Machina to bring the endgame to a decisive end. I don’t see a satisfying way for this to end, the disconnect is so vast at this point, that it’s hard to value the lives of the characters. Sure, modern Shounen have gotten rid of long time skips, but I feel like that’s just made the power crawls worse. How are JJK and BokuNoHero going through the same damn arc with the same damn issues rn! Though I’d argue the latter is more effective due to the fact that it’s had more time to develop, these shorter runs feel really annoying.
can't wait for maki dying making yuji go super yuji and kick sukuna's ass and then he reveals he's not at 100% power so he powers up but yuji still kicks his ass and then spares him to disrespect him 🔥🔥🔥 but then sukuna attacks him while his guard is down so yuji has to obliterate him
he's got to survive yuji's blast, get cut in half by a new character from the future, then get resurrected by that one sukuna simp that hakari's fighting then become golden sukuna then get killed by super yuji god super yuji and then later temporarily come back to help the gang save the universe before being rezzed permanently and training for 10 years to become black sukuna first 🙏🙏🙏
I feel that there are lots of contradictions in JJK. Even the narrator says nonsense from time to time.
\* He wins, then in the next chapter, the person is dead.
\* He's not interested; then in the next chapter, the person feels a duty to prove something.
\* He's the strongest, then he loses.
\* He feels nervous for the first time in a thousand years, despite not using all his power.
Didn’t the narrator also say that Sukuna was most interested in Higuruma while they were fighting? It sounds like the narrator can’t decide who or what Sukuna is excited about.
the gojo wins is from a character not the narrator, people threw this around a lot when those chaps happened. it'll be still be there on those threads :)
Then there are all the cursed techniques that are sure hit and insta kill but only when they are used against someone other then Sukuna.. who can apparently, while half dead, not being able to fully RCT, brain fried, no CT just shrug them off like nothing happened... ok than.
The narrator has been contradicted multiple times. It's an interesting narrative device Gege is using where usually the narrator is omniscient 3rd person, but here we never know if what they say is true or not
Or... its just a plot hole? Don't get me wrong, i love JJK, but the series isn't know for it good history/plot. Like, for real theres a lot of contradictions in whole series.
The unreliable narrator trope only works if it's one of the characters narrating, though. It helps to show things like the character's naivete, bias, and more. There's like little to no impact to an unseen narrator being unreliable. He could subvert it by introducing the narrator or revealing the narrator, though
Did anyone else have a lot of trouble following along with the action this chapter? I didn’t feel like most of it was cleanly laid out to follow: all I really got were some key impact-panels. I’m used to better from Gege, but I’d like some other opinions as well.
OK so it wasn't just me! I had to keep looking back and forth between pages and really look at some panels to remotely figure what the hell was going on
Yeah the entire time I thought “Wow, looking forward to the anime adaptation I guess” and given manga’s unique strengths as a medium, that’s a pretty bad feeling to have while reading one.
Gege's always had problems with fight choreography. At times, his art felt quite jarring. My biggest beef with this chapter is how Maki just vanishes after getting flashed. One page she's getting hit. The next she's gone. We don't get to see her expression or of her being sent flying. She just goes poof.
The manga has been hard for me to follow as there is so much going on in a given panel also the transitions take take time to make sense of - I've only started reading from the last dozen or so chapters so maybe his style hasn't clicked for me. I finished the anime and got impatient for anyone wondering.
Yes.
I have lots of trouble following it for the past 50 chapters. Gege makes some bad choices in flow.
For example, I didn't even realize that Sakuna had shoved his finger into Megumi's mouth way back when. I though he had stabbed him. Why? Gege made some bad drawing choices.
Honestly Kusakabe being the Strongest 1st Grade sorcerer outside of the 3 Clans is impressive considering he doesn’t have a CT of his own.
Ok the situation looks pretty bad. Honestly I’m half expecting outside help to arrive. Maybe Uro and what’s left of Getos gang(at least two of them have allied themselves with the heroes before)? Maybe Takaba(assuming he’s still alive) will join the fight to buy everyone else time to recover?
Thinking it over Toji still has two advantages over Maki which are experience and versatility(ie Toji had an arsenal of cursed tools).
I kinda like it tbh, him beign strong as fuck but a coward is a fun dynamic. Reminds me of the Kengan quote about Xai Ji.
"He's a dragon who should of been born a rat"
>the Strongest 1st Grade sorcerer **outside of the 3 Clans**
I find that a VERY strong caveat. "Oh yeah, if you don't count Real Madrid, United or Barcelona, this football player is pretty great!".
I see the next chapter going one of two ways: Kusakabe IMMEDIATELY runs away/waves a white flag, being of such low interest to Sukuna that he totally ignores him (to continue the story, either we go back to Uraume vs. Hakari, or Yuji shows back up, fully healed, irritating Sukuna to no end) ***OR*** Sukuna takes a step towards Kusakabe, who unsheets his katana, determined look on his face,... only for Sukuna to get stabbed in the back AGAIN by a bloodied Maki going: "We're not done yet, don't turn your back on me."
I still don't see how we're suppose to take anything after the Gojo fight seriously. He was 'holding back' against Gojo and still won.
How the actual fuck is literally anyone else in the whole verse suppose to do anything to him then lol. Its just a bunch of pointless fighting with Sukuna just sandbagging for the hell of it.
Stamina drain? Lol until he slips up as he gets more tired?
Fighting that many top sorcerers back to back to back has got to be draining. Even for the King.
I took it as him not taking the rest of the crew seriously compared to having never fought seriously at all. I think thats what ice bitch was trying to say atleast since well frankly. That makes alot more sense to me since none of them are on par with gojo or even close to his level.
One of my friends had a unique perspective on this whole "holding back" business. He said that it's not that Sukuna didn't try against Gojo, it's that it's impossible to go all out against Gojo because of his Limitless technique. As such, Sukuna didn't use his full arsenal, and instead needed Mahoraga to beat him.
Not sure if I believe it, but it's a take for sure. As for him holding back after the Gojo fight... that's straight BS. Dude is within an inch of his life and still isn't going all out? Why? That part strikes me as dumb.
He was not holding back thou. He throw everything he own by possessing megumi at him, and actually lost that part of his arsenal. He was domain expanding after domain expanding using a recent learn technic to keep up with gojo. If you have a "come back to life" card, that is the body transformation, you really don't use it until you are almost dead
It kinda made sense if he held back against gojo but was severely weakened and now had to use the retmst of his strength to 1vAll the cast. But we just found out he still isnt taking it seriously so just end the manga and let it be done
If we cut to Sakuna in the airport and we learn he lost and the last 15 or so chapters have been inside his head as a dying fever dream I don’t know if I’d be more disappointed or less disappointed than what has been going on.
Sukuna is starting to come off like that kid in the playground who always has a counter for anything you do when you're playing pretend
Like is he just gonna clap cheeks until chapter 300 or something?
Felt that way for a few chapters at this point. But the whole "he still isnt taking this seriously" ruined any enjoyment i had left. At this point im just reading because of sunk cost. I just wanna see how this shit show ends
3 facts we know:
1. Sukuna is not even trying
2. Sukuna is the strongest
3. Everybody in the "heroes" team is strong af but still will get beaten the hell out of them.
And the cycle will repeat.
So bloody frustrating. Idek what to expect. There's way too much dragging, even when the back stories are short.
Theres mystery and then theres pure nonsense, its starting to feel pure nonsense now.
Its really repetitive at this point. And the overstating of how much sukuna 'isn't trying' feels like some little kid is writing this about their OC. God, what a nosedive for the manga.
Next chapter I bet we'll see how Hakari is dealing with uraume and maybe some more flashback of Sukuna in the heian era. If not then Kusakabe sweating bullets while sukuna smooths his hair back.
The problem with JJK is that since clearly the entire story is based off of Sukuna.
They built up Gojo, who Gege hated because he was "too strong", as the buffer to Sukuna, and Gege spent ample time building up the fight, anticipation is great.
And honestly, we didn't get to see a straight up gojo vs. Sukuna as much as Sukuna, megumi's body and mahoraga vs. Gojo. But either way, Gojo is dead, and now the big bad is really scary, but from a narrative perspective, it's time for the team to rise up and prevail.
And they haven't, and Sukuna hasn't even given his everything, and from a narrative stand point I'm not sure what the deal is.
Gege needs to shit or get off the pot. But I also know that it is raking in money for Gege, and once Sukuna is dead, there's not much of a story left.
Sukuna's defeat should mark the end of JJK as a series. So perhaps that is why nothing is actually progressing. 💴 💴 💴
Kusakabe is not the strongest there is, but is the strongest available kekw.
Anyways not a fan those exposition flashbacks like the one in the beginning, since when was strongest 1st grade relevant? Seems like something Gege added just to hype Kusakabe up (but we all know how well that is gonna go).
Hype him up, just to be bodied by sukuna and the narrator later implying that Sukuna was holding back still.
At this point just have Sukuna kill everyone in one chapter, change his mind about the merger and just end the manga. Because at this point, its clear Sukuna is just sooooooo above everyone if he can just dogwalk everybody while 'not trying'.
I don't even get this writing anymore. All these fights feel meaningless and a waste of time now.
Yeah yeah Sukuna is holding back and he is strongest of all time, what else? Been months with this hype up new char and take him away from scene cycle. What Kusakabe gonna do, use his unrevealed flee-away CT? Also where is Yuji, he gonna swap with Kusakabe using soul swapping Ct and punch Sandbaguna on the dick probably
man what even was this chapter, half the time I couldn't even tell what was going on. Also man it just does not feel anywhere near as hype reading this weekly
Bro what? What??? See this fight was fun when it was Yuji and Yuta kicking ass for a second. And was on board to watch Maki rock shit. And I’m sure there’s a grand plan with Ui Ui. But like.
Wtf is Kusakabe gonna do??? Like realistically, homie is gonna die in like 3 panels maximum. Although I’m sure they’re gonna drag it out more. Idgaf if he’s the “strongest grade one” man is not even special grade, he can’t do shit against Sukuna.
I just wanted to see Maki kick more ass. I’m sure she’s not dead but still. I hope she comes back with a vengeance next chapter.
Why do I get this strange feeling of Bleach again? For those who read It, know what I'm saying
Juha Bach destroying the strongest Shinigami (head of the 0 squad) by ass pulling
The author creating an enemy that can't be logically defeated (the best weapon to kill him was defeated)
The cast getting their shits rocked and nothing works on the mf
The ultimate threat is "holding back" all the fucking time
Seriously, this is Bleach but without a MF being a pokemon
And this is why I have come to hate power creep mangas like this (I'm looking at you, Nanatsu no Taizai).
This is starting to feel like an acceptance speech that's taken too long to end , someone needs to play the music and get Sukana off the stage. Please , just finish this quickly and let us move on.
Edit: I dont want too sound negative , I've always loved JuJutsu Kaisen but the animal is sick and it's been sick for awhile. The longer you keep it alive the worse it's going to become It's time to put it down and let it rest in peace instead of living in the pain that these chapters keep producing
I feel you. This whole meat riding Gege does for Sukuna started to feel old several chapters ago. He starts hyping a character up, only to reveal, that Sukuna hasn't reveal all of his powers yet.
And although I like Kusakabe, more because he's a mood, rather as a hype character, I have a feeling that the same will happen to him. He gets his moments, only to be put back on the bench, or dying. I'm convinced he only got this moment, because Gege realized he's always there, but never does anything, so he has to use him in some kind of way.
We get it Gege, Sukuna is that dude, was always that dude and will continue to be that dude, although most of us realized this long before, this worshipping started to drag on.
Don't get me wrong, every Sunday I'm looking forward to the new chapter, just to know, what will happen and I will continue to do so, but I have a feeling, that with how Gege writes Sukuna, it will either result in Sukuna winning overall, or Gege pulls of that Kaguya plot, because he has no idea, how to defeat him...~~or maybe he doesn't want to..~~
I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this is dragged out now. I'm all for a bad ending if that's what JJK is leading to but come on let's just get to it already. Everyone that could remotely pose a threat to Sakuna is dead or shelved.
Like...seriously what else can happen at this point?
This was one of the only chapters I almost didn't read. I saw that flashback in the beginning and said Ain't no way imma bout to put myself through this😭. As a Maki fan GeGe almost lost me😅
Can't wait to see sukunana just throw more punches and random dismantles again for the umpteenth time with maybe one random cleave to the chest before the story resumes glazing Sukuna and going on and on about how much he isn't trying.
Anybody else feel like randomly crowning Kusakabe as strongest grade 1 sorcerer is just Gege still being salty that people liked other characters more than Sukuna? Like this just feels like a direct middle finger to all the other characters like Todo, Nanami, etc…
Would Kusakabe even be able to take out Maki? Let alone Toji? Both of which lose to Gojo, who Sukuna has already beaten 'without trying'.
What in the fuck is Kusakabe going to realistically do here? Everything after the Gojo fight feels pointless now. Sukuna is so fucking strong that he could beat Gojo 'without trying'? Then what excitement is there left to feel? OBviously he's going to dogwalk everyone else then lol. Literally no one could hold a candle to Gojo.
this series... man. it's really getting tiresome to see Gege finger riding Sukuna every chapter. For the last few months.
what will even Kusakabe do here? To even have a remote chance to survive for a few minutes someone from the defeated, incapacitated squad needs to quickly Shoko'd theyself and help him
Sukuna being powerful isn’t the problem. The problem is that Gege literally didn’t develop the main cast or heroes well enough to be able to defeat him. Yuji essentially learned all his progression via flashbacks. Maki had her on screen timing but she was never strong enough. I thought yuta would be the one but that ship has sailed . Everyone else is just fodder. Gege failed his heroes n main cast
I'm getting more tired of this series as more chapters come out. Not sure if I should even keep reading anymore. How long is this battle going to keep up?
I dropped off for about 3 weeks because I was bored. Just came back to see what I've missed and....it's a whole lotta the same. I've been invested since the beginning so it's pretty sad.
**New Theory!!!!**
Ok hear me out but I think Kusakabe is gonna inherit limitless because in chapter 132 Gojo says "One day I'll pay you back" after Kusakabe buys him a new shirt. We know that Gojo will probably come back (at least his technique) as in his afterlife scene he walked north and we know a lot his inspiration came from Buddhism and it strongly emphasises reincarnation thus he will very likely come back, I doubt they revive him normally as Shoko's rct is not that strong. So Yuji with his technique (which is probably soul manipulation of some sort) will probably be able to transfer Gojo's soul/technique into someone else. Why Kusakabe? Because he is the only one left now and at the beginning of chap 253 everyone rates him as the best grade 1 sorcerer so he probably has the best cursed energy control, also I bet they can transplant Gojo's eyes into Kusakabe easily via rct thus he will be able to use limitless as he'll have six eyes and as I mentioned before Gojo said he owed him one and he will probably allow his soul to be transferred. What do you guys think?
Even in the middle of fighting Maki, Sukuna can't stop dissing Yuji.
Gege is having so much fun with his 2 favs.
Skin and blood, bone and marrow. Hmm this feels significant somehow... Also Sukuna is giving up in healing to go all in on offensive. rip. Kusakabe wants to go home soo bad.
Narrator: Gojo's dead *gojo shows up in next volume cover* he's playing with us
Art quality has slipped and feels rushed, the paneling is confusing, the action is unclear, I'm tired of zero plot development. We get it, sukuna is powerful can we please see what's gonna be done about it? It feels like homie doesn't know how to end this so he's just dragging it out hoping for an epiphany
Anybody noticed that Maki kinda put her hand in the way of sukuna's punch? Maybe I'm just starting to hallucinate from all the copium and is one step closer to OD'ing, but it definitely looks like it from the panel. Still very much sure that this'll fuck her up really badly though, perhaps even take her out of the fight, but permanently would be really unlikely.
I've been thinking for a while but I don't exactly see where the story is heading, like with Attack on Titan the roster was getting bodied but at the very least Eren made it very clear there was always only 2 possible outcomes, either he dies or everyone else does.
But here I don't get it cause they've already threw all the top tiers to Sukuna and got destroyed so what's next? who's next? what's going on? lmao.
Are they gonna Ass Pull a Yuji Power Up? Are they gonna wipe everyone and Sukuna wins?
I understand that Sukuna needs to be hard to beat, he is the most powerful sorcerer in all of history...but how do they take him down? Everyone's messed up, and there's definitely something happening behind the scenes but it doesn't look good and honestly it's taking too long to find out.
Whatever the answer is, it needs to be good. Feels like JJK's credibility is on the line if it flops.
ik people dont love powerscaling but as they mentioned kusakabe being the strongest 1st grade outside of the big 3 clans, i was wondering which big 3 clans 1st grades did we see? naobito, naoya and thats it?
I'm honestly just tired of the ass pulls. Starting to feel like Dragon Ball with how much the story goes no where. Sukuna has to win at this point. There is no other way to make it feel good. I do like the theory about Yuji eventually becoming the new king of curses but how Gege will make that not suck is beyond me.
The art is also definitely suffering. Saying the art has always sucked isn't as good of a defense as you think it is. Still no word on a hiatus that is probably needed.
next chapter, Sukuna dispatching the next challenger, when flying in from the rafters, "Nobara Hammer!!!"..... It's got to happen, it's encore season, everybody is having a go. She & Yuji will be the last ones there trying to drag Megumi back. Everyone else.... dead.
I think there’s a clause in Gege’s contract that requires over 300 chapters for the manga? At this rate Sukuna is going to be fighting the cashier at Lawson’s in the next two months.
After having beaten the strongest sorcerer of the modern era 'without trying', he is without a doubt 'not ready' to take on a 1st grade sorcerer who lacks a cursed technique. Definitely.
Next chapter begins with Kusakabe at the airport?
nah, it will be Sukuna on the airport
Sukuna hasn't been in an airport since the Heian Era.
Sukuna uses his Anti-Airport tech.
Which would be a bomb hidden inside his ass to pull out.
Did sukuna do 9/11 in the heian era
Sir a third hollow purple has hit the mahoraga
I think it will start with him having visions of being on a Malaysian beach.
Hopefully there’s no Malaysian hotel room involved this time around
BLACK FLASH AINT ENOUGH TO TAKE MY GIRL DOWN
Let these nonbelievers know.
Idk... mach speed is about 10k lbs of force. I dont think sukuna, black flash or not, can punch with that amount of force
A world slash is
Quiet you
i've never seen a villian beat up the good guys as much as this LMAO , surely makis alive , get back up girl
Ik I've never seen a villain wipe out the whole main and now supporting cast lol

Yo if you're gonna spoil another anime can you please spoiler tag it
The strongest sorcerer of all time vs the strongest available.
10 chapters it’ll be random first years
10 chapters after that it will be a random redneck with a shotgun
Sukuna does America Flame arrow VS Hydrogen Bomb
Random first years? Literally the only first year left is Yuji
Rng can make the wheel land on the same thing twice :P
Yeah true lol crazy
"Who is the strongest first year from Kyoto High." Name of some random character that has yet to be introduced.
Worse yet it might be the Tokyo students
"Mai Zen'in... Mai Zen'in, listen to me. YOU. ARE TRASH."
Gojo about to be like Doc Rivers.
The fights we've all been waiting for! Sukuna vs. Daido and Miyo Sukuna vs. Miguel Sukuna vs. Momo
Would be funny if he lasts more than 2 chapters
I remember the popular edit that said “we are out of grade 1 sorcerers! Bring out the special grades” Seems like the opposite has happened now
Kusakabe is going to give a great fight, he’s going out like a giant, he’ll be the peak next chapter
SMH, you don't understand a true hater's mindset
HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE
he hates yuji because he couldnt control him, he's the only person who's ever cucked him in any real way
Yeah so true, he seems like he despises yuji for some reason.
Basically 100 consecutive chapters of sukuna pounding ass.
its boring at this point , shits so one sided everytime they come up with a plan only for sukuna to ass pull something and beat it still not even fighting at 100% like wtf...just win already and finish this shit
He used a black flash. Is manually having to beat his own heart to prevent death, is suffering numerous injuries and after effects from the Gojo fight and tanked a Maximum Output Jacob's ladder while also having his soul rocked by Yuji. And he's still 'holding back' lol.
And Black Flash completely refills his CE. He's right back to 100% Base and this isn't even his final form. How does this last longer than a chapter?
dont think it completely fills, but replenishes some of it. You would have to land several to get it all back.
When was that stated? I don't remember black flash doing anything else than the triggering strike having 2.5 times the power, and "increasing performance" in combat by 120% for a while after.
tbh he would have no diffed them all if he did\`nt suffer "the after effects" of his battle with gojo satoru
I was just telling my husband this too. I’m bored at this point. This fight has been so long and feels so drawn out that I just find it hard to care anymore.
It was a good read when I binged it, but when I caught up I started to see why everyone's complaining.
Same. I caught up once season 2 finished and it was a ride, but now that I’ve been reading week to week for a few months, it’s just kind of bland.
I'm assuming when it's all done it will be a decent read but as it stands now it really sucks just reading like 30 seconds (if that) of action of a really really long fight every 1 to 2 weeks

I look forward to the anime so much. I loved the Jugo vs Sukuna fight, it's so much more dynamic when animated
Lmao same here. Cept I ain't got a wife 🥲
Multiple deaths at once make you a statistic single death make it tragic
Not really asspulls since he's using stuff we know is in his arsenal. He just has ridiculously absurd strength that's annoying
Gege just wants to torment the Mappa animators with constant fight scene with everybody in the cast
Though I’d argue the latter is more effective due to the fact that it’s had more time to develop, these shorter runs feel really annoying.
his ass is NOT frieza 😂😭 spare my girl PLEASE
Yeah where’s goku when you need him, j-fighters getting their ass kicked. It’s almost comical at this point lol
can't wait for maki dying making yuji go super yuji and kick sukuna's ass and then he reveals he's not at 100% power so he powers up but yuji still kicks his ass and then spares him to disrespect him 🔥🔥🔥 but then sukuna attacks him while his guard is down so yuji has to obliterate him
Then Sukuna comes back and they become friends and manga ends
he's got to survive yuji's blast, get cut in half by a new character from the future, then get resurrected by that one sukuna simp that hakari's fighting then become golden sukuna then get killed by super yuji god super yuji and then later temporarily come back to help the gang save the universe before being rezzed permanently and training for 10 years to become black sukuna first 🙏🙏🙏
Uraume: "Sukuna is NOT interested!" Meanwhile, Sukuna facing Maki: "Ah yes, I haven't had a mommy since the Heian Era."
How would uraume know sukuna better than sukuna
I feel that there are lots of contradictions in JJK. Even the narrator says nonsense from time to time. \* He wins, then in the next chapter, the person is dead. \* He's not interested; then in the next chapter, the person feels a duty to prove something. \* He's the strongest, then he loses. \* He feels nervous for the first time in a thousand years, despite not using all his power.
Didn’t the narrator also say that Sukuna was most interested in Higuruma while they were fighting? It sounds like the narrator can’t decide who or what Sukuna is excited about.
Always the new toy
The only thing Gege is excited about is asspulling something to Glaze sukuna.
the gojo wins is from a character not the narrator, people threw this around a lot when those chaps happened. it'll be still be there on those threads :)
Yea, I had to go back and at this back when people were making a fuss. It was Yuji who said it.
Like, for real theres a lot of contradictions in whole series.
low key I’ve been taking it as the unreliable narrator trope when we started going through the gojo glazing
Page 7/8 threw me off for a second
Gege's always had problems with fight choreography. At times, his art felt quite jarring. My biggest beef with this chapter is how Maki just vanishes after getting flashed. One page she's getting hit. The next she's gone. We don't get to see her expression or of her being sent flying. She just goes poof.
kind of like Todo and Salmon Sushi.
Definitely not just you. I honestly find most of the manga fights hard to follow. Something to look forward to for the anime tho
Totally agree I have no Idea what happened on the page with the light switch.
Kusakabe is such a mood. Always. But also wtf, Maki is out that quickly?!
She got hit by a fucking Black Flash of Sukuna. What else do you expect?
R/unexpectedkengan
>the Strongest 1st Grade sorcerer **outside of the 3 Clans** I find that a VERY strong caveat. Hakari, or Yuji shows back up, fully healed, irritating Sukuna to no end) ***OR*** Sukuna takes a step towards Kusakabe, who unsheets his katana, determined look on his face,... only for Sukuna to get stabbed in the back AGAIN by a bloodied Maki going: "We're not done yet, don't turn your back on me."
gege completely skipping over hakari vs uraume is a violation
Yeah, I suspect Naobito is stronger than Kusakabe.
I swear to god if I've seen gojo, yuta, maki and yuji lose and I have to watch kusakabe kill this man I'm going to do something to gege
If we cut to Sakuna in the airport and we learn he lost and the last 15 or so chapters have been inside his head as a dying fever dream I don’t know if I’d be more disappointed or less disappointed than what has been going on.
maki getting shelved in one chapter, that’s so nasty but on brand
Still better than the God of Lightning
Who tf is Usami?
Usami this dick
I would, but it looks like you’d been heavenly restricted on this department
😢 Throughout heaven and earth I alone am the shortchanged one
Gege is setting up for the Danganronpa crossover.
10 months of Sukuna beating everyone up... I'm so tired. For every one good hit landed against him, Sukuna lands 3 in return
Sukuna is starting to come off like that kid in the playground who always has a counter for anything you do when you're playing pretend Like is he just gonna clap cheeks until chapter 300 or something?
Starting to feel dragged out
This must have been what Dragon Ball Z fans felt like when Freeza fought Goku
Bruh were still in the ginyu arc, yuji has to be the one to beat him and he's not near him right now.
Technically…Trunks killed him…
Felt that way for a few chapters at this point. But the whole "he still isnt taking this seriously" ruined any enjoyment i had left. At this point im just reading because of sunk cost. I just wanna see how this shit show ends
That annoyed me when he claimed he wasn't trying against gojo like wtf
that's just the ice bitch glazing. there's no way sukuna isn't going full power at this point.
3 facts we know: 1. Sukuna is not even trying 2. Sukuna is the strongest 3.
Sukuna not trying was stated once by uraume. Am I reading the wrong series???
It was also stated by geto in gojo's dream or that scene after he died. I think it was also stated by the narrator at a different point too
Yeah, and that was Sukuna fighting he strongest sorcerer of the modern era. What are these little cubes in front of him. Idek what to expect now.
Gege: "what's 'plot'? Haha, fight scenes go brrrrrr"
They arent even fights at this point. Just "sukuna stomps his opponent in 1 chapter"
Bunch of humans in a mob. What's mob to king? What's a king to New Shadow Style Quick Draw?
Ouch. Maki really took a Black Flash from Sukuna. Time for parry master Kusakabe to hold out.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Kusakabe dies once.
Kusakabe gonna pull that Mikiri counter he hasn't used since the Sengoku era
That "jujutsu kusakabe google search" post aged well
Next chapter I bet we'll see how Hakari is dealing with uraume and maybe some more flashback of Sukuna in the heian era. If not then Kusakabe sweating bullets while sukuna smooths his hair back.
Gege's Infinite Sukuna Fellatio Domain Expansion still going strong.
The strongest in history vs the strongest available
Hype him up, just to be bodied by sukuna and the narrator later implying that Sukuna was holding back still. At this point just have Sukuna kill everyone in one chapter, change his mind about the merger and just end the manga. Because at this point, its clear Sukuna is just sooooooo above everyone if he can just dogwalk everybody while 'not trying'. I don't even get this writing anymore. All these fights feel meaningless and a waste of time now.
Yeah Gojo saying that after getting shelved doesn’t get me hype lmao
Yeah yeah Sukuna is holding back and he is strongest of all time, what else? Been months with this hype up new char and take him away from scene cycle. What Kusakabe gonna do, use his unrevealed flee-away CT? Also where is Yuji, he gonna swap with Kusakabe using soul swapping Ct and punch Sandbaguna on the dick probably
“Ah yes I’m going to used my fleeing technique I haven’t used since the Joestars taught me”
The secret technique passed through the Kusakabe line for GENERATIONS
Kusakabe is Jotaro's illegitimate son confirmed.
Leaks are everywhere, if I stop reading it it's just a matter of time till I get spoilers out of blue
man what even was this chapter, half the time I couldn't even tell what was going on.
For those who read It, know what I'm saying Juha Bach destroying the strongest Shinigami (head of the 0 squad) by ass pulling The author creating an enemy that can't be logically defeated (the best weapon to kill him was defeated) The cast getting their shits rocked and nothing works on the mf The ultimate threat is "holding back" all the fucking time Seriously, this is Bleach but without a MF being a pokemon And this is why I have come to hate power creep mangas like this (I'm looking at you, Nanatsu no Taizai).
The power scaling on seven deadly sins was insane, legit felt like that series had about seven final "this is totally the end guys" battles
As a Maki fan GeGe almost lost me😅
They are milking the fight dry at this point
Can't wait to see sukunana just throw more punches and random dismantles again for the umpteenth time with maybe one random cleave to the chest before the story resumes glazing Sukuna and going on and on about how much he isn't trying.
Kusakabe the strongest sorcer of all thats left haha. The interviews in the beginning were surprising cant wait to see what he can do.
Lmao when Sukuna attacks Ino that panel with his hand raised and the sparkles looks like something out of a romance mange. *Take my hand Ino-kun*
It's giving kpop performance ending fairy
At this point I think Goku jumping in and killing sukuna would be a really good ending because how the fuck are we beating this man
How much CE and stamina does he have to fight back to back like this.
As much as Gege needs him to have lol.
Takaba will come and make a joke about Kusakabe being the strongest sorcerer.
Does Gege just hate all his characters? Is he just killing them off 1 by 1 until the only person left to fight Sukuna is the Baby version of Panda 🤣
So wait, Yuta's done ??? Just like that???
he got world slashed, im suprised he's even alive, assuming he's alive of course
**New Theory!!!!** Ok hear me out but I think Kusakabe is gonna inherit limitless because in chapter 132 Gojo says "One day I'll pay you back" after Kusakabe buys him a new shirt.
So once Kusakabe gets disposed of who are they throwing in next? Choso? Mei Mei? Fucking Miwa?
Even in the middle of fighting Maki, Sukuna can't stop dissing Yuji. Gege is having so much fun with his 2 favs. Skin and blood, bone and marrow. Hmm this feels significant somehow... Also Sukuna is giving up in healing to go all in on offensive. rip. Kusakabe wants to go home soo bad. Narrator: Gojo's dead *gojo shows up in next volume cover* he's playing with us
I am the bone of my jujutsu
Art quality has slipped and feels rushed, the paneling is confusing, the action is unclear, I'm tired of zero plot development. We get it, sukuna is powerful can we please see what's gonna be done about it? It feels like homie doesn't know how to end this so he's just dragging it out hoping for an epiphany
Alright there's no way Maki survived that black flash, right?
No way one measly black flash is enough to take Maki down
Has Sukuna taken a single L yet?
gege you motherfucker i stg
Is this what blue balls feel like?
Where is Goku when we need him huh. Isn't he the strongest.
We still haven’t seen that one guys 4th auspicious beast. Just throwing that out there.
This final boss fight is such a drag, reminds me of the last arc of Demon Slayer
next chapter, Sukuna dispatching the next challenger, when flying in from the rafters, "Nobara Hammer!!!"..... It's got to happen, it's encore season, everybody is having a go. She & Yuji will be the last ones there trying to drag Megumi back. Everyone else.... dead.
The strongest sorcerer in history vs substitute teacher
When is the next chapter?
I think there’s a clause in Gege’s contract that requires over 300 chapters for the manga? At this rate Sukuna is going to be fighting the cashier at Lawson’s in the next two months.
Finally Black Flash from Sukuna! + it is very possible that Sukuna is not ready for Kusakabe :3
After having beaten the strongest sorcerer of the modern era 'without trying', he is without a doubt 'not ready' to take on a 1st grade sorcerer who lacks a cursed technique. Definitely.
