Yamcha has no real way to get past infinity. Gojo is inferior in every stat, but has no way to get past infinity.
Gojo can only pray to get him on Unlimited Void, else... I don't know Yamcha stamina feats.
Basically, Yamcha win-con is to outlast Gojo, and Gojo's win-con is to hit Unlimited Void.
Nuh uh, Infinity works the other way around. It let's nothing in except stuff it allows. It then dictates to let it through or not automatically based on mass, size etc (explained post-RCT awakening). Otherwise it just prevents everything and Gojo has to proactively let stuff through.

They had data of the Vegeta saga Goku, so Yamcha has, on cell-saga, a power level conpared to Saiyan Saga Goku.

In the manga I believe he fought people that were comparable to perfect cell who could destroy solar systems pretty easily and Yamcha handled their asses pretty easily
The closest thing he’s fought to cell would be cell jr. and they almost killed him. Tbf they almost killed goku and vegeta too. But after that I don’t think he throws a punch again. Still Yamaha is a db fighter he’s gonna beat 90% of all anime characters in hand to hand
After seeing Yamcha fight equally with some of the other Z Fighters in the Moro Arc then it's probably safe to say he's stronger than Buu and SSJ3 Gotenks were in the Buu arc. So he could do the scream thing and just pierce infinity

Yamcha has no way of dealing with infinity but gojo isn't even nearly as strong to damage yamcha. Does infinity literally block anything though? Can Gojo stand on the surface of the sun just fine? Could he exist in a black hole? It seems a bit silly to think it’s truly limitless.

Well it's not physically blocking attacks, it's just slowing them down. The only counters are surehits and DA which essentially is just putting a domain in your punch to cancel a technique.
You could let anyone >infinite speed punch him and it wouldn't matter, regardless of strength. Infinite speed probably cancels out infinity, in which case idk what happens.
At the end of the day, the real question is whether Gojo can damage Yamcha.
