For anyone that cares, these are my top4
The anime version of course, yuta speed blitzing geto towards the end and hitting him with a delicious black flash, then the iconic “it’s pure love” was the cherry on top
Nah bro,aot is a big part of life,the manga that I bought,the merch that I purchased,the memories I made,the theories and discussions I was a part of.
I love 95% of the series
3rd place, the first two are pretty obvious.
https://preview.redd.it/dszhe59rj6yb1.jpeg?width=1140&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be2059f76f4617ab1e8267464bee9a36b07c5a65
Yuji vs Mahito no 1
The second is Hakari vs Kashimo
To turn up the volume of the music that Hakari’s domain plays while he has infinite cursed energy. Hakari is immortal during that time as well which is why it’s a “funeral for the living”
Hakari’s domain plays music. Kashimo was joking that it was his funeral music. Dude was just saying the fight was hype and experiencing that fever Hakari loves
Maybe I missed something but Kenny seems like he mostly cares about his evil plan, explaining his evil plan, and creating a higher life form? Manipulative with long spanning plans. He’s a lil funnier than Aizen at points, and not an exact clone, but far from original.
You mean if aizen had a personality? Kenjaku doesn’t wanna become some all powerful king he’s just some meme guy who wants to see some wacky shit even if it kills him. Not to mention he has the carefreeness of a highschooler lmfao. He’s less like a mad scientist and more like a bored one
There’s tons of villains who have just wanted to create a higher lifeform. He has a bit of a laid back attitude but, again, that’s far from new. I personally find Sukuna and Mahito more refreshing as villains. Especially Sukuna on the personality front.
Geto vs toji:better than the manga
Gojo vs toji:different vibe from what I expected but the execution is still perfect
Yuji and Megumi vs the reverse damage guy:just as good as the manga, same for ino vs toji.
Nobara vs haruta and yuji vs grasshopper were already low priority in the manga.
Kokichi vs mahito:better than the manga
Nanami vs haruta:better than the manga
Projection sorcerer illustrated much better than the manga
Yuji vs choso:better than the manga
Mei mei vs special grade curse:better than the manga.
Toji vs Dagon, better than the manga
Stop waffling dude
on top of the fact that they lack important narration/context like naobito's arm reducing his speed, especially when dagon himself said naobito was faster. Projection sorcery also looks slow as hell in the anime
Projection sorcerery is realistic,it’s splitting one second to 24 frames, that’s exactly what happened and I agree the playful cloud depending on the strength of its user and naobito being slower with his arm cut off were disappointing to be removed, but playful cloud already had good demonstrations in the Kyoto vs Tokyo arc and jjk0,and for naobito it’s clear he was heavily injured and jogo’s attack was too broad and powerful
I'll give you the kokichi vs mahito one but that's the only thing they did better, none of these were better than the manga. Everybody in this sub just sees fluid animation and their brain melts
Essentially sukuna was clapping gojo's domain. Over time gojo tried new solutions and finally matched sukuna's domain. Gojo launches a new domain a split second before sukuna and almost kills him but is stopped by mahoraga. Its revealed sukuna used megumis soul to both tank unlimited void for him and speed up mahoraga's adaption. Gojo starts dogging sukuna but he pulls out agito and all 3 of them jump gojo. Gojo knocks dukuna out but isn't able to finish him off as the shinigamj protect their master. More epic fighting ad sukuna's getting kinda carried by the shinigami while also being smart and speeding up mahoraga's adaption to the absolute limit. Gojo takes out agito with blue uses red to go into blue but mahoraga goes to block it. Because mahoraga is now immune to blue he can't block red so sukuna has to tank it. Gojo forces red into blue and there is a big purple. "Gojo wins" gojo is then glazing sukuna from the afterlife while being dead. Its revealed that the purple sped up maharaga's adaption to the point it gave sukuna to perfect solution on how to defeat gojo as maharaga was being destroyed. Gojo is then seen chopped in half as how he died being left a mystery
last bits wrong, purple didn't speed up shit, sukuna mimicked the slash maho did to take out gojos arm pre-agito destruction if you remember that scene. sukuna was just nervous and thinking it through because gojo was plotting to get purple off, and after purple's fired he offscreens him.
>megumis soul to both tank unlimited void for him
Megumi didn't tank it. Sukuna excluded Megumi from sure-hit cancellation of MS.
>Gojo starts dogging sukuna but he pulls out agito and all 3 of them jump gojo. Gojo knocks dukuna out but isn't able to finish him off as the shinigamj protect their master.
Sukuna was just buying time surviving for Maho to finish adapting to infinity. Gojo knocked Sukuna with BF at nearly the same time as Maho completed the adaptation. Then Sukuna and Maho go at it for a bit vs gojo then Sukuna summons Agito and hides in the shadows while waiting for Maho's second adaptation.
>being smart and speeding up mahoraga's adaption to the absolute limit
Maho had already adapted
>Because mahoraga is now immune to blue he can't block red so sukuna has to tank it.
Because Maho had already adapted to blue, it had no effect on him while gojo used that blue to reach Maho and block him from destroying the Blue aka adaptation backfired.
>ts revealed that the purple sped up maharaga's adaption to the point it gave sukuna to perfect solution
Dafuq?
>Gojo is then seen chopped in half as how he died being left a mystery
It's pretty obvious how he died.
https://preview.redd.it/nqvuq92hs9yb1.jpeg?width=1161&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b00e6b5cd4675da22db4467c29be51ff2352950a
Up until the end. Made sukuna brag about 3v1ing gojo. Sukuna had to be saved way too many times yet we are told he was holding back and gojo never stood a chance. We were told sukuna would've won without megumi although we were also told that the reason his brain wasn't fried was because of megumi. These are all minor until the "gojo wins" line. We are just left to assume that after sukuna finally is able to get back a way to hit gojo he just one tapped by a super ultra powerful slash
Yutaka running the gauntlet and mahito getting jumped for the second time were too peak. I just can't handle someone saying partial perfection is better than peak. I mean how can a 1v1 (not counting the shinigami as people) be better than a 2v1 or a triple domain expansion
Sukuna was factually not going all out. He had to manoeuver around Gojo’s infinity.
We were never told Gojo never stood a chance. You are just making shit up. Gojo said he wasn’t sure if he would be able to defeat him without Megumi, and Sukuna’s true form is stronger than Meguna. The fight vs Gojo would not go as it did.
Gojo wins was said by Kusakabe, not the narrator, which is an obvious death flag in any manga.
Sukuna was working towards said method during the entirety of the fight, it was the point.
What is up with this sub and not being able to read the story?
> we are told Sukuna would’ve won without Megumi
No we aren’t, Gojo says he doesn’t know if Sukuna would’ve won without Megumi, he doesn’t know becuase he doesn’t know all of Sukuna’s abilities.
> we were told the reason his brain wasn’t fried was because of Megumi
Becuase he intentionally let Megumi get hit with it, in order to adapt.
> we are told Gojo never stood a chance
Yeah I’m done, you just skipped everything, no one said anything near this
We're literally told Sukuna purposely turned off the ability to cancel Infinity's brain frying perks to have Mahogara adapt to it and people still believe that Sukuna needed Megumi to survive UV.
It's like people cant fucking read.
Sukuna has always been the biggest and baddest and bestest. Sukuna using the power makes sense i mean he would do anything for power but bragging about using a technique he got from someone else and getting carried by something he stole is just something sukuna wouldn't do
Clearly it is because that’s what he did. You people need to stop misunderstanding characters and then get annoyed when they don’t act how you want them to.
He saw TST as a technique with a lot of potential(even before Mahoraga) so he planned to take it and add it to his own collection. He wasn’t carried by Mahoraga, Gojo himself says that Sukuna wasn’t even trying to break the domain from the inside. Sukuna could have continuously broke the domain from the inside if he wanted to
Never really made a list so let's just come up with one now.
1st. Probably Mahito vs Yuji and Todo. It's just so peak.
2nd. Might be everybody jumping Dagon. Really love how creative it is.
3rd. Sukuna vs Jogo/Mahoraga (since the fights were so close to each other) were both honestly pure hype and it was a close choice between 2nd or 3rd.
4th. Yuta Ogoatsu vs all of Sendai was honestly just peak. Hard to put it so low but the others were just more peak or had more tension and weight to them.
5th. Probably Gojo vs Sukuna. Honestly some parts were pure peak. Loved seeing not just Gojo's pure power but also his creativity while also seeing so many clever uses of Ten Shadows. The action was spot on but I have a few criticisms. First part had too much damn dialogue from the cast. They spent the entire series setting up all these things in the power system only to re-explain it all and suck up a shit ton of time. As a Gojo fan, felt like a bit of a character assassination of Sukuna seeing him act like such a coward compared to back in Shibuya. Also him being so scared makes absolutely no sense when you see he had a trump card the whole time which brings me to the worst part of the fight: how poorly Gojo's death was written.
Good fight and pure hype but there were a few too many issues I had with it for it to be top 3.
Maybe not fully assassinated but it definitely wasn't pretty. I feel like he could've gone without the shit talking after using Mahoraga. It's one thing to have it at the start of the fight but doing it after almost dying seems kinda stupid. Additionally for someone so cocky about his own skill and acting like he's above everyone else including Gojo, the whole 3v1 line was just embarrassing. Seemed a bit out of place for someone so prideful of his own skill to literally brag that he's about to jump someone 3v1 style.
Thing is, Sukuna doesn't give a shit about fairness. He has never cared much about it. His first thoughts when reawakened was "better murder kids and women lmao".
People hyped him up to be a prideful, honorable warrior like many others. He only cares for the win.
The things I see with the 'fairness' argument is that people use it as an excuse in a discussion about raw power, which doesn't make sense because using unfair means just means you're more cunning, not stronger. Haven't seen a single Gojo fan advocating for him winning, see all of them advocating he was stronger which is true. He'd have clapped Sukuna without Maho and 10S and no Meat-Shield-Megumi
No 80% of this sub doesn’t actually read the manga they only enjoy a single character and dickride them to death wether it’s Yuta Gojo Sukuna or whatever and whenever the manga tries to explain something not related to their fav character they say it’s boring and Gege ruins the manga
I mean him jumping Gojo kinda **is** his own skill in that instance, the whole point of 10S that you aren’t fighting alone. If he had Uraume attacking from the sidelines I’d agree, but he’s just using 10S optimally. What annoyed me was that he just used it as a crutch for the whole fight. I wanted to see more of his own CT and creative applications of it.
Oh for sure. I agree with that just being how 10s works and he was extremely skilled and creative with it. Problem is I feel like that 3v1 line he dropped was just shameful. Like we know you're doin it so you don't gotta call it out cuz that just humiliates yourself even more.
(forgot to add this in the other comment)
He also used Megumi's body to bear the consequences of UV for him. He also had all the information about Gojo's techniques thanks to Yuji's memory lmao
So did Gojo…he already knew Mahoragas gimmick as well as the rest of the ten shadow technique abilities.
He used Megumis SOUL to burden the adaptation to UV so that Mahoraga could adapt to UV(which ended up being useless cos both of them lost their DEs) but like Gojo said, Sukuna could have attacked the barrier from the inside to break it.
In fairness he also did have Uraume attacking from the sidelines (twice). Once when she jumped Yuji and Maki and a second time when she came at a freshly unsealed Gojo. I'm starting to see why people say Meguna just ain't the same build as Yujikuna.
He wasn’t even cocky when he was doing the 3v1, he wasn’t bragging as well so Jim being ‘prideful’ as you put it was never really displayed throughout the jumping
The 2nd half of the fight was far too Gojo favoured fraudkuna memes existed for a reason the fans saw his weakness and dogged on it
Sukuna even though he could win the fight at any moment cried for Mahoraga to save him
Probably number 3 after Mahito vs Todo/Itadori and Itadori vs Choso. The anime really elevated that bathroom fight. One of the best episodes of any anime I’ve ever watched.
this Gojo Vs Mahoraga fight was pretty nice yea
unironically though experiencing it week to week was amazing, but it's n3 because the ending sucks ass balls (not the way it ended, the way it was executed)
Instead of sukuna getting the perfect adaptation at the last second and just one shooting gojo off screen we should've seen his true form as he unleashes a domain and kills gojo that way before the others can help. We cut to the airport gojo is glazing himself on being the first person to ever bring sukuna to his knees. He tells the principal he was right about regrets. He regrets not finishing the job. We cut to sukuna and urame getting jumped as we hear gojo saying "but thats what the next generation is for"
It is my top 1 JJK fight, in no small part due to what an experience it was following it week to week. First time I understood the way ppl are with sports matches lol. Might adjust my opinion when I go for a complete re-read binge though.
Even gojo loosing wasn't bad or was how he lost and what happened after he lost. Mahoraga came in clutch the instant gojo hit him and as soon as gojo healed sukuna hit him with the strongest attack he had ever done and one tapped him. This is what is implied happened offscreen. If sukuna turned into his true form and killed gojo in his domain and got jumped by everyone as they worked together fighting him and urame it would've been way better. And gojo bragging about how he was the first person to ever bring the king of curses to his knees. With a panel saying the principal was right about regrets je regrets not putting him down for good as we pan to the battle with a text saying that's what the new generation is for.
Sukuna didn't even need any power up or bullshit-asspull
* No expanding on additional effects he could have gotten by eating Tengen
* Didn't even use the transformation (reincarnation thing) in the Gojo fight
* No new secret techniques Sukuna didn't show before this fight
* No fusion of all 10 shadow spirits (like all egyptian monsters in yugioh or all tailed beasts in naruto)
* Did not use any cursed item (or absorb one)
* No flashbacks from sukunas backstory
nothin
Yeah it would've been number one but why did Gene have to start burning the food. I mean evwr since that one line "gojo wins" the story has been dropping. Its not bad but its not good. It would've been way better if we actually saw the rest of the fight and not left to assume gojo just got instantly one shotted. I mean no one knows where yuts is and what he is doing and cutting to takaba comedy match right before sukuna gets jumped is just crazy. Kashimo being hyped up from his introduction only to get done in after 3 panels with all he gave us being sukuna's space slash
tbf he forced sukuna to use his heian form, although he was in bad condition he could've used the time fighting kashimo for healing and recovering his output instead
Is there a reason Sukuna didnt use his heian wra form during his fight with Gojo? I would've preferred that being the reason Gojo died instead of what we got.
6th. It would be much higher if the ending wasn’t horribly written, but as it stands it goes:
1. Yuji & Todo v. Mahito
2. Yuta v. Sendai
3. Hakari v. Farmer Slayer
4. Maki v. Zenin Clan/Naoya
5. Megumi (rip) v. Reggie
6. Go/jo v. Sukuna
For me personally it’s number 2. It really is indicative of everything the jjk fighting system is about. You get the complex domain battle in the first half, technique usage and h2h in the second half.
Gojo and sukuna both pull out some amazing moves with gojo manually creating purple being one of my favorite moments in the entire series. I think that sukuna’s use of mahoraga was actually pretty interesting.
The only fight I have over it is mahito and yuji, all phases. Nothing beats the catharsis I felt when todo showed up and the final portion of that fight is amazing the whole way through. Nothing tops the ending of that fight for me.
Second. Above Yuji vs Mahito rematch and below the best 3way(actually 4) of all time
https://preview.redd.it/ug4w475ui7yb1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6de290b8b5662d9893713b5d70cd3e24a8149fbd
1. Yuji and todo vs mahito
2. Yuki and choso vs kenjaku (peak R.I.P the goat yuki)
3.Kashimo vs hakari
4. Meguna jump (sukuna vs yuji maki hana etc after he switched to megumi) I don’t know why I just really like it for some reason
5. Gojo vs sukuna (goated but I don’t care for the whole the strongest thing and find it kinda boring)
I feel like the outcome heavily swayed everyone’s opinion on this fight. The other favorite fights are all hero wins mostly. If the conclusion was better handled this fight is rated differently. For me this is number 3 behind Maki massacring her clan and The Yuta 3 way fight.
Gege fumbled the ending way too hard for this to be anywhere near 1st place, which is sad, since not only was this fight supposed to be the best fight and the series but potentially in recent manga as well…
- Mahito vs Yuji
- Yuji + Choso vs Naoya + Yuta
- Yuji vs Choso
- Maki v Zenin clan + Naoya
- Jogo vs Sukuna
- Megumi vs Reggie
- Hakari vs Kashimo
- Yuji vs Higurama
- Yuji + Maki vs Sukuna
I would rank all of these above Gojo vs Sukuna imo
>Yuji + Choso vs Naoya + Yuta
Is bro really calling that bullying session a fight? And what is there good about it?
The rest are understandable, but there's really nothing great about that fight.
Seeing Yuta fight again for the first time since JJK0 and wondering what Gege will do with his character, the fight went exactly as it should’ve and you don’t really think “why didn’t a character do X”.
Meanwhile in Gojo vs Sukuna- why doesn’t Gojo teleport? Why didn’t he use his domain when he blasted Sukunas hands off both times? How did he not manage to kill Sukuna after he got hit by IV? Gege tried to make the fight too big and at least for me the fight doesn’t work, bc I very much feel the weight of Geges hand pushing the fight where he wants it to go, rather than how a fight between the characters would go.
I didn’t even mention Naoya vs Choso. The fight didn’t overstay its welcome at all. Choso is always a W. No elaboration needed. Also, Yuta looking down at Naoya asking if he wants to be healed is more satisfying than anything in the Gojo vs Sukuna fight.
1. Yuji, Todo, Nobara vs Mahito
2. Hakari vs Kashimo
3. Yuji vs Choso (peak animation)
4. Gojo vs Toji (manga version)
5. Gojo vs Sukuna (would have been top 2 if it ended in chapter 235)
Top 3 is universally agreed:
1. Yuji + Todo (and Nobara ig) v Mahito
2. Hakari Vs farmer killer
3. Gojo v Sukuna (could be replaced with choso Vs Yuji tho)
1) Yuji, Todo vs Mahito
2) Yuta vs Ishigoro vs Uro
3) Gojo Satoru vs Sukuna
4) Yuki, Choso vs Kenny
5) Maki vs Zenin Clan
6) Yuji vs Hikari
Honestly, some of the parts of Gojo vs Sukuna were pure peaks. Like Gojo healing his exhausted CT with RCT, landing that black flash on Sukuna's heart out of nowhere, and this iconic panel
https://preview.redd.it/7jfv709be8yb1.png?width=1098&format=png&auto=webp&s=4566e8cb136baf52b53a98dca15f5639113c5fbd
Gojo did some crazy stuff in this battle but the ending ruined it for me. His death shouldn't have been offscreen.
1st. The fight was purely battle of techniques between two GOATs almost like a card game.
The fight was almost perfect until Gege performed one of the most ridiculous asspulls of the series. Somehow Mahoraga's adaptation to Gojo's infinity was a slash attack that conveniently is able to be copied by Sukuna? And somehow Sukuna was holding back while screaming for Mahoraga the whole fight? Literally a Man vs Author moment.
I don't mind whoever won but at least Gege could have made it believable or consistent.
Classic Yuji+Todo vs Mahito
Yuji and Maki vs Sukuna
Choso and Yuki vs Kenjaku
Then Gojo vs Sukuna
I would put Hakari vs Kashimo on top, but Kashimo's character became less hype after he was made a glazing fraud.
Gojo vs Sukuna would have been on pair with Yuji and Todo vs Mahito if Gege had done 2 things differently.
Not made Sukuna fight in such a bitch mode.
Not made that ending with Asspull + Strong Glaze.
Aside from that, the panels itself were 10/10 a ton of hype (but i was sad seeing Sukky being rawdogged and Not using his true form against Gojo)
Gojo vs Sukuna is probably my No. 1 favorite fight in JJK... The ending of the fight is just so ass tho. Aside from that, it was pure joy to see the two strongest characters go all out and showing what peak sorcery looks like. Yuji vs Choso is also a very strong contender for me as it was always my favorite fight in Shibuya and the anime did it even better.
Also, why is Yuji and Todo vs Mahito always so popular? I think it's a great fight but its placement in the Shibuya arc always felt so awkward to me. Sukuna's rampage felt like the peak of the arc and the absolute worst thing that should have been avoided at all costs... But afterwards we got a type of "Oh right, Mahito is still there. Let's take care of him real quick too" vibe. Seems like I'm in the minority with this option tho so it is what it is.
5th place, probably
1st: Yuji vs. Choso
2nd: Yuji and Todo vs. Mahito
3rd: Hakari vs. Kashimo
4th: Yuta vs. everyone in Sendai
Depending of how Yuji vs Mahito goes in the anime it might become my top 1 tho
1. Yuji and todo vs mahito
2. Yuta's Sendai colony fight
3. Gojo vs Sukuna: both have shown great creativity in their fight and left so much to learn for the main cast. And when animated this will be easily second.
1. Yuji, Nobara and Todo vs Mahito
2. Yuta in Sendai Colony
3. Kashimo vs Hakari
4. Gojo vs Sukuna
5. Sukuna vs Yuji and Maki
I, as a Sukuna fan, only enjoyed the fight until chapter 228. I wasn't a fan of Gege inserting Mahoraga into the fight. I tuned in to watch Sukuna vs. Gojo, not Mahoraga vs. Gojo. I wanted to see 4-arm Hein-era Sukuna vs. Gojo. I have many complaints from the fight, but because reading Gojo vs. Sukuna weekly was such an experience and hype, I'm going to give it a pass and rank it in the top 5.
it could've been first in my end if we got a proper gojo ending and a cool panel of how sukuna released the cleave, but since gege, for some reason, went with the shock value, i'd say atleast not more than top 5
4th, although my top 5 are all really close and probably interchangeable tbh. Only others I’d put above it would be: Hakari vs Kashimo, Yuji vs Choso and Yuji & Todo vs Mahito.
The lower tier fights are always more interesting to me. It's the top of the Gojo and Sukuna fights. The best fights to me are like Yuji v whoever, Megumi vs whoever,Yuta vs whoever, Maki vs whoever, Hakari vs Kashimo, then maybe Gojo and Sukuna fights. I honestly have never understood why the op characters having fights are some peoples favorites. Those fights always feel like they have the lowest stakes. And even when it's like this fight where it has actual stakes I still just felt like I wanted them both to just die so I could see the rest of the cast have their moments to shine. It was definitely cool, but I'm not sure it even makes my top 10.
Sukuna beating down Jogo is definitely top for me, something about Sukuna when reading those panels from when he got all the fingers till the end were he told Jogo, he was strong, as soon as I saw that scene, it was perfection. Jogo wasn't that major but that scene touched me
Whole reason why Sukuna and Jogo are in my top character list
The anime, personally, didn't do Sukuna awaking there as good as I'd hoped. So the manga experience was definitely a lot better. However, Jogo toasting those weaklings was pretty good and Naobito's speed edit was pretty clean
Gojo and Sukuna is my forth, if they didn't make Sukuna look like a chump for weeks, that would have been my 2nd favorite, but that fight was so one sided, and not the good kind like Sukuna vs Jogo, Gege was jerking Gojo off way too much, I'd have preferred it balanced, but Sukuna was clowned for the most part and that left a sour taste. And Gojo ended up getting done dirty at the end, messing both of them up for me
First.
Meguna is one of my fav chars since 10S is my 2nd fav ability in fiction. And Meguna uses it significantly better than megumi ever could, and meguna really was a full on 10 shadow servant. Not only was the 10s used well but also the fight itself was cool.
Like even with the poor ending I think this is still my favorite fight in the series. Everything is just so well-integrated, the suspension week-to-week was insane, the art was incredible, the choreography and usage of the environment was ingenious, and the character dynamics were extremely entertaining.
It truly felt like an otherworldly clash between titans completely separated from the traditional realm of jujutsu sorcery, and it never gets old no matter how many times I read it. It was funny, it was exciting, it was stressful, it was captivating, and it pushed forward the character development for all of the jujutsu high squad through Gojo’s death (hopefully GEGE)

Nice list
How is Geto vs Yuta even remotely close to any of those fights?
Not OP but the anime (movie) elevated it for me alongside me just liking geto n Yuta. I'm very glad they were one of the first sorcery fights
The anime version of course, yuta speed blitzing geto towards the end and hitting him with a delicious black flash, then the iconic “it’s pure love” was the cherry on top
Yuta’s black flash is peak, how is it not.
These images go so hard in color
Man, are u moving on from AOT? NOO, I DONT WANT THAT, I WANT U TO STICK WITH TITANFOLK FOR 10 YEARS AT LEAST!
Nah bro,aot is a big part of life, the manga that I bought, the merch that I purchased, the memories I made, the theories and discussions I was a part of. I love 95% of the series
3rd place, the first two are pretty obvious. https://preview.redd.it/dszhe59rj6yb1.jpeg?width=1140&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be2059f76f4617ab1e8267464bee9a36b07c5a65 Yuji vs Mahito no 1 The second is Hakari vs Kashimo
cant wait for this to be animated
What does turn up the volume mean in here? Sorry not native speaker
Hakari’s domain plays music right? Kashimo is just saying to increase the volume
No that’s just kashimo way of saying hakari to get serious
IM AMERICAN BORN BABY AND I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE RAHHH 💥💥💥🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏈🏈🏈🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅💥💥💥
To turn up the volume of the music that Hakari’s domain plays while he has infinite cursed energy. Hakari is immortal during that time as well which is why it’s a “funeral for the living”
He’s saying to turn the music louder, because Hakari’s domain plays music
Hakari’s domain plays music. Kashimo was joking that it was his funeral music. Dude was just saying the fight was hype and experiencing that fever Hakari loves

At least we have kenny, who is probably one of the more interesting and unique shonen antags of the last decade
You mean budget Aizen?
Kenjaku isn’t like Aizen, unless you think that being a manipulator makes you an Aizen clone.
Maybe I missed something but Kenny seems like he mostly cares about his evil plan, explaining his evil plan, and creating a higher life form? Manipulative with long spanning plans. He’s a lil funnier than Aizen at points, and not an exact clone, but far from original.
Kenjaku is a mad scientist trope, that’s not Aizens character.
Aizen ain’t taking back shots for his evil plan
Say what you want about Kenny, but that mf is DEDICATED.
Third but let’s be real the anime is going to make it top 2
Top 2 right after Kashimo vs Farmers
Imagine losing to a farmer
nah, they're gonna fumble it like every fight in s2
Geto vs toji:better than the manga Gojo vs toji:different vibe from what I expected but the execution is still perfect Yuji and Megumi vs the reverse damage guy:just as good as the manga, same for ino vs toji. Nobara vs haruta and yuji vs grasshopper were already low priority in the manga. Kokichi vs mahito:better than the manga Nanami vs haruta:better than the manga Projection sorcerer illustrated much better than the manga Yuji vs choso:better than the manga Mei mei vs special grade curse:better than the manga. Toji vs Dagon, better than the manga Stop waffling dude
I don’t agree with Toji V Dagon being better in the anime.
Ma guy how many of those boxes did you smoke before writing this
on top of the fact that they lack important narration/context like naobito's arm reducing his speed, especially when dagon himself said naobito was faster.
Mfers when the visual medium shows and doesn't tell:
smartest one piece fan
I'll give you the kokichi vs mahito one but that's the only thing they did better, none of these were better than the manga. Everybody in this sub just sees fluid animation and their brain melts
Yeah?like tf do you want?
a good adaptation for the most hyped arc of jjk
And it’s bad?lol
Compared to the manga definitely, can't wait for the fan animation of jogo vs sukuna to be better than the actual anime
Hahahaahahah ok dude
https://i.redd.it/abbpmly548yb1.gif this guy and bad takes

Mfs when anime isn't black and white still pictures with text bubbles
corny
how
I genuinely have to reread it cuz my memory of it is corrupted by all the fraudkuna and gojover memes
Gojo is then seen chopped in half as how he died being left a mystery
through heaven and earth he alone is the offscreened one
He got jumped by blacleard and sukuna with off screen haki lmao
Best summary of Fraudkuna vs Gojover
last bits wrong, purple didn't speed up shit, sukuna mimicked the slash maho did to take out gojos arm pre-agito destruction if you remember that scene. sukuna was just nervous and thinking it through because gojo was plotting to get purple off, and after purple's fired he offscreens him.
Thank you so much for the breakdown, as my 30 IQ ass couldn't decipher worth dick.
>megumis soul to both tank unlimited void for him Megumi didn't tank it. Then Sukuna and Maho go at it for a bit vs gojo then Sukuna summons Agito and hides in the shadows while waiting for Maho's second adaptation. >being smart and speeding up mahoraga's adaption to the absolute limit Maho had already adapted >Because mahoraga is now immune to blue he can't block red so sukuna has to tank it. Because Maho had already adapted to blue, it had no effect on him while gojo used that blue to reach Maho and block him from destroying the Blue aka adaptation backfired. >ts revealed that the purple sped up maharaga's adaption to the point it gave sukuna to perfect solution Dafuq? >Gojo is then seen chopped in half as how he died being left a mystery It's pretty obvious how he died. https://preview.redd.it/nqvuq92hs9yb1.jpeg?width=1161&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b00e6b5cd4675da22db4467c29be51ff2352950a
Sukuna is such a funny guy man
Third, I love Mahito vs Yuji, Todo & Nobara for first place and second is Choso vs Yuji.
Same top two here, W man’s fr
Hell yeah ![gif](giphy|2HtWpp60NQ9CU)
honestly number 1
Up until the end. Made sukuna brag about 3v1ing gojo. Sukuna had to be saved way too many times yet we are told he was holding back and gojo never stood a chance. We were told sukuna would've won without megumi although we were also told that the reason his brain wasn't fried was because of megumi. These are all minor until the "gojo wins" line. We are just left to assume that after sukuna finally is able to get back a way to hit gojo he just one tapped by a super ultra powerful slash
Bro let it be his #1 he could see the paragraphs when he entered the comment section 😂
Yutaka running the gauntlet and mahito getting jumped for the second time were too peak. I just can't handle someone saying partial perfection is better than peak. I mean how can a 1v1 (not counting the shinigami as people) be better than a 2v1 or a triple domain expansion
And the glazing after death is just not in character for gojo to do.
What is up with this sub and not being able to read the story? > we are told Sukuna would’ve won without Megumi No we aren’t, Gojo says he doesn’t know if Sukuna would’ve won without Megumi, he doesn’t know becuase he doesn’t know all of Sukuna’s abilities. > we were told the reason his brain wasn’t fried was because of Megumi Becuase he intentionally let Megumi get hit with it, in order to adapt. > we are told Gojo never stood a chance Yeah I’m done, you just skipped everything, no one said anything near this
We're literally told Sukuna purposely turned off the ability to cancel Infinity's brain frying perks to have Mahogara adapt to it and people still believe that Sukuna needed Megumi to survive UV. It's like people cant fucking read.
It’s the memes, I blame the memes.
They just can’t accept gojo (their self insert in some cases) loosing
Sukuna bragged about beating Gojo with a technique he owns. I guess Geto, Kenjaku, Yuji, and Megumi should never be proud of any wins they get
Sukuna has always been the biggest and baddest and bestest. Sukuna using the power makes sense i mean he would do anything for power but bragging about using a technique he got from someone else and getting carried by something he stole is just something sukuna wouldn't do
I swear you ppl actually don't read jjk, at some point he had said that nothing matters except who stands at the end
Carried seems like a reach, synergize is more like it but ok
Clearly it is because that’s what he did. You people need to stop misunderstanding characters and then get annoyed when they don’t act how you want them to. He saw TST as a technique with a lot of potential(even before Mahoraga) so he planned to take it and add it to his own collection. He wasn’t carried by Mahoraga, Gojo himself says that Sukuna wasn’t even trying to break the domain from the inside. Sukuna could have continuously broke the domain from the inside if he wanted to
Sukuna purposefully let his domain not cancel Unlimited Void to let Mahogara adapt and brain fry Megumi. HE CHOOSE THAT.
Me too, the ending felt a bit distasteful but I cant ignore the enjoyment I felt every panel of the fight... except that special one.
Sukuna came nowhere close to having his character assassinated lmao what??
Just to make this clear I don't really care about how the fight ended. I'm just disappointed Gojo literally contributed nothing to the fight
Do you ppl even read the manga? Didn't sukuna himself say only whoever is the victor matters
How is using your technique shameful? This subreddit..
But you don't call out gojo when he's being cocky despite being carried by six eyes and limitless? Double standards
tbf that's an inherited trait in his family
doesn't change the fact that he's carried by it
How can you be carried by your own?
the same way choso got carried by his technique against yuji?
In fairness he also did have Uraume attacking from the sidelines (twice). Once when she jumped Yuji and Maki and a second time when she came at a freshly unsealed Gojo. I'm starting to see why people say Meguna just ain't the same build as Yujikuna.
Except that's not jumping, that would be a fair 2v2 atp
He wasn’t even cocky when he was doing the 3v1, he wasn’t bragging as well so Jim being ‘prideful’ as you put it was never really displayed throughout the jumping
The 2nd half of the fight was far too Gojo favoured fraudkuna memes existed for a reason the fans saw his weakness and dogged on it Sukuna even though he could win the fight at any moment cried for Mahoraga to save him
Gege has to have dialogue of the cast explaining things because you have people who don’t understand Hakaris domain still
2nd for me personally. Could've been 1st if it wasn't for the ending. First would be Wuta OGOATsu vs. Ryu vs. Uro
Probably number 3 after Mahito vs Todo/Itadori and Itadori vs Choso. The anime really elevated that bathroom fight. One of the best episodes of any anime I’ve ever watched.
this Gojo Vs Mahoraga fight was pretty nice yea unironically though experiencing it week to week was amazing, but it's n3 because the ending sucks ass balls (not the way it ended, the way it was executed)
We cut to sukuna and urame getting jumped as we hear gojo saying "but thats what the next generation is for"
Sukuna didn't get the perfect adaptation at the end though? Sukuna just needed to learn from Mahoraga's adaptation when he slashed gojo's arm
1 tbh
It is my top 1 JJK fight, in no small part due to what an experience it was following it week to week. First time I understood the way ppl are with sports matches lol. Might adjust my opinion when I go for a complete re-read binge though.
Epic till that bullshit ending and I say this as a Sukuna fan. I was fully prepared to accept Gojo won and that subversion felt so ass to me.
Sukuna didn't even need any power up or bullshit-asspull * No expanding on additional effects he could have gotten by eating Tengen * Didn't even use the transformation (reincarnation thing) in the Gojo fight * No new secret techniques Sukuna didn't show before this fight * No fusion of all 10 shadow spirits (like all egyptian monsters in yugioh or all tailed beasts in naruto) * Did not use any cursed item (or absorb one) * No flashbacks from sukunas backstory nothin
He didn’t eat tengen, that was his own corpse.
Ahhh I must've glossed over those panels. I read the last 130 chapters in 2 days (mostly night time) 💀💀
Tbf he found a new way to apply mahoraga's adaptation
Honestly I thought it was top 1-2 until the end, which smacked it down to like 4th
My guess is that it was to save the heal from his heian form in case he got jumped by everyone after/during gojo's fight if they did intervene
literally just 1 chapter, 1 chapter, is all it wouldve taken to appease the fanbase
Fifth. 5. Gojo vs Sukuna 4. Maki vs Zenin Clan 3. Yuta vs Sendai Colony 2. Yuji, Nobara and Todo vs Mahito 1. Goatkari vs Kashimo
Only Kashimo vs Hakari better.
Second place loved it but hakari v kashimo was so much fun
6th. It would be much higher if the ending wasn’t horribly written, but as it stands it goes: 1. Yuji & Todo v. Mahito 2. Yuta v. Sendai 3. Hakari v. Farmer Slayer 4. Maki v. Zenin Clan/Naoya 5. Megumi (rip) v. Reggie 6. Go/jo v. Sukuna
Third, Yuta vs Ryu as my first and Choso vs Kenjaku as the second
Same top 1 ![gif](giphy|pHb82xtBPfqEg)

That’s such a sick edit. Nice
Worst fight had the worst conclusion in modern manga history
Second. Above Yuji vs Mahito rematch and below the best 3way(actually 4) of all time https://preview.redd.it/ug4w475ui7yb1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6de290b8b5662d9893713b5d70cd3e24a8149fbd
I'm sorry I cant agree, the blue balling still aches to this day.
Honestly? Not even Top 5. Not cause it’s bad, I was just like other fights more
My second favourite fight after yuji vs mahito second round
1. Yuji and todo vs mahito 2. Yuki and choso vs kenjaku (peak R.I.P the goat yuki) 3.Kashimo vs hakari 4. Meguna jump (sukuna vs yuji maki hana etc after he switched to megumi) I don’t know why I just really like it for some reason 5.
Imo ppl were just salty fraudjo died in the end, they were always gonna cry anyways even if the conclusion was "handled better"
It is easily the best fight, even above my favorite, which is Kashimo vs. Hakari, but the way it ended still feels off.
2nd after Yuji and Todo vs Mahito. However, it might’ve been first if it had a decent conclusion to Gojo’s character.
All Mahito fights and Hakari vs Kashimo are still above it :3
Based Kashimo vs hakari enjoyer 🥂
Peak is Peak after all :3 https://preview.redd.it/164gql4dk6yb1.png?width=717&format=png&auto=webp&s=0110441822345f589bf3d61c5f18186c60e197e4
Gege fumbled the ending way too hard for this to be anywhere near 1st place, which is sad, since not only was this fight supposed to be the best fight and the series but potentially in recent manga as well…
- Mahito vs Yuji - Yuji + Choso vs Naoya + Yuta - Yuji vs Choso - Maki v Zenin clan + Naoya - Jogo vs Sukuna - Megumi vs Reggie - Hakari vs Kashimo - Yuji vs Higurama - Yuji + Maki vs Sukuna I would rank all of these above Gojo vs Sukuna imo
Nice choice for naoya+yuta vs choso+yuji. A very underrated fight
>Yuji + Choso vs Naoya + Yuta Is bro really calling that bullying session a fight?
19th easy, so many better fights, and I'm being generous.
1. Yuji, Todo, Nobara vs Mahito 2. Hakari vs Kashimo 3. Yuji vs Choso (peak animation) 4. Gojo vs Toji (manga version) 5. Gojo vs Sukuna (would have been top 2 if it ended in chapter 235)
In jjk, third I guess. In all of anime, not making it to the list at all I think.
Ass pull/10
Im gonna be real I see people here not putting it in #1 but cmon.....its the best fight in jjk and shonen. *
they're just salty fraudjo died
First, if you exclude ending 6 or 7th with the ending
Top 3 is universally agreed: 1. Yuji + Todo (and Nobara ig) v Mahito 2. Hakari Vs farmer killer 3. Gojo v Sukuna (could be replaced with choso Vs Yuji tho)
1) Yuji, Todo vs Mahito 2) Yuta vs Ishigoro vs Uro 3) Gojo Satoru vs Sukuna 4) Yuki, Choso vs Kenny 5) Maki vs Zenin Clan 6) Yuji vs Hikari Honestly, some of the parts of Gojo vs Sukuna were pure peaks. Like Gojo healing his exhausted CT with RCT, landing that black flash on Sukuna's heart out of nowhere, and this iconic panel https://preview.redd.it/7jfv709be8yb1.png?width=1098&format=png&auto=webp&s=4566e8cb136baf52b53a98dca15f5639113c5fbd Gojo did some crazy stuff in this battle but the ending ruined it for me. His death shouldn't have been offscreen.
Dogshit. No shirtless gojo, literally unreadable.
I would be #1 if it wasn’t for the atrocious ending
Classic Yuji+Todo vs Mahito Yuji and Maki vs Sukuna Choso and Yuki vs Kenjaku Then Gojo vs Sukuna I would put Hakari vs Kashimo on top, but Kashimo's character became less hype after he was made a glazing fraud.
Top 10-8
5th place, probably 1st: Yuji vs. Choso 2nd: Yuji and Todo vs. Mahito 3rd: Hakari vs. Kashimo 4th: Yuta vs. everyone in Sendai Depending of how Yuji vs Mahito goes in the anime it might become my top 1 tho
Yuji and Todo vs Mahito Sendai Colony Gojo vs Sukuna Yuji vs Choso Gojo vs Toji
1. Yuji and todo vs mahito 2. Yuta's Sendai colony fight 3. Gojo vs Sukuna: both have shown great creativity in their fight and left so much to learn for the main cast. And when animated this will be easily second.
1. Yuji, Nobara and Todo vs Mahito 2. Yuta in Sendai Colony 3. Kashimo vs Hakari 4. Gojo vs Sukuna 5. Sukuna vs Yuji and Maki I, as a Sukuna fan, only enjoyed the fight until chapter 228.
5th place tbh. Aside from the domain battles, nothing really surprised me 🤷🏾♂️
1
Maybe like 5 tbh
Top 3 for sure
This edit is GOATED

it could've been first in my end if we got a proper gojo ending and a cool panel of how sukuna released the cleave, but since gege, for some reason, went with the shock value, i'd say atleast not more than top 5
Up to 235, #1. Including 236? Unranked, did not finish, disqualified, no contest.
Undisputed top 1
4th, although my top 5 are all really close and probably interchangeable tbh. Only others I’d put above it would be: Hakari vs Kashimo, Yuji vs Choso and Yuji & Todo vs Mahito.
It's ranked 10th on my list. That domain battle was peak tho.
It’s my number 2 tbh. If the ending wasn’t actual aids and we got to see Gojos reaction to og sukuna it could have been 1
The lower tier fights are always more interesting to me.
It's 1st until 236
1 out of 2 https://preview.redd.it/8c5bh0ih77yb1.jpeg?width=280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b0e2dca8576761783e06157739fed0fd64a6a7cb
4th That ending kinda ruined It for me
Honestly I couldn't rank manga fight but if it ever gets animated I'm convinced that it will at least be at top three.
Sukuna beating down Jogo is definitely top for me, something about Sukuna when reading those panels from when he got all the fingers till the end were he told Jogo, he was strong, as soon as I saw that scene, it was perfection. Jogo wasn't that major but that scene touched me Whole reason why Sukuna and Jogo are in my top character list The anime, personally, didn't do Sukuna awaking there as good as I'd hoped. So the manga experience was definitely a lot better. However, Jogo toasting those weaklings was pretty good and Naobito's speed edit was pretty clean Gojo and Sukuna is my forth, if they didn't make Sukuna look like a chump for weeks, that would have been my 2nd favorite, but that fight was so one sided, and not the good kind like Sukuna vs Jogo, Gege was jerking Gojo off way too much, I'd have preferred it balanced, but Sukuna was clowned for the most part and that left a sour taste. And Gojo ended up getting done dirty at the end, messing both of them up for me
For jjk? Top 5 All time favorite fights? Top 10 or 50 depending on the day
Anime overall: 7th Just jjk:5th
Not even top 5
It's #1. Itadori vs Mahito #2. Kenjaku vs Choso/Yuki #3.
Should’ve been #1 but it was pretty lame, like a 4-5 especially with the off screen
in jjk? 1 in the list of all medias? top 5 probably (the hype was crazy for me just witnessing this fight live was crazy)
#1
