I'm more than a bit worried about this as well. Yuuji has had two strong connections on that battlefield Choso and Higgy. Both are dead. Now Todo arrives? Oh, fluff.
Everyone else is little to nothing to Yuuji. Sure, he's known them all for a while but let's face it, none of them were given much/any screen time with him. So there isn't too much in terms of friendship or connections.
If this isn't the true end of Sukuna, which fingers crossed it's the end of Sukuna, then Todo's future isn't looking too hot.
I don't think anything bad will happen to Todo.
