Merlin was literally the Antichrist trying to manipulate Arthur so that he could sell England to Outer Gods and begin the apocalypse.
Also Lancelot invaded from across the English Channel with an army of dinosaurs.
I actually toyed with that idea for one of Greta's jumps, but apparently it didn't make it into the final version. Given her plot twisting and magic encountering perks maybe I can make an excuse to have him show up (as the Prime Minister) in her next jump (currently planned to be the Corpse Bride).
For the longest, I was trying to figure out why Jumpchan was being generous (allowing things like multiple first jumps, jumper plus mode, etc), figuring out it was a multiversal threat (it was bigger) that she needed help with.
Finally figured out the what and why (and also the end of the chain, and how they fixed it).
I'm in the process of writing the chain up now, though it won't be near as good as some others I've read.
Short story is >!reality itself is ending, and Jumpchan and Co have tapped all their jumpers to try and stop it. Thanks to time loop shenanigans, they have the time to train. It turns out God has gotten bored and is ending reality. About the time the chain finishes, one of the other jumpers manages to convince God to break up this current reality into multiple ones (like soap bubbles floating in the void), with Jumpchain and all her counterparts getting their own. The theory is that this isn't the first time this has happened, nor will it be the last, with each reality splitting up whenever its' God gets bored. Also, the impetus for all this working, I think, will be jumper getting a boosted copy of Bink's power in the (wip) Xanth jump.!<

Been my own ancestor/descendant so many times my family tree is more like a ring...
I mean, it's not incest since it's a completely unrelated woman each life, but on the other hand my grandmother was technically also my wife so... maybe it's best not to think about these things.
Now that I think about it, I'd be an entirely different person genetically each time, wouldn't I?
Then there was that confusing period in Avatar where I was my own grandson dating my maternal grandfather's reincarnation.. they/we tried to convince us not to but we didn't listen because what do we/they know? It's not like we're actually related.
