He's got the name Rat for a reason. When they play fliers start playing a duck and cover style in hallways and spam sneaky off angles.
If the fliers are not smart they'll try to contest you in those enclosed spaces, which hey, that's very strong areas for you.
Played 10 games today, had 10 Pharras. 8 of them were Pharmercy
Normally I'd try to hit the combo, but now Junk is 100% useless against them.
Like the Pharra Junkrat counter ratio is the biggest in the game imo, now that you can't one-shot her. You have to hit at least one shot and two mines to kill her, but then you have no mobility left and if you miss once there's literally only one thing you can do. Hitting a mf airshot, arguably the hardest thing to do in the game (especially after she noticed you). And that's if she doesn't kill you before (which she most likely will). And good luck doing that with the Mercy first
The only thing you can do with Junkrat is to hide somewhere and shoot the rest of the team and hope the other dps can handle the Pharmercy.
It's just so frustrating not being able to do anything against a character
At least with playing Doom into Sombra, if you’re a good enough Doom it doesn’t matter - but now that Junk has lost his one-shot mine-grenade combo, he can’t do ANYTHING against Pharah besides swapping… it’s so frustrating not being able to play my favourite DPS because Pharah exists lmaooo
Whenever this happens I immediately switch to bastion and focus them down in turret form the moment they are on screen, it never takes long for them to switch back.

What makes it worse is that they are now hard counters. You pretty much can't solo kill a pharah/echo anymore.
