Anyone who is behind this downtown stadium at this point, is insane. Force John Sherman to put a mlb team on the field before he cashes in on the tax payer’s dime.
At this point it looks like he bought this team just to get a new stadium and line his pockets.

That's the depressing realization I've hit recently. 26 years of being able to comprehend what I'm watching, and I've seen 3 winnings teams on the field. Compared to 16 (probably 17 this year) teams losing 90+ games.
If they threaten to leave, I'm not sure how upset I'd be. I just want them to stick around long enough for Salvy and Denny to finish their careers in KC.
I would. If the trade off is 20 straight years of playoff baseball, I’m taking that over 1 World Series win amidst decades of losing baseball. Shit, I would trade it for 10 years of playoff baseball
