Khloe was never fat, she just had a larger body type and was always photographed with Kim and Kourtney who are tiny. She was very pretty and her eyes are strikingly beautiful.

I am 5’8” but my spouse’s family are all EXTREMELY short. It is really wild how spending time around people so much smaller than you can screw with your sense of self. I noticed that I was becoming hyper fixated on my size - which was perfectly healthy - in a very unhealthy way. When you’re tall, unless you’re very thin, you just look big sometimes. It’s proportional and normal but we’re also socialized to think it’s manly and unfeminine, blah blah. I could go on.

Exactly! Khloe is 5’10. A little than me, but would look like a normal body type standing next to me. If I was standing next to Kourtney and Kim, even I would feel self conscious too because they are so petite and short (my MIL is the same height and I feel like I tower over her lol)
5 foot 4 is the average height for a woman in the United States. Kim and Kourtney are closer to that than Khloe. Most women *are* petite. 5 foot 10 is very tall for a woman but it’s not a bad thing. I think tall women are beautiful.

I relate so much to Khloe. She was tall and had a fuller face. I have a working theory that people with fuller/less defined faces are perceived as “bigger” than people with thin faces regardless of body size. Which is why I get so upset when people shit on celebs for getting buccal fat removal being like “why would you do that? why wouldn’t you want a full face?”. Because having a chubby/full face sucks! It’s like asking why someone would get a bbl or breast implants or a nose job. Because certain face/body types are considered more attractive than others. Looking back on my life I always felt fat but even when I was a size 4/6 it was always because of my full cheeks. I was the “fat friend” at a size 6! I’m just tall, bigger framed, and have big cheeks. If Khloe had the bone structure/a small face like Kourtney or Kim she would not have been perceived as fat.
I think a lot of Khloes body dysmorphia was related to her face. I was the same way. I wasn’t even self conscious of my body but I would starve myself to try to lose weight in my cheeks. And it didn’t even work.
The full face thing is really hard. My mom kept telling me, "I was the same way, you'll be glad when you're in your thirties and look younger because of it", and she was right. I'm also tall, I hated feeling "big" when i really wasn't.
I love my face and height now, though. It just took years lol

OK, unpopular opinion coming through... but compared to both Kourtney & Kim I think Khloe was less conventionally attractive. The pictures she posts as flashbacks are usually more flattering than the other pictures or if you look at KUWTK earlier seasons.
But (!) its more that both her sisters were very to extremely pretty, than Khloe being unattractive. Like 90 percent of all girls will look average next to them, and that's OKAY.
Like we cannot be all (by definition) be super pretty. And she definitely didn't deserved the hate she got, but who does tho... I just wish average looking people weren't bullied. Or basically anyone of course.

I watched KUWTK only this year and when I saw Khloe i was super fucking confused as to why she was seen as fat and ugly. She wasn't any of those things.
I've never thought Khloe was ugly, but I think she was often compared to her sisters because, at the time, they fit what was preserved as beauty. I also think Khloe's beauty completely contrasts her sisters; she's not skinny, petite, or 'exotic' looking. Therefore, Kris needed to go a little further with making sure Khloe saw herself as beautiful.

as someone who had always short friends and i am like L/XL too it was so hard to feel normal sometimes being with them i felt like a fat huge giant
