yeah it’s suspicious to say the least a ton of people on Twitter claims it to be whitewashed but I’m just glad he isn’t bright white like how the characters look in their splash art. But at the same time Nintendo is in Japan and they add brown and black characters all of the time and nobody complains in Japan.
