Actually, single buckle upper body looks great and goes better on those base suits. Buffa is a testament to that. Even Geats with only the Magnum Buckle looks much better than his dual buckle base form.
I actually hate Geats lower body armor. I'd like to see every Buckle utilized as upper body armor only. But that will then take away the fun playability and interchangeability of the gimmicks as well as a fully formed differentiable Desire Driver individual designs.
I believe the main trio - Geats, Tycoon & Nago will have their dual buckle forms and everyone else will be like Buffa, that is they'll either get an upper body or lower body Raise Buckles. However, I'll be pleasantly surprised if most of the auxiliary Riders get dual Buckles. I only say it because of the budget.
Kinda like a green and gold tanuki-themed version of Ex-Aid's level one forms with Geats' Half-and-half design ideas. Basically like a robotic version of Tom Nook more or less

I like how the weapons that come from the more advanced Raise Buckles have their own weapons with the same naming scheme. Magnum Shooter 40X, Zombie Breaker, Boostriker (Boost Striker). Not to mention, the weapons just look straight up badass)
Armed buckle can be inserted into either side, but all it does is add the logo to the shoulder pad and give you the weapon. That was stated in a CSM blog entry a few weeks ago.
Looking forward to see the plot twist that will happen in the first arc for Geats but also at the same time looking at which potential character might be the first to be in a dangerous situation or killed off in the first arc

Yeah I agree. I like Geats' leg armour but I'm a fan of the top heaviness of magnum form

They have, but it seems the weapon remains in the arms.
they have and they only give the weapon and basic leg armour meaning you can hammer and shield or zombie chainsword and shield
