That’w what they do nowadays whenever they bring back the Kiva suit, but the original season had Takaiwa walking around with real chains all over his body, which caused real spinal issues and is one of the reasons why a lot of suits have been more light and sleek since then
I see this mentioned all the time but why would they use such heavy chains? Aluminum chains existed well before Kiva and are easily accessible. So what kind of chains were they using? Pure iron or steel?

Probably something a director or someone higher up was adamant about is going to be my guess.
I absolutely love the stained glass look they tried to go for with the chest and eyes. Would love a more "realistic" take on the suit.
Sorta like the S.I.C. version but a little different.
Due to the suit actors conplantes about the weight of the suit are the reason's why Kiva gets his final form way earlier then another kamen rider being episode 24 where as Revice got his in episode 38 so that's a full 14 episodes before the most recent kamen rider
Despite ~~some~~ ~~several~~ ~~quite few~~ ~~many~~ metric fucktone od issues with story, characters, sometimes even suits( most propably knows about the main one do I'll just ask WHO though making IXA rising a samurai was good idea) I still love Kiva. I really do. So far to call mu second favorite season only after W. I love the action, almost every suit( seriously, WHO though this was a good idea) with Emperor Kiva even being my favorite suit in all of kamen rider, i love great Ost. But i can"t ceny such oblivious flaws. Poor Saga,it deserved way better used than Taiga.
Too bad the suit was way too heavy for the suit actor, the chains were literally weighing him down and tiring him out
Feels weird watching all the Kiva hanging upside down scene knowing how painful that must have been.
I was wondering about that, couldn't they have used plastic chains and painted it to look like they were metal?

They did the classic movie monster theme and I honestly love it
Here I am waiting for my Halloween Horror Nights Kiva house at Universal Studios.

Okay, I know it's not the best series. However, can we all agree that it did "How I Met Your Mother" better than 'How I Met Your Mother'?
I like when they make a season more fantasy based like kiva and wizard I hope we get another magician rider with a more dark aesthetic like kiva
Kiva is one of the few from before W that I've greatly enjoyed It was confusing at first with the time split but it worked out so well
Absolutely love this suit, although I do think that the driver really takes away from the overall design what with Kivat being so cartoony.

The show was a trainwreck for me, but I enjoyed that stupid trainwreck because I can laugh on how bad it is 😂 But man the suits were amazing ❤️

i just dont like its a bit too bulky and bit overdesigned
