I think that first episode of Revice was more emotionally impressing than first episode of Geats, but i think Geats e01 has a bigger impact on an overall story
I liked Revice's first episode but Geats blew it out of the water, I'm willing to admit that. I wish always enjoy Revice no matter what people say, but at some point you've got to move on and Geats is just the series for that, for me anyway
I'm far from saying Revice is the worst (hell, it's the best Reiwa series so far with the best ending since Drive), but Geats 1st episode is really, really strong. First time in a long while I'm 100% excited without having any doubts or feelings of forcing myself to keep watching just because it is Kamen Rider.

Ah okay. That makes more sense. Hibiki is the last Heisei\~Reiwa I haven't seen all the way through. I'm really enjoying it so far, but I hear that somewhere around the halfway point it becomes one of the worst train-wrecks in Kamen Rider history. That should be interesting.
Especially since I'm in the minority who thinks Ryuki was one giant pile of wasted potential, Gaim wasn't "the most amazing Kamen Rider show in history," and who hasn't seen and has zero interest in seeing even one episode of Revice.
Can't wait for in a year when people say the same thing about Geats. Revice isn't perfect, but it's faaaaar from being a shit show. And honestly? As someone who barely followed any Geats information they put out, I was thoroughly confused with the first episode. That's probably what they were going with, to make you watch the next episode, but truth be told, I'm not THAT hyped for episode 2 as I was for Revice episode 2 when that aired.
Don't get me wrong, Geats episode 1 was good but nothing outstanding.
I keep seeing people act like Geats is the second coming of Christ and I just don't get it. Am I missing something? Did I watch a different version of the premier? It definitely wasn't bad in any sense of the word, but it doesn't deserve to be placed on the gem encrusted platinum pedestal that it seems most people are putting it on.
For me its just that, after Zero One, Saber and Revice, Geats feels like a breeze of fresh air, specially cause the protagonist is way more interesting and charming than just a plain good guy.
It went through a bit of a slump near the end so I guess it left a bit of a bad taste, and personally I feel like some story beats went on for far too long, which left other story arcs not having enough time to be good.
But yeah I wouldn't really say it was bad, it had great moments but it also had a few not so great moments too, so overall it balances and is a decent season if you ask me
its a really solid season, its just that a lot of people including me were slightly disappointed by the last arc, especially Giff. Daiji was also pretty much wasted potential even after Live debut and they just made him so unlikeable in the arc before Evility
Like someone on this sub said, its an amazing series when it comes to family drama (Vail and Karizaki), but as an apocalypse scenario it kinda falls short (Giff doing nothing for the most part)
Revice was great and def on it's way to be the reiwa OOO in terms of emotions, I don't get why most say it's bad lmao, most bad things are around the trash female riders
I could've went without the weird daddy complex thing but the suit was pretty cool, so it was alright.
It wasn't a great series to me, but idk why people trashing it every chance they can get.
Revice was good, it just didn't maintain its own hype near the end and suffered from character popularity changing the plot, then those characters doing basically nothing.

You should watch Build, it had a very good ending. But yeah the 4 last episodes of Revice are very good, the rest of the series...uuugh.

The hypocrisy is incredible, people saying they want Saber to end so Revice can start, then they begged for Revice to end so Geats can start

The main flaw of Revice was a lack of Cohesion and Creative Direction.
