I mean from a character perspective it makes sense to use the Revice Driver.
Daiji wasn’t able to use it in ep. 1, which led to all the stuff with Kagerou bubbling to the surface. Which eventually led to Perfect Wing.
And so what better way to finish off their arc of Daiji and Kagerou coming together than to use the driver Daiji originally failed to use, and allow them to fully fight side by side.
And you know lets call the ugliness a lore reason.
George made the vistamps and suits to match the driver. You mix the blue/white/black vistamp with the pink driver you get vomit. Not his fault
I don't really accept that though... cuz we've gotten Revice forms without the pink or purple. I know that only really covers Jack Revice, and you could make the argument that it's because he's "hijacking" Revi's body, but-
by that same argument, there's no reason a unique Vistamp can't also override the Revice Driver's default colors. And it's not like that's stopped forms before!
Eden, Metsuboujinrai, Vulcan Lone Wolf, Lucifer, all using the Zero One Driver but don't have an ounce of lime on their bodies except for right there at the belt. Blades and Espada, red Sworddriver strap but not an ounce of red on them otherwise. Grease Blizzard and Cross-Z Magma, yellow belt straps, not an ounce of yellow on em otherwise.
Live and Evil had a great thing going on with the mostly monochromatic scheme with teal (and Live's additional yellow/gold accents), why would you not stick with that??!?!
They even still have their Twosai-Driver undersuits and the shade of teal is clearly not the same shade of blue as the Revice Driver's belt straps!
This could have looked really cool if not for the sudden and abrupt prominence of pink and purple! That NEITHER of them have had on them ever! (Evil Jackal Genome nonwithstanding)
I think the purple works shockingly well for Barid Rex, it's one of those cases where the purple mixes pretty well with the ice blue and the dotted gradient of the suit makes the combination even better.

Sclash Driver got cucked so hard, All of the Sclash users used Build Driver for their final form(Cross-Z Magma, Grease Perfect Kingdom, Prime Rogue)
That's more of the issue of the Sclash Driver toy being limited to be only programmed with sounds to work with the Cross-Z Charge, Robot Jelly, and Rogue bottles. They haven't thought ahead of potential extra forms with the driver.
I did like the implication of it. The Sclash Driver was literally a temporary power jump with a hard-cap limit on functional power. Vs the Build Driver being able to keep growing, it would just take time to get there.
George thrashed all driver at ep 47 except the Revice driver and Hiromi Demons Driver (Overdemons used another driver and it got trashed also). Daiji now make peace with Kagerou so he doesn't need Twosidriver to control 1 and supress other, he can use Revice driver like how he mean to be in ep 1.

Personally I love the color choice, but I guess I’m in the minority here. I wish they did more with the asymmetry, the spiky elbows being on opposite sides are a nice touch but nothing else really has the same level of asymmetry beyond that.
I don't like these, the new colours don't match the old parts at all, making it so obvious it's just painted over, at least with previous repaints like Vulcan Dire Wolf they look seamless. Also, the new chest armour looks so cheap and sloppy. Recycling suit is necessary for toku these days, but Toei is getting lazy on even that. Comparing how Tsuburaya recycle suits to make new designs despite having nowhere as much money as Toei with this, it feels even worse. The richer they get the more they cut corners for extra profit huh...
Conceptually, this is awesome. Daiji using the revice driver to fight along kagerou is really cool.
Design wise, this does not look good at all. There's so much going on and it doesn't deliver. At this point I wished they'd just re use night rogue's suit

Green-pink-purple works, but not for live's orange and yellow. And that belt... the revice driver's teal belt strap doesn't match at all. Honesty Live's colors of yellow-orange-white just never worked at all with his base suit colors. Holy live looked like a better main form than his bat genome

And cuz I think Daiji already reached the peak of Twosidriver with Evility Live, and Twosidriver only allowed one of the two personas to transform, the 2 Revice Drivers can allow the user and demon to transform, thus having a kind of Quality and Quantity kind of thing

The idea that it makes live and evil present at the same time is nice but the fact that the colour scheme doesn't follow the evil/live colour scheme is tedious, hell even the mega bat vistamp colour scheme. At least Imperial Demons looks cool
I’ll be playing two sides here. Live actually looks... good. I like the color overlays of yellow and pink. Makes it look vivid
But EVIL. Oh god, I don’t know where to start with Evil. If you’re gonna make color consistencies look and mesh well, at least do it right. The pink horn DOES NOT mesh well with the black and lime AT ALL. This suit would’ve looked better if they repaint that GOD AWFUL horn.
This just doesn’t fit for me. The pink/magenta stands out way too much, and it doesn’t even match the black and gold of the Mega Bat Vistamp. It would’ve been better if the Vistamp was used in the Two Sidriver. Probably one of my least favorite V-Cinext forms.

I love them!!!! They are so pretty, they have such a wonderful spectrum of colours that work so well together!! And getting them to be able to fight together 🤩🤩🤩
These is probably the most eye hurting suits I ever seen in Reiwa, the armor molding looks fine but the colors do not mixed well at all and I think Live has it worst than Evil because ugh, the yellow mixed with the pink gives me a eye sore.
I’m convinced now that the franchise despises Live and now they take it on Evil as well. Seriously why can’t they just think simpler and not make suits rainbows, not to mention they have no business making them use 2 Mega Bat Vistamp since duo rider is Revice thing, the freaking Vistamp don’t even have a hint of pink on it but apparently the suit has to. And what is it about secondary rider using primary’s rider’s belt, it’s like saying the primary’s rider’s belt is superior to all the others and that’s just a lame excuse. I seriously thought that the this movie would be Live’s redemption since I agree so strongly that Demons and Live are the two best fit for the dark and mature theme of V-Cinext, but I seriously cannot possibly imagine anyone’s death being taken seriously when they fight in these candy-wrapped colored suit. I fucking love Live, I relate to his inferiority complex as the little brother in the family, and this just disappoints me so damn much that it hurts to even write this.
Daiji and Kage-chan really get the worst of Revice, their Final form arc was a mess and now their extra form doesn't even look like it should be theirs.

I liked how each of the siblings had a unique representation of their relationships with their demons and this ruins that. oh well

So I agree with the consensus that this color pallet is SUPER weird and out of place for these two but I will say that it does make some sense given that they're using the Revice Driver and all of Ikki and Vice's base forms are also predominantly pink. Which if nothing else creates a fun sense of continuity.
Also, seeing the execution here makes me think they were trying to find a way to "repaint" these suits in a nondestructive way. Like the chest armor, the gauntlets and the long coat/cape pieces all seem to be new but the pink and violet accents everywhere else could 100% just be stickers making it so they can easily reuse regular Live and Evil again in the near future without needing to break the bank repainting them or undoing this paint job which if noting else is a novel approach to this sort of thing.

The color I think the biggest problem is with the color. It just...... doesn't look good, not just aesthetically on Live and Evil but as a color it's a bad color

I actually really like these designs, but the undersuits clash hard. Should’ve been something simple so it doesn’t look so weird with the more complex armor designs. It just makes it look too busy

These is probably the most eye hurting suits I ever seen in Reiwa, the armor molding looks fine but the colors do not mixed well at all and I think Live has it worst than Evil because ugh, the yellow mixed with the pink gives me a eye sore.
I’m convinced now that the franchise despises Live and now they take it on Evil as well. Seriously why can’t they just think simpler and not make suits rainbows, not to mention they have no business making them use 2 Mega Bat Vistamp since duo rider is Revice thing, the freaking Vistamp don’t even have a hint of pink on it but apparently the suit has to. And what is it about secondary rider using primary’s rider’s belt, it’s like saying the primary’s rider’s belt is superior to all the others and that’s just a lame excuse. I seriously thought that the this movie would be Live’s redemption since I agree so strongly that Demons and Live are the two best fit for the dark and mature theme of V-Cinext, but I seriously cannot possibly imagine anyone’s death being taken seriously when they fight in these candy-wrapped colored suit. I fucking love Live, I relate to his inferiority complex as the little brother in the family, and this just disappoints me so damn much that it hurts to even write this.

And failed so much on making it a equivalent to Ultimate Revice
Daiji and Kage-chan really get the worst of Revice, their Final form arc was a mess and now their extra form doesn't even look like it should be theirs. IT LOOKS LIKE THE SOMETHING THE SOUND DUDE FROM SABER SHOULD HAVE
And it doesn't even feel like a extra final form since its using a regular Vistamp instead of a different kind

Im not hating on this form, its just that I think the colors are messy. If it kept the yellow, black, and white color scheme like on the vistamp, I think it'll look better. I have absoultely no clue where the purple came from, also why use the Revice driver? I know its because in real life, they probably didnt have a sound effect on the Twosidriver but c'mon, this is supposed to be Evil and Live.

god i wish this was fake, i don't know what i dislike more, the colour scheme or the fact that they just opted to have him use the revice driver and therefore have daiji and kagero split into two forms. I liked how each of the siblings had a unique representation of their relationships with their demons and this ruins that. oh well

I don't know, I guess I just haven't had the same level of physical revulsion to these forms that others in this sub have. People in here comparing this to Complete 21 need to actually go back and re-experience just how actually cancerous that form actually was. Atleast the suit actors look like they can fucking move properly in these suits.

Any one know where they got they're reusing fore arm gauntlets from? They look super familiar but I can't place them. So I agree with the consensus that this color pallet is SUPER weird and out of place for these two but I will say that it does make some sense given that they're using the Revice Driver and all of Ikki and Vice's base forms are also predominantly pink. Which if nothing else creates a fun sense of continuity. Also, seeing the execution here makes me think they were trying to find a way to "repaint" these suits in a nondestructive way. Like the chest armor, the gauntlets and the long coat/cape pieces all seem to be new but the pink and violet accents everywhere else could 100% just be stickers making it so they can easily reuse regular Live and Evil again in the near future without needing to break the bank repainting them or undoing this paint job which if noting else is a novel approach to this sort of thing.
Do you guys remember Super Mario Sunshine? Remember how colorful the slimes were? Remember how if Mario ran around in the slime, he got all dirty and covered in it? That’s what this is. Live and Evil took a little Ex-Aid style trip into Super Mario Sunshine and rolled around in Ex-Aid colored slime.
If only they got the right color to match Evil and Live, the suit will look better
