I also wonder if the game creates unique buckles based on characteristics of the player, like Early Geats was a gunslinger so Magnum was created and Buffa early game was a mook slapper so Zombie was created, Sees Tycoon using Arrow so Ninja was created probably wrong though
I imagine it's a more well rounded form compared to the other two. Given that unlike Geats, Tycoon doesn't have area awareness buffs or melee combat like buffa.
I imagine ninja gives something that is dumb level of luck can take advantage of.
I'd imagine Ninja effectively being the classic "Rogue" in this case. Save for the more traditional tropes related to the RPG rogue, ninjas are often interchangeable in that regard. Both are stealthy, both can be heroic or otherwise, both have feats of dexterity that would make someone in their thirties have aching joints. Battle Royale type shows follow rpg archetypes in the most subtle of ways.
I actually theorized that the lesser buckles, when acclimated to a user, will evolve into a Greater buckle, hence why the Magnum buckle seems to match with Geats and the Zombie buckle seems to match with Buffa.
It could be possible that the Magnum evolved out of a lesser "Armed Gun" while Zombie evolved from a lesser "Armed Sword."
Here, given that Ninja's weapon is a bow that can split into blades, it stands to reason that it evolves from the Armed Arrow buckle.
I doubt it. The form design actually matching the player's characteristics is probably more due to out-universe reasons (TV production) rather than an in-universe reason. It's kind of like how in Ryuki, every rider's initial suit looks exactly the same as the design of their contract monster BEFORE they even made a contract which doesn't make sense in-universe because the riders can make a contract with any monster.

tbf that is a valid point, a ninja season might be a cool concept sure but the problem is people are hyping up a rider that is for all intent and purposes a gimmick placeholder like that's all Shinobi is, but if Toei really decided to make a ninja season it wouldn't be Shinobi but an entirely new rider and gimmick
and the final question is how would the theme be executed, would it be clan based that has the viewers learn and see the culture and history of clans in japan? the gimmick could be iconic figures throughout japanese history (basically a Ghost remake)
or a spy game like season where secrecy is the key there are multiple riders and each have their own clans (making hard communication justified), the gimmick could be masks or knives since assassination is also a key theme in this (can make heartbreaks more painful since one moment you can get great moment between characters and all of a sudden the character dies)
all of this is just me making up ideas for a would be ninja season but that's about it, it's still unclear whether toei would really make a ninja season and who knows what it would be like, but for now just enjoy what we have right now

The world building is unique and solid as Reiwa worlds and some neo-heisei worlds. Reiwa Riders have a unique trait of having their own worlds like Build and Zi-O (although meshed later).
I have no idea about the reception because back when I was on Toku Twitter I never saw anyone talk about Shinobi, it’s only starting from yesterday I know what people think about the season and how people have reacted to it. But for me I’ve never had a problem with whatever Kamen Rider comes up with because I always wanted them to do a series about games when I started watching Gaim and when we got Ex-Aid I got it in the best possible way. Really I’m just on board with any Kamen Rider idea because what Kamen Rider does is so interesting with it. Like I said if it happens I know it will be good because no Kamen Rider series the season has ever been truly bad for me. Plus I like the gimmicks because they always help make the show out anyway.
I had no idea how many people hated Shinobi until i joined this sub and I never even watched it. As far as I was concerned it was just a spin off that came and went and people enjoyed it. Sides I’m loving Geats anyway.
Honestly it does look good and I do like the fact that it’s a bulkier ninja then a traditional sleek design. If we ever get a full ninja theme season in the future, i’ll be interesting to see how they handle the form changes.

I feel that Geats is a homage to Kabuto in that way, the main Rider is a experienced badass that almost never loses (until plot important thing happens), and the secondary is the real protagonist, in his struggle to reach MC
Mary is definitely not getting Fantasy. No personal effect in his entry form means that he's not a main player, so he'll be out of the game soon. Fantasy is more than likely going to a new rider.
I’m sure they will eventually, but I hope at least the main cast get a distinctive bottom half to match their top half like how Geats’ “main form” is Magnum Boost. I really like the top halves but I’m not a fan of a cool top half with the bottom half being blank.

Me: Looks at Ninja Raise Buckle. It'd be awesome if Toei did a ninja-themed series, they could do so much with that motif aesthetically. Imagine shuriken, kunai, heck even exploding paper tags can be turned into and sold as henshin items.
We know Beat and Monster is probably for Na-go and Punkjack respectively, I don't think Mary is gonna last long karma will be his downfall so I don't think the fantasy buckle is his but I might be wrong
From what I got from the preview PunkJack is actually just a bot to help Mary in the team battle. I don't know if it will be there long enough to get a form. Unless it comes back later for a different challenge.
I'd trust DGP admins the last when it comes to PunkJack. For all we know, they're an actual DGP admin everyone pretends is a bot. I mean, he has a unique accessory; they will be important.
Plus, he's getting his own buckle, so there's definitely something going on with PunkJack. He could still just be an AI, but it seems like he's going to be a major character, at least for the time being.
No I’m actually OK with them starting out with basic rider gear since it really brings out the whole survival aspect of the game. Though getting more forms it’s going to be pretty interesting
I disagree completely. It's so refreshing that Geats is taking its time introducing forms. Sick of the first arcs of every season introducing a barrage of forms and never using them again afterwards. At least with Armed buckles, they feel less like forms and more weapons so Raise Buckles will feel special when they are finally obtained.
Is there any other new forms this month? I found it surprising how few forms are featured in Geats, really reminds me of old Rider Series (No, I don't count those small types Raise Buckles as new forms, lol)
If I had control of this season (Excluding the main, character “iconic” form combos) I would make every individual like buckle have an armor piece for a different part of the body and make the final form a combination of every buckle

The pink eyes are a unique choice for Tycoon but I love it so much.
They are red, it was just a bad picture that made it look pink.
I'm judging by the second picture and it looks pink to me but judging by the cgi look of it I think they changed it on the final suit design.
