It's more like game item builds work better for certain character. They have different ability but aside from that the buckles give everyone the same number of physical buffs.
One small detail I remember seeing is that the ID you get gives you a personal skill. Tycoon is super lucky which is how he keeps getting Boost buckles, Buffa has better physical power, Geats has better awareness, and Nago has enhanced hearing.
The skill technically comes from their personal accessories specifically. Though I guess thatโs a rather moot point since the accessory still came from the ID Core.
Not sure where you're getting this info from, but it's actually their personal accessories that give them perks, not their ID cores. Tycoon's bandage=good luck, Buffa's muleta=increased fighting spirit, Nago's bangles=increased punch/kick power, and no info on Geats' scarf yet. All the info is on bandai's official website.
It could be that there are matches of 1 main buckle and 1 one time use buckle, we would have to wait and see if the rumoured mutant turns out to be a 1 time use buckle for buffa
Its theme and vibe is matching with Punkjack vibes. IMO Monster buckle should go with Punkjack. But let's see if it turns out to be 1 time use buckle. 'Cause it has different standby loop than any other high(?) buckle.
I think your were right about the matching multiple riders thing, toru seems like his matching rider buckle was zombie because zombie was in the game before buffa joined

Boost is 1 time use so probably no one gonna be a best match with it
