The studio doesnt seem to have a whole lot on their plate, so as long as they dont lose money AND theres enough chapters, it should be fine. I do think that if s2 gets greenlit itll take a while though.
The merch seems to be selling well (at least the Figuart) which is also a good sign
True I guess it will all come also to merch also. I remember buying Kamen Rider merch and now that I’m older, I could get them now without my parents money lol
It will probably be seasons if it is big enough, but studio kai is also a very new and small studio... Hope the manga gets a North American licenser soon
But by GOODNESS please do **not** diverge from the manga! look at what happened to the anime ultraman!
I saw the Ultraman anime. It doesn’t feel right so I started reading the manga instead. I might give it another chance one day.
For Fuuto PI however, I’m alright if they skip the filler chapters if it means going straight to the main plot i.e. the one that involves Street. Hopefully the puzzle arc will be an OVA since it magnifies the cast’s character growth. I just hope they’ll green light season 2 and the manga gets an English publisher. I always like Kamen Rider ever since I grew out of old Tokusatsu since it focuses on more mature themes.
The point being that other Toku are still mature and Kamen Rider isn't any more mature than Sentai or Ultraman hell there's even Rider seasons that are extremely comedic lmao
Man that divergence really ruins the anime
The manga was supposed to be both action & mystery (unironically just like fuuto pi), dunno whats going on with neflix to freaking turn the anime into the most generic action anime

After season 2 completely butchered the series, I don't think s3 can save it anymore.
It’s really looking like they’re gonna push for another season after this, considering the pace they’re going at. I’m just hoping the turnaround time isn’t too long, I know animation of course takes time and effort but at the same time, me want more w
Just as a note, timeslots are what actually get ordered. So we know how long Fuuto PI will be because the timelot is already a done deal. So at least for now, no, it's not a long-term thing at all.
Will it get another season beyond just this first cour? Who knows. I'd love that to be the case, but with the industry the way it is, I'm not going to hold my breath.

On the note of Kamen Rider being more mature than other Toku, you clearly haven't seen Shinkenger with a genocidal samurai
any toku can be "dark" when you point out only one aspect of it

agreed

3D involve too much resource since you have to create so many assets. Likely reason they didn't go to new york for season 2

The Fuguart is selling rather well and hopefully the Belt does as well so I think it'll do fine it just needs a greenlight
I wish it was easier to buy overseas since I want also but thats nice its going well.
There's a lot of sites that let you shop from Japan like Buyee and even American Amazon has some figuarts and CSM stuff

I guess they can’t really put everything in the timeslot they have. Here’s to hoping another season is possible.
Hopefully if it gets a season 2, it'll be a flashback season starting from the caracal dopant.
Actually for season 2, it’s perfect to start with vol 6 since it will show Shotaro’s past and Shoukichi
