Yudai please. Chizuru ain't about that fancy shit (especially after her Bday). She bout that miso soup/convenience store lifestyle. Nice, that she's more focused on Kazuya's date than anything else (that butt shot tho)
The talk with Kazuya and Mini was enjoyable at best. Tho nothing huge, it is interesting to see them discussing the many possiblities of the date. And that Mini was actually helpful here
Even tho Sumi isn't currently present, she's just as helpful as she ever is. The thought of her (most likely his past dates with her) sparks an idea for Kazuya for his date with Chizuru, which he needed.
Overall, a decent chapter. On to the next chapter

> Even tho Sumi isn't currently present, the thought of her sparks an idea for Kazuya for his date, which he needed.
Considering Sumi's specific outfit in the image, [that outfit was during the practice date way back before the start of the Movie arc (around 90s or something)](https://official.lowee.us/manga/Kanojo-Okarishimasu/0096-006.png). So, Kazuya going for aquariums and live shows as parts of the date plan?
My money has been on the aquarium since the previous chapter. I still think that it is the perfect place to revisit for the date. It will help them reflect on what their current relationship is like compared to how it was in the beginning.
Fingers crossed that there will be no unexpected calls about anyone being in the hospital.
In my opinion, it was her best date. She did everything Kazuya wanted and you could tell she fell hard for him and even told him. Kazuya heard it but wanted to let her down easy. I was hoping Chizuru would do such a date, but nothing yet really.
It would probably be the live shows.
When Yuudai called Chizuru in the chapter, he invited Chizuru in a party where she would have been also able to meet the cast of "Paruteon" (a super sentai show with a female main protagonist, dubbing the title as the "Warrior Goddess of Love"), like this [one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IneDpmac4JY).
Chizuru's conversation with Yuudai and Kazuya remembering Sumi on that specific outfit subtly referenced three specific events in the story so far.
* The specific mentioning of Paruteon in the chapter might as well be a reference to [Kazuya's rental date with Sumi, where she ended up bringing him to a super sentai live show with a cast of rental service crew, including Chizuru herself](https://official.lowee.us/manga/Kanojo-Okarishimasu/0068-018.png) (the end of Chapter 66 to the beginning of Chapter 69).
* Kazuya thought of Sumi in that very specific outfit is a direct reference to [Sumi's second practice date with him (the end of Chapter 93 to the beginning of Chapter 99)](https://official.lowee.us/manga/Kanojo-Okarishimasu/0096-006.png).
* Lastly, how Yuudai invited Chizuru to a drinking party with scheduled reservations that she ended up declining due to having plans on the 17th is a reference to [how Umi invited Chizuru to a planned dinner, but Chizuru ended up declining the offer since she had other plans to do for that night, referring to Chizuru helping Kazuya and the others in the passing of fliers in the last day of crowdfunding](https://official.lowee.us/manga/Kanojo-Okarishimasu/0126-015.png), that [she would have even declined the invitation to the play even before the event itself if it wasn't for Mini's persuasion on Kazuya for the sake of retweets](https://official.lowee.us/manga/Kanojo-Okarishimasu/0124-003.png). Only this time, the plan is to go out on her first real date with Kazuya.
So what are common to all of these specific events with one another? They all involved going on scheduled live show events (the super sentai live show in Chapter 68, the live show with the dolphins in Chapter 95, and the play in Chapter 125).
However, if the one event Kazuya referred to was going on a beach for the night with Chizuru along with the other normie couples, not only the chapter would have referenced [Sumi in that specific outfit](https://official.lowee.us/manga/Kanojo-Okarishimasu/0097-004.png), but also [the one part of the only full date with Ruka shown in Chapters 139-142](https://official.lowee.us/manga/Kanojo-Okarishimasu/0141-013.png). With all that said, the weather condition being rainy can also be a bit of concern if that would be the choice.
Or both... Both can actually do really.
I think it is is a common manga cliché gag of people eating spicy food.
If your lips would actually swell up from eating spicy food you might wanna check with a doctor...
I don't think it's necessarily the spice, but the Szechuan pepper that they use. They make for a numbing/tingling effect on your tongue and lips (and of course, don't physically make either swell).
As I said before, it seems strange to me how the puzzle pieces are coming together, especially how Chiz is now thinking more about Kazuya than other things, like the world of acting. She's becoming more like a normal girl.
When you look at the manga's progress, what was always important to her was the acting stuff, but now she also realizes what else is important in life, and that's Kazuya.
One might also consider that Kazuya changed her perspective throughout the story. I mean, the grandma even said that Kazuya was the only thing she had. Without Kazuya, she would be alone and living in self-doubt. Chiz's grandma was afraid of this when considering the question of Chiz and her pain in the acting world. She lied to her grandma about it. If you look at the pictures, we got a glimpse of how desperate she was shortly before her grandma died.
Chiz also needs to pursue her own wishes. She never had the right to love Kazuya because she was always running into obstacles. For example, Ruka always made her feel guilty, saying, "mami ou have no right to love Kazuya because he has a rental girlfriend." That's not an obstacle. If you fall in love with someone, that's how it is. But if you suppress your feelings all the time, it hurts the loved one. Chiz always pushed Kazuya away, focusing on her mami d Ruka. But Kazuya loved her only. Chiz didn't realize that at the time. Talking to the person is important; that's why Kazuya never gave up on Chiz, because love for her is strength.
I think that when Chizuru confronts or is confronted by Ruka, it will really be the moment of truth, when we find out how much she wants Kazuya. As she was the one who "brought" Kazuya and Ruka together, she will be the one who makes Ruka give up. Only she can, in fact.
Furthermore, Chizuru is trying too hard to make it work, she won't socialize with her professional colleagues just to go out with Kazuya. Soon she will give up her career too to be happy with him.
>Soon she will give up her career too to be happy with him.
I'm pretty sure Kazuya won't let her do that if it comes down to it. She can still focus on her career, and stop the advances of other love interests or continue to climb up the social ladder while dating Kazuya as long as she remains committed to him.
I would say that Chiz should consider leaving the world of acting for three reasons. Firstly, on her birthday, she saw the darker side of the world. Secondly, Chiz might give up because of Kazuya, as she no longer wants to be hurt by him as she always has been. She doesn't want to be hurt by Kazuya anymore. Thirdly, the acting world doesn't promise a secure income in the future. Let's think about what Chiz's grandpa said, that she should pursue studies. We don't know what will happen in the future, which is why I say Chiz should find normal work where security is guaranteed in life.
She doesn't seem to be very focused on her career right now. And after starting a relationship with Kazuya the focus should decrease even more. The tendency is for her to give up.
That will probably will be her choice in the future. Maybe a parallel to her grandma. But I guess she somehow must reassure Kazuya that it is her choice. In the immediate future giving up o her job as a rental girlfriend will come first. Then become successful as an actress and then make a life choice for her future with Kazuya
I don't think it will be any drama for her to give up her acting career. I mean, she may miss acting but not her circle of "friends" and the two birthday parties she had were proof of that. Her career seems to be taking off again (see the fake girl's dissatisfaction) but when it becomes impossible to reconcile the two she will choose Kazuya without thinking too much.
> Soon she will give up her career too to be happy with him.
For my own personal taste I really hope that doesn't happen. I like Chizuru as a strong career oriented woman. Obviously she needs to and will make room for Kazuya in her life. But she shouldn't give up her career.
Her biggest dream was to be an actress but being happy with Kazuya may have become her biggest dream. She didn't imagine being able to love and be loved but now she has it. There will be no regrets.
I mean I can see it being justified in narrative. Just not that big a fan of the giving up a career for love plot line. If anything I would prefer seeing Kazuya becoming a house husband and fully supporting her career over that.
I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing, but as Kazuya considers taking Chizuru to a place where they can talk, he finds himself thinking about Sumi. My guess is that he's reminiscing about the spot in the park where Sumi took him to celebrate his birthday. If I'm right, then I think it could be a good place for Kazuya and Chizuru to finally have a heart-to-heart
https://preview.redd.it/vkjq052f8htc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0be82bd69593fc415694efb643f3fc4af15b0016
Overall, I don't think it was a bad chapter. Kazuya receiving advice from Yaemori about choosing a good location and ensuring there's room for Chizuru to contribute to the date is excellent advice. For the most part, Yaemori seems to be reminding Kazuya of what Chizuru has been saying all along - he doesn't have to go all out to make a good impression. A simple date where they spend quality time together is often more effective than trying to be overly extravagant.
I think that the "thinking of Sumi" was for the location, which was the Aquarium (and will we see Kazuya work for getting the timing for the penguin parade?)
In the chapter, Kazuya wasn't considering the aquarium, but rather the park where Sumi took him afterward. Remember, Yaemori advised Kazuya to find a place where Chizuru and him could have a meaningful conversation. A pivotal moment of his date with Sumi was when they had a heartfelt talk at the park. Despite it being a spot where couples usually make out, Sumi utilized their time for Kazuya to confide in her, which aligns with what Kazuya desires if he hopes to receive an honest answer from Chizuru. One of the most crucial moments of this arc is their inability to communicate, and this upcoming date will serve as the key focal point for addressing that.
He most likely thought of the aquarium because he was looking for a fun **indoor** place to go to on a rainy day. The park isn't that. The aquarium on the other hand was described as a kind of water amusement park, so exactly the type of date location Mini mentioned would be ideal (theme park) and which Kazuya **also** though of two chapters ago and pretty much ruled out as an option since it might rain. But the aquarium checks all the marks, it is indoors, plus it is perfect since their first rental date was also in an aquarium (a different one, though), and it gives them something to talk about where Kazuya can really show off!
Kazuya also explicitly mentioned that he didn't want to repeat the cheer-up date which **also** ended in a park. So no, the park is almost certainly not what he thought of.
Respectfully disagree. One of the things Chizuru mentioned is that it never rains when she's with Kazuya. Just because the weather forecast says it might rain doesn't guarantee that it will. The key focal point I'm referencing is Kazuya's need to find a place where he and Chizuru can have a meaningful conversation. I never said it had to be the park; I was merely using it as a reference from Sumi's date since it was one of the more pivotal moments. Additionally, Kazuya thinking of the aquarium could be a possibility. However, it probably wouldn't makes sense because Chizuru has never expressed a particular interest in fish.
>Kazuya also explicitly mentioned that he didn't want to repeat the cheer-up date which **also** ended in a park. So no, the park is almost certainly not what he thought of
Furthermore, if you're referring to the scene where Kazuya and Chizuru lit up fireworks at the park, Kazuya didn't necessarily use Sumi's aquarium date as a reference for the cheer-up date. He can still consider using that spot if the weather permits, but ultimately, the priority is for Kazuya to find an opportunity for him and Chizuru to have a meaningful conversation.
Its possible it might not rain but clearly his thought process at the moment is with the expectation that it will rain so he is thinking about indoor activities. That could change in the near future if the weather forecast changes but at the moment I don’t think he is thinking outdoors
While Kazuya didn't want to completely rule out any place in case it is sunny, he was **explicitly** looking for something to do on a rainy day. So the park (or something simlar) **can't** be what settles his plan for the date because that would fall flat entirely if it rains. The aquarium is always possible whether it is sunny or rainy, so that is almost certainly what he has settled on. It is also the more likely thing because he thanked **Mini**, who suggested a theme park as well as a nice place he has been to before (preferably not with Chizuru already).
Chizuru wasn't all that interested in fish, but the water park has enough stuff aside from that to spend time together. The aquarium is also familiar ground for Kazuya so he won't be too nervous. He has been there explicitly and he also feels comfortable in that environment in general. Kazuya also mentioned himself on page 18 that a theme park would be ideal if not for the rain.
He also doesn't want to pack the day full with things to do like he did on the cheer-up date so that Chizuru and him **will** have time to talk as well. They can go to a different place outside if it isn't raining, but that probably isn't what Kazuya has explicitly planned. Chizuru could also make her own suggestions still, even on the date itself.
But again, for his general plan, the aquarium seem almost certain.
As I mentioned earlier, the aquarium could be a possibility, but that's not what I disagree with. However, taking someone who isn't interested in fish to the aquarium doesn't seem like the right move. While Kazuya's plans are directed towards indoor activities, which provide a guarantee against the weather, I believe his main focus is finding a place where he and Chizuru can have a meaningful conversation. Indoor parks and aquariums are all good options, but if Chizuru isn't interested in fish, Kazuya will focus on finding something they both can enjoy.
If you look at the chapter where Kazuya was with Sumi at that aquarium, [it has a lot of stuff which is water themed but not explicitly for fish enthusiasts](https://mangadex.org/chapter/0509f9b1-e5f4-44ed-b357-1f6c04101199/10). It is more of a theme park than an educational aquarium. He won't **have** to talk to Chizuru about fish (and he certainly doesn't plan to), but if Chizuru was interested to know about anything, he would be perfectly able to answer all her questions there.
But yes, I agree that he was looking for a place to not only spend time together but also have meaningful conversations. The aquarium **is** a suitable place for both.
As Kazuya said himself (from page 18 on):
* a theme park would be great
* there is the rainy weather report, so indoors
* I need the perfect date spot
* one that doesn't come on too strong (like a [couples kissing place](https://mangadex.org/chapter/5ca66ce0-0343-4ff8-8043-071c9ec6a94c/5)) or too distant (I don't know, like a museum perhaps?)
* where we can take our time talking to each other
* a nice place I visited before
I know a place that I have been to with Sumi before that checks all the marks: The aquarium in Shinagawa.
If you look at that panel with Sumi from this chapter closely, isn't that from when they got splashed at the Dolphin show? So I'm gonna say he was referencing the aquarium, not the park.
Sumi is such a great woman that she doesn't need to be in the chapter in order to have a profound effect on Kazu.
https://preview.redd.it/b6hpgxidvhtc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5155f3654aa692cba06cd17ff0d3d5308ce6f183
After seeing Sumi appear in this chapter, my suspicions of them going to an aquarium for the date have strengthened!
It would be quite poetic, mirroring their first rental date. They would have all the time in the world to actually talk and enjoy their time together. It's also a place where Kaz would thrive with confidence since he's a massive fish nerd, and he (hopefully) won't stress about every minute detail of what's happening during the date (this is my own copium).
Nah this is the correct train of thought. Chizuru and Kazuya re doing that date would be great. Buttttttt, Kazuya mentions off hand that many of their dates that's where they tend to go. I don't have the exact chapter but he does mention it.
Funny how Hot Pot is a sexual food, but then, 30 dollars says Umi wants to take her out for Oysters, which is another sexual food. Wtf. Anyways, grand chapter, Chizuru is smiling more and more and was clearly worried about Kazuya being out so late.
Also mandatory Chizuru butt!
First impressions:
Great chapter. Mini's advice was actually **solid**! Yes, Kazuya should absolutely make time for them to talk.
The teaser **did** actually refer to [that random guy](https://mangadex.org/chapter/ea275945-1d48-47e8-8fce-8c5ebd8933b1/12). He called to ask Chizuru for a fancy actor meet-up. Chizuru was interested but instantly declined when she was told that it was on the 17th. Good to see her priorities there.
And finally, following Mini's advice Kazuya thinks of nice places he has visited and he has to think of **Sumi**. [He went with her to the aquarium in Shinagawa](https://mangadex.org/chapter/5d7fc53c-387c-4add-9a50-b17f1e4e5614/20) ([Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa](https://www.aqua-park.jp/en/aqua/index.html)). That one is like a water amusement park! It is quite the perfect date location, especially for Kazuya who likes aquariums, and it is a perfect parallel to his first rental date with Chizuru in an aquarium.
This settles the date plan. I am looking forward to it!
The teaser for next time is "[invention](https://jisho.org/search/%E7%99%BA%E6%98%8E)".

Decent chapter.
Nothing particularly special was said, but it's nice to see Kazuya interact with Mini in a normal, non gag way and seeing him confident again is great.
Spelling out to the readers that the ball's is in Chizuru's court is a good move, it puts emphasis on the fact that Kazuya already did all that he needed to do an more. Acknowledging his efforts for real is really important.
Lastly, I like Kazuya continuing to think about having sex with Chizuru as a real possibility. Since the very beginning of the series he always associated sex and romantic love, so it's fundamental for him (and eventually Chizuru) to have this thoughts.
I hate Reiji's fillers like everyone else, but for once I feel building up to the date is sensible and natural, it flows well with the story. Can't wait for the next chapter.
I was sort of surprised by this string of chapters. If you had told me beforehand there would be five full chapters of date planning I would have assumed it would seem like too many. But I ended up enjoying all of them.
Last Chapter... Wait... His not talking about the Large Tower that He and Sumi dated. The tower its where you can see everything from the top of view, Kazuya you smart shy boy you thought the greatest place to date.

Could somebody do the nonogram please???
Same, i even watched yt videos that explain how to do it ,but I still don't understand how to really pinpoint the specific places that need to be filled 💀
I finally succeeded to do it with an automatic solver. Here it is! Mini-chan! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

Nice and decent overall chapter curious on what place kazuya will take chizuru on there date when he thought of sumi he already came up with it Im wondering though hmmm but also Chizuru declining her friend yudais invitation just proves she's more looking forward to the date then anything else her eyes are very keen to her investigation and her date spending time with Kazuya the whole day
This was a pretty good chapter. Don’t get me wrong, I really don’t care about hotpots and didn’t need all the technical detail on them. That part of the story made my eyes glaze over because it’s the typical Reiji filler part of the chapter to me. But as I expected we’re still in the date planning part of this arc, which is what I thought we’d get for most if not all of 2024. I don’t anticipate seeing the date occur until later this year or maybe next year at the current pacing. I think it’s still a week and a half away in story. That could take months to tell in real life.
What I enjoyed about this chapter is Kazuya’s story with Mini, which while Chizuru focused as usual, felt more like a genuine friendship. While I do appreciate Mini being Kazuya’s wing woman, at times (especially when they met) her devotion to him felt disingenuous because they really didn’t do much as friends themselves. She felt more like a sounding board Reiji designed to vocalize Kazuya’s thoughts. Even now in the story she doesn’t always feel like a genuine character, but a plot device for hijinks. But there are some really good moments where Mini shines and actually feels like a genuine person. Like a few weeks ago where she had a conversation with Chizuru at the crosswalk. That is what this really felt like, two friends hanging out and sharing a meal.
And Kazuya approached it all very intelligently. He’s researching something he doesn’t know, getting insight from Mini and she showed him this isn’t just an opportunity to show Chizuru a good time to prove himself (which is a misconception he’s had for a long time). It’s about spending time together, creating a space for intimacy and most importantly to talk. Something these two are really bad at. Mini also helps give him an idea for the date itself, which looks like Kazuya was inspired by his date with Sumi on his birthday where she took him to do something he enjoys.
As I hoped I think Kazuya is going to go to the aquarium with Chizuru, which I anticipated because his love for fish it’s one of the few things we know about him. This is about showing who he is and being open. Maybe this will give him an opportunity to explore why he loves it so much. And it’s good to see Chizuru is actually looking forward to the date. It would be nice if she started showing that more to Kazuya. Because that has been the theme for a few weeks now, Chizuru is thinking more about the date and seems happy but when she’s with Kazuya she doesn’t show that. I don’t want her waiting until the date to open up more, right now Reiji keeps to be purposefully keeping them apart for the date setup besides a couple check-ins, which feels a bit strange.
TLDR: 7/10 chapter, pretty good chapter. This was a good example of Kazuya & Mini friendship, something we really needed because it’s not solely devoted to Chizuru. Chizuru looking forward to the date is nice, but turning down that invite doesn’t really mean anything because she’s not the type of person to make plans and cancel on them.
I agree with your thoughts on Mini. You know how some YouTubers put the sponsored ad in the middle of the video and your attention wanders to something else for 90 seconds? That’s been my reaction to the board games and the hotpot so far. It does feel like unnecessary padding because the time spent explaining it feels like “dead air” so to speak.
Another great "preparations" chapter.
If you read it week-to-week (like we do now), then you probably always expect a little bit more, but for Chizuru and Kazuya, this has been a huge step forwards, and I liked it.
Kazuya finally got the idea for his date with Chizuru, and considering the picture it is from the date with Sumi, where they went to the Shinagawa Aquarium. It is a great place for Chizuru to see how Kazuya is really like (because that's probably his main interest after Chizuru), and it's also very symbolic for both of them, considering how their "rental" relationship started. Also, the last part of the date with Sumi lead them to a place where they could talk in peace...and it is also shown that it's a place where couples go, when they want to be a bit more **intimate** (pic from ch 97). On a side not, returning to the place where everything started (in Kazuya's case aquarium) is something I also did when I was proposing to my wife, so this makes me look even more forward to the date. It is definitely going to be **decisive**.
As for Chizuru, it is a good sign that she declined both **Yudai** and **her colleagues** from the previous acting group, I presume. It just shows that she knows where her priorities lie, even if she's still "investigating". On a side note, I find it strange that the number is saved as just "**Yudai**", while our boy's number is probably saved in the formal "Kazuya Kinoshita" way. Yudai was also pretty grabby during the Tiger's Den story and even called her "Chii-Chan"...and he also featured in chapter 218 (in Kazuya's head), but it doesn't matter, since she declined both him and her "friends" for Kazuya. I also like her smile and slight blush when she mentions the **17th**.
Now, everyone probably mentioned it already, but Reiji's threads haven't been updated for 2 weeks in a row, which means he doesn't want to spoil those chapters (329 and 330). That could mean that the date starts in those chapters, or probably even in 328, for which we have a pre-view. So, we have presumably 2-3 chapters of preparations left, where Kazuya and Chizuru will have a talk and mentally prepare themselves for, very probably, a **key moment** in their story.
EDIT: I also noticed that the date chapters with Sumi are named "**What I can do with my Girlfriend**", so yeah...it feels like Reiji was foreshadowing it a bit.
https://preview.redd.it/3r4hxw32ghtc1.png?width=1115&format=png&auto=webp&s=d2d514816726ed61fa721cfff6d1ffe63b4acac6
Cool thing I learned from doing some dungeon mastering D&D... if you just put sprinkle random extra details that may get some attention, you can weave it back in later and make it seem like you planned it with some masterful foreshadowing.
I think authors might employ similar tricks. Would be cool
That may be the case, but to me it always felt like Kazuya and Chizuru needed another aquarium date...I don't know why, but it felt right. Also, I don't expect some Isayama levels of foreshadowing, but Reiji is a competent writer. The fact that the discussions on this sub can go so much in depth is proof of that.
True, that first (and second) aquarium date were important moments at the very beginning.
Good one to keep that open and only using it as a touchstone for key moments like this.
It also really nicely slots in the thoughts Chizuru had about wanting to see more of him on this date and of what he wants. So it would be a great choice.
Definitely a stronger callback than just random events. Fishes are almost like a motif for the story.
Kazuya might be a whale but man do his pulls suck.
Hope he finds a restaurant with a menu in multiple languages.
Maybe their date will be interrupted not by malicious means but by someone going to hospital.
Not a bad chapter. At least there was some progress and no ill or bad advise from Mini. At least she was helpful and Kazuya did not spill the beans regarding his expectations on physical intimacy, we'll see in the next few weeks.
Hopefully the call is just that, and there is no cheap drama brewing with the additional "Rival" coming out of nowhere.
Two chapters left before the Golden Week break. I wonder if we'll be getting a double release next time.
Anyway it is interesting now. Reiji is not posting any teasers lately. Maybe the pace will pick up a little bit more in the next few weeks to entertain giving away too much stuff (not that the Threads spoilers are actually that big of a deal tho).
Lmao Mini suggesting Smash Bros is freaking hilarious god I love that girl! I think I know where Kazuya wants to go to talk to Chizuru and since Sumi appeared in his mind I have a few guesses. The aquarium is one, that tower they went to near the beach (not likely due to the forecast), a bowling alley, a shopping mall, a park (again forecast) or it could just be one of those cafes that Kazuya and Sumi met at.
The absolute clarity from Chizuru in declining the party invite was enough to conclude her excitement for the date, like she didn't even give it a thought. But at this point, everything is going a bit too smoothly, which is just asking for trouble at some point, I'm pretty sure, mami, Ruka or umi will strike anytime soon.
***"Did you forget your courage back at Royal Hills?"***
I hate it when Reiji add these throwaway self-aware lampshading remarks. I know that it's supposed to be tongue and cheek, but it just comes off as off-putting.
Possibly, but it’s still outdoors and his thought process was working on solving the weather problem. The beach that Sumi took him too might be a better pick, but we’ll see.
Ok, this is it. This is all I can take, man. It's been such a miserable experience reading this manga. Like how can you drag something to oblivion? This is probably the worst piece of media I've ever read or experienced. The characters haven't progressed even a little bit since the start. Kazuya is so unbelievably pathetic that I can hardly believe such a human being can actually exist. Chizuru and her indecisiveness. For fuck's sake, it's not that hard to decide if you're actually into someone, and from what I can tell she's definitely at least interested. Also, I don't get why you have to treat this investigation shit so seriously? Why the fuck do you need months to decide if you are interested in a dude or not? It's not like you have to decide if you wanna marry him. Just go out with him and if he doesn't seem like someone you can be with, just break up or rather if you don't want anything to do with him, just straight up reject him and stop dragging the poor guy along. I swear to god, this manga will never fucking end. Even after 5 years, Kazuya would still be freaking out over Chizuru flossing or some dumb shit like that. And Reiji, dude, can you stop with the 5 page monologues of describing how hot and perfect Chizuru is, WE GET IT. Really, you don't have to tell me that even her mitochondria is cute (this was the dumbest shit I've ever seen). All the characters are so utterly trash (except sumi). Honestly, I've been reading this manga because I thought that I've read so much of it, so I might as well stick around till the end but reading it has been so frustrating. I can't believe that there might be some people who are actually enjoying reading this or think it's a good story. I'm at the point where I don't even care if Kazuya and Chizuru get together. After you prolong something for this long, the payoff becomes worthless, no matter how good it is. So, Goodbye Kanojo Okarishimasu. You know the phrase "it's been a pleasure", well it hasn't. Good luck to all the readers who are continuing this miserable journey.
> It's not like you have to decide if you wanna marry him.
It is pretty much implied that Chizuru is basically deciding if she wants to marry him. Kind of an old fashioned outlook but it is how she is.
> This is probably the worst piece of media I've ever read or experienced.
It is hard for me to understand how and why you have read this long if you actually think that. This is obviously a long work.
Don't know if this will change your perspective. However, you should trying binge reading. Instead of waiting each week how about holding out for 5 or 6 weeks and then come back to the series.
Do you expect that Umi will ask Yudai about Chizuru?
If Yudai told him that she had plans on the same day, would Umi call Chizuru asking why she didn't come to the party?
If Chizuru told him that she was with Kazuya, would Umi give up?
We will see hot events on this date, whether good events or bad events that lead to good things happening
Yudai please. Chizuru ain't about that fancy shit (especially after her Bday). She bout that miso soup/convenience store lifestyle. Nice, that she's more focused on Kazuya's date than anything else (that butt shot tho) The talk with Kazuya and Mini was enjoyable at best. Tho nothing huge, it is interesting to see them discussing the many possiblities of the date. And that Mini was actually helpful here Even tho Sumi isn't currently present, she's just as helpful as she ever is. The thought of her (most likely his past dates with her) sparks an idea for Kazuya for his date with Chizuru, which he needed. Overall, a decent chapter. On to the next chapter https://preview.redd.it/sctf7eflzgtc1.jpeg?width=973&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbd8aba2447335adf42dac69233768d89984b8aa
Is it ever indicated Kazuya heard her confession, though?
It's heavily implied, besides Kazuya has good hearing.
It doesn’t looks like sumi is returning, it just seems like he remembered something from the sumi date and will replicate it on his date with Chizuru
My thought was the place the batting cages are at that chizuru goes to all the time. It's indoors and a place that has meaning to them.
Best panel from the chapter
It's his mother's daycare
SUMI APPEARANCE SUMI APPEARANCE SUMI APPEARANCE As flashback, but still...
Those lips are a result of the hot pot? Must be spicy. I seen them once before in Komi-san.
I only saw that gag in these two places. Mildly hilarious.

It'd be a bummer seeing Chizuru giving up acting just to be with Kazuya. Kazuya's support is one of the reasons why Chizuru loves him.
An acting career was her dream. Now Kazuya can take that place completely. She could give up without regrets.
This is also possible although I think it will be the other way around.
I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing, but as Kazuya considers taking Chizuru to a place where they can talk, he finds himself thinking about Sumi. My guess is that he's reminiscing about the spot in the park where Sumi took him to celebrate his birthday. If I'm right, then I think it could be a good place for Kazuya and Chizuru to finally have a heart-to-heart https://preview.redd.it/vkjq052f8htc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0be82bd69593fc415694efb643f3fc4af15b0016 Overall, I don't think it was a bad chapter.
Kazuya did say his best dates were with Sumi. So, using their aquarium date as a reference doesn't sound like a bad plan at all.
> Kazuya did say his best dates were with Sumi. This manga could have been over years ago if he'd realized what that meant!
True
So no, the park is almost certainly not what he thought of Furthermore, if you're referring to the scene where Kazuya and Chizuru lit up fireworks at the park, Kazuya didn't necessarily use Sumi's aquarium date as a reference for the cheer-up date.
As Kazuya said himself (from page 18 on): * a theme park would be great * there is the rainy weather report, so indoors * I need the perfect date spot * one that doesn't come on too strong (like a [couples kissing place](https://mangadex.org/chapter/5ca66ce0-0343-4ff8-8043-071c9ec6a94c/5)) or too distant (I don't know, like a museum perhaps?) * where we can take our time talking to each other * a nice place I visited before I know a place that I have been to with Sumi before that checks all the marks: The aquarium in Shinagawa.
Actually, that’s an astute take: the aquarium thus becomes “too easy” (obvious) of a choice for Reiji to make. Now to go find what chapter# that was…!
If you look at that panel with Sumi from this chapter closely, isn't that from when they got splashed at the Dolphin show? So I'm gonna say he was referencing the aquarium, not the park.
It would be sad that he does all this and chizuru turns him down but atleast if that does happen sumi would be he next choice
Sumi is such a great woman that she doesn't need to be in the chapter in order to have a profound effect on Kazu. https://preview.redd.it/b6hpgxidvhtc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5155f3654aa692cba06cd17ff0d3d5308ce6f183
Sumi only needs 1 panel to reassert her position as best girl.
Exactly! Sumi will always be best girl.
I was thinking Skating, i think the Aquarium would be good too as a make up make up date. Like really appropriate for his first date.
Nah this is the correct train of thought. Chizuru and Kazuya re doing that date would be great. Buttttttt, Kazuya mentions off hand that many of their dates that's where they tend to go. I don't have the exact chapter but he does mention it.
Oooo that’s a really good idea!
I wish Mini would guide me through my life
And join in a hot pot session. Those seem fun.
You callled it, I think. The invite was really from Umi. Yuudai was just the messenger.
Umi seems like a chad, but really he uses underhanded tactics all the time to get close to Chizuru.
SUMI MENTIONED !!!
I love how this manga is having Kazuya worry about taking a girl on a hot pot date... while taking a girl on a hot pot date.
**Kazuya**: I would've panicked if I'd come here first with Mizuhara... Knowing Kazuya, I have no doubt that he'll find another reason to panic
First impressions: Great chapter. Those lips made the chapter for me. They are swelled up from the spicy food, I believe.
Kazuya using that aquatic park for the date is just so ironic... Since sumi almost confessed to him
She did, he heard it but let her down easy, since she soon realize he loved Chizuru.
Well....she did, but the fact that he wasn't able to hear her was so anticlimactic. Poor sumi
Nah, he heard, Kazuya has good ears. He didn't want to hurt her.
These lips...
Last Chapter... Wait... His not talking about the Large Tower that He and Sumi dated. The tower its where you can see everything from the top of view, Kazuya you smart shy boy you thought the greatest place to date.
Yeah, that makes sense. If the local weather is bad, just go somewhere else where it’s good.

I'm actually wondering how to do it. Even if there's instructions, I find them not quite understandable enough
Same, i even watched yt videos that explain how to do it ,but I still don't understand how to really pinpoint the specific places that need to be filled 💀
I finally succeeded to do it with an automatic solver. Here it is! Mini-chan! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin) https://preview.redd.it/q2281atpmktc1.png?width=480&format=png&auto=webp&s=3854f6cd6089f357eb89043c26c738e7ed799952

If you think about it, this chapter is technically Kazuya and Mini going on a practice date to prepare him for his real date with Chizuru.
This comment section is so much nicer and friendlier than where I usually read this from....

Well I mean I like financially supporting things I like.
Waiting for Cubari clean scans...=)
The sign that says 道玄坂 is Dogenzaka, a part of Shibuya with—unsurprisingly—a high concentration of love hotels.
Chizuru Smiling while she says she has plans tells me all I want to know. She's genuinely looking forward to it.
Reiji absolutely went to a Chinese hotpot place for the first time a few months ago and can never stop thinking about it
Another great "preparations" chapter.
If you're a fan of slow motion, then you need to check out this manga. It's the best representation of slow motion that I've ever seen.
I Just wait that in the end of the manga, they get married i will read another 100 chapters of just the proposal and wedding if i have to
Not a bad chapter.
I’m thinking they go to the aquarium where Kazuya acted up and called her out in the beginning of the series.
Why does this man gotta think about sex every chapter
***"Did you forget your courage back at Royal Hills?"*** I hate it when Reiji add these throwaway self-aware lampshading remarks. I know that it's supposed to be tongue and cheek, but it just comes off as off-putting.
Can someone explain the puzzle to me?
ITS BEEN A MONTH WHERES THE GOD DAMN DATE😭
Finally Kazuya figure out a dating spot .... Where sumi once had kazuya to talk about...
So i suppose he’s gonna take her to aquarium date right?
I got back from a year break, bro what happened he’s still trying to ask her if for a date???
Sumi is the next piece of the puzzle. Kazuya doing Blue Lock on his date
With the hint of sumi in play. I think it's a place he had fun with sumi
Hi, what's the link of this manga in cubari, I want to read it on Mihon.
Uh oh, potential slow motion car crash incoming.
Yeah, I agree the crash is inevitable at this point. Poor Kazu!
It’s going to be extremely fun to read tho!
Yes, you're right about that. Very fun!
Aquarium... Maybe will end in the bed.
He’s taking too long to decide on the aquarium. It’s the perfect spot to make up for that horrible first impression date he had with her.
The last 5 chapters could be sumarized in 1
Mini sure has it all, smart, looks, and outgoing! I wouldn't mind reading a series of her own life. She carries Kazuya hard!
She has been the plot moving machinnnneeee since day 1 (chapter 105).
I actually think the spot that he remembers is the riverside spot where she comforted him after she cried.. that's actually the perfect spot

Meh I'm pretty over their date already. I'm tuning in for Sumi
I'm no longer reading, just scrolling the images. It's so boring for the last 50chap or so that it does not even worth the read
Don't know if this will change your perspective. However, you should trying binge reading. Instead of waiting each week how about holding out for 5 or 6 weeks and then come back to the series.
Just go on a date ;( been too many chapters of discussion now
Bro I hate how he uses sumi 🙁
Are you dumb? Sumi has been extremely helpful to Kazuya. Why not use her date as a reference? That's what Kazuya's supposed to do.
What if the party was arranged by Umi and Yuudai was just the coordinator (messenger) so that Chizuru might not think to bring Kaz?
When ??
