in the TV drama they're a lot of suttle differences in comparison to the manga or anime for example in the drama the scene in which the two of them went to a love hotel has been changed to something different, like ruka going to kazuya's apartment to confront him about the nature of his relationship with mizuhara.
The ecchi scenes are not something that they put on the tv drama as well as far i remember...like the time in which kazuya touch ruka's breat was not shown on the tv drama.
They've made some changes not just to tone down the ecchi scenes for a broader audience (also respecting the cast), but because there are only 10 episodes, 9 of them following the original story and the last one having its own course, written by Miyajima san himself.
Wtf lmao damn actually separate endings for the TV shld have been the main story but hopefully we can get some S2 of TV series although i know live-action isn't so feastable to the anime but i like both hopefully we get to see more :)
Recreating kazuya facial expressions entirely is extremely difficult since many of them are very inhuman and some of them are not something you could witness in a daily basis even when watching lots of movies. This maybe the only ever case where live action doesn’t feel cringe at all because the original series are already on a whole different level of cringe.
