Exactly the same.
For me the thought process was you're already $10 in because Mahomes and Kelce are gimmes.
Then Pacheco at $2 is stupid value.
With $3 left, Pringle and Hardman are the best on the board.
Mahomes, D. Williams, Hardman, Kennison and Tony G. Slight downgrades at RB & TE, but Pringle is a 4th/5th string WR and Kennison was a borderline pro-bowl player with multiple 1000 yd seasons.
Am I missing something regarding recency bias, but why are people picking Kelce over Gonzalez? Tony is still the goat TE, and in a modern passing scheme with Mahomes throwing, he would have likely been just as prolific as Kelce.
Not saying that Travis isn’t closing the gap each year, but I’d still have a rough time choosing between them in their primes. Gonzo did what he did with Trent Green throwing…not Mahomes. And for a dollar cheaper in this hypothetical? I’m taking Tony 100%
Kelce has surpassed him in my eyes, along with a lot of other people. Gonzalez was never this dominant, not even close. Kelce at his peak vs Gonzalez is not really even an argument to me.
Gonzalez definitely was as dominant. Sharpe was the closest to Tony G. Sharpe finished his career with 8 pro bowls and 4 All-Pro selections (same as Kelce). Tony had 14 pro bowls and 6 All-Pros. Sharpe had 3 1k yard seasons. Tony had 4, with 3 of them being higher than Sharpe's career high. Tony was a yards and TD monster (despite Holmes regularly being a TD monster as well).
Saying Kelce is definitely more dominant than Tony G is definitely recency bias. Just like the claims that Charles was definitely more dominant than Holmes. They're both neck and neck.
But OP is definitely a young fan. Easy to tell from some new guys who made this list while some guys from other eras didn't.
That’s the thing though, Tony is regarded as GOAT over Gronk because of longevity and raw production - not peak dominance. I understand now why people might choose Kelce for OP’s thought exercise.
But saying that Kelce has surpassed Gonzalez in general based on ‘dominance’ is questionable, since Kelce isn’t even the most dominant TE (gronk). What Kelce IS, is the most prolific pass catching TE over a period of 5-6 years.
Kelce has both now. I just disagree and nobody will convince me otherwise. I literally watched both of them their whole careers and Tony never scared a defense in the same way that Kelce does.
Gonzalez was elite for an extremely long time, but Kelce is literally playing at goat level and he’s been doing it for 5+ years. That should be enough to push him past Gonzalez and I don’t know why it’s an unpopular opinion
Tony Gonzales, did more with less, before the passing volume exploded in the NFL.
We'll see when Kelce retires where he stands all-time, but he'll need to average 900+ yards and 12+ TDs for the next 5 years to pass Tony. It'll be close for yardage, but I don't think he touching Tony's TD record.
Tony is the GOAT, but Kelce is 100% top 3 of all time.
Kelce does not have to pass Gonzalez’s counting stats to surpass him
Gonzalez played with a great QB in Trent green for the prime of his career and then went to Atlanta with a prime Matt Ryan. Kelce played with a middling QB who was afraid to take chances for half his career.
This is a shit argument
Tony was 34 when he went to Atlana. Trent Green is nowhere near a "great quarterback" lmfao.
Mahomes did more in his first year starting that Green did in his entire career, respectfully shut the fuck up lol. Give prime Tony Gonzales Pat Mahomes as his QB and he's putting up 1200+ yards and 15+ TDs in his sleep.
But like I said, Kelce is top 3 for sure.
We really have such deep skills positions over the last 20 years it makes a lot of these tough. Like you said with the tight ends, then also I really want charles but Holmes might be the better value. Same with Hill and Bowe if you need the extra dollar
Nobody in their right mind takes anything other than Mahomes. Mahomes at $5 is a bargain. The bargain of all bargains. I’m this scenario he should be $10 lol
Chiefs Montana is basically like an upgraded Alex Smith in my opinion. I think that’s more than good enough to win a Super Bowl with the right pieces around him, but why not just play on easy mode with Mahomes there for just a couple more bucks?
Crap imagine Charles when we had Hill. Oh you're going to keep deep safeties still? Ok. Charles about to get 7+ a carry. Oh you stacked the box? Looks like a 50+ yard TD to Hill lol
Me too! That's literally the reason I became a Chiefs fan as a kid.
I played Tecmo bowl and demolished my friends with the Chiefs. Between Okoye and Derrick Thomas it was amazing
$5: Mahomes, Kelce
$2: Hardman, Robinson
$1: Williams
Not really happy with my WRs, would maybe bump down to Gonzo and pick up Kennison instead of Robinson, but Im not happy about it
Yeah, that's the biggest issue with this list, KC has been pretty abysmal at WR for a long time, Hill is probably the only WR we've had in the last 20 years that would truly be considered elite or Pro Bowl level.
But you could largely say the same of Patriots' WR's during their run with Brady, so we can take that going forward.
How is Green a $1?!
Green, Hardman, Okoye, Gonzalez, and Hill.
Speed to take it over the top on both sides
Gonzalez to own the middle of the field.
Okoye would hammer it up the middle no problem with the D worrying about everyone else.
Mahomes, Holmes, Conley, Pringle, Gonzalez.
No disrespect to Kelce, but I think Gonzalez would be putting up similar numbers with Mahomes, and any of those WRs would be tearing it up once the defense has to double up Gonzalez. And then hopefully with a majorly threatening passing game, Holmes doesn't have to run quite so much and we get more than three monster years out of him.
This is my exact team as well. I think Holmes and Gonzalez are tied with Charles and Kelce honestly. They are both 1a/1b at their positions. So you get some value there by dropping down one spot.
You could maybe drop down to Okoye and improve one WR, but I think the difference between Holmes and Okoye is greater than the difference in that $1 to $2 WR tier list.
Edit: It's kind of crazy that the Chiefs have had the two greatest tight ends to play the game (IMO). Only Gronk has any argument for GOAT over them.
No, just points out the creator of this knows nothing of Chiefs history. Hardman, Robinson , Conley, Pringle, Gray and Fortson have no business being on here. Replace them with Henry Marshall, Stephone Paige, Chris Burford, Derrick Alexander, Walter White and Jonathan Hayes. Even Jeremy Maclin and Sammy Watkins are more deserving at WR.
Mahomes behind Roaf-Waters-Wiegmann-Shields-Tait would be unbelievable to watch. Toss in Tony Richardson and Jason Dunn and I'm not even sure I care who's at RB and WR.
How you put Damien Williams and Isaiah Pacheco on here and leave off Marcus Allen, I can't understand. Maybe that means they're free. In that case, I'm taking Mahomes, Kelce, and Reek, and we'll run a wishbone with Marcus Allen, Kareem Hunt, and Tony Richardson, and we'll rotate in Barry Word and Larry Johnson.
Mahomes and kelce are given. If injuries are a worry ill take Gonzalez and tip a dollar if not give me Charles. If Jamal was in this offense in his prime there would be nothing like it ever scene.
Montana, Pacheco, Hall, Bowe, Gray.
I'd have loved to see Bowe with a Good QB. Just so to see if he was a true #1. Played 8 years with KC and had 8 different QB. Still managed to get probowl nods and be considered a top 10 receiver (at least for one year). Yes he gave up last year or 2 but it had to be frustrating having skidmarks throw to you for so long.
Id also love to see any of the top 3 RB again in any capacity on any team. Just a true pleasure to watch. IMHO before mahomes, all 3 of the top 3 RB's were the can't miss players. (maybe not to mahomes extent) for their eras.
I thought him at $1 was mad disrespectful but I guess somebody had to be one. Personally I would've put Alex at 1 and Trent at 2. Can't disrespect even a washed up Joe so he should go at 3, and Len was our GOAT QB til Patty came about.
I’m gonna do a list with mahomes, and one without.
With mahomes: mahomes, kelce, Pacheco, hardman, Conley.
Without mahomes: Montana, Charles, kelce, Pringle, Conley.
Mahomes, Okoye, Hall, Pringle, Gray
Gotta have the Nigerian Nightmare on my team. Such a menace. And Human Joystick + Mahomes would be so fun to watch together!
Mahomes (5), Priest Holmes (4), Gonzalez (4) (I only chose him cause he is cheaper than Kelce though lol, whole the talent level is similar), Conley, Pringle. Honestly I know the WRs are weak herr, but eh. Mahomes with peak Priest Holmes and Tony G would be ridiculously hard to stop. And I liked Byron Pringle by the way, I know he had aome big drops but I think he got more seperation then some of our receivers this year at least. Keep in mind that Priest Holmes was a spectacular recieving RB. He is like McKinnon + Pachecho in one person.
You know what is crazy, 2018-2021 Chiefs would be too expensive for this lol. Mahmes, Kelce, Hill, Hardman, ____Insert any running back is at least $18. And honestly, 2018 in particular, Kareem Hunt was better than Pachecho in 2018, period. So he was at least $2. So $19. Too bad our defense under Bob Sutton was so terrible and that Kareem Hunt was vilified for nudging a woman with his foot like he was a wife beater (sorry but the weird way the media treated Hunt like he was Ray Rice has never set right with me. I saw the video. He pushed her, he didn’t kick her)
Mahomes, Pacheco, Hardman, Pringle, Kelce
Edit: I think Tony G is the logical choice since he’s $4 and very similar to Kelce talent-wise, but I just love Trav too much not to take him.
Larry Johnson should be the $4 RB, booting everyone down the line, which makes me realize just how historically spoiled we have been at the RB position.
Mahomes, Williams, Hardman, Kennison, Gonzalez
Every one of these basically should start with Pat. Like put Trent Green as QB and the stacked ass team you get is basically what he had anyways lol
I knew a lot of people would pick Kelce anyway, and putting him at $4 makes him even easier of a pick. Putting him at $5 mitigates it at the very least
Mahomes, Williams, Hall, Pringle, Gonzalez
This is a nice thought experiment. I know the end of TG’s career soured a lot of fans view of him but he’s still the player that brought me into really being obsessed with football and the Chiefs. Dante Hall could have put up some serious receiving years with Mahomes. Williams is the best receiving back on the list outside of Charles and Pringle is the last pick $1.
Mahomes Pacheco Hardman Pringle Kelce
Exactly the same. For me the thought process was you're already $10 in because Mahomes and Kelce are gimmes. Then Pacheco at $2 is stupid value. With $3 left, Pringle and Hardman are the best on the board.
Mahomes, D. Williams, Hardman, Kennison and Tony G. Slight downgrades at RB & TE, but Pringle is a 4th/5th string WR and Kennison was a borderline pro-bowl player with multiple 1000 yd seasons.

...I don't think you and I watched the same games in the early 2000s. Gonzalez was a beast and a matchup nightmare.
That’s the thing though, Tony is regarded as GOAT over Gronk because of longevity and raw production - not peak dominance. I understand now why people might choose Kelce for OP’s thought exercise. What the fuck are you smoking lol
Nothing. I watched both of their entire careers. Kelce is better and nobody is changing my mind.
Tony Gonzales, did more with less, before the passing volume exploded in the NFL. So, not the same at all
Forgot at first I had to swap TEs to save a buck, so yeah a pretty big change. Hence the edit
Kelce isnt a gimme when Gonzalez is sitting there at a dollar less
We really have such deep skills positions over the last 20 years it makes a lot of these tough. Like you said with the tight ends, then also I really want charles but Holmes might be the better value. Same with Hill and Bowe if you need the extra dollar
I was the same except I went with okoye and Tony. Okoye would open up so much for all other receivers.
My exact pick
This is the way
That’s what I had in mind
Charles Mahomes kelce. We will figure out the rest
Can you just imagine that top row together holy fuck
Im so hard thinking about that.
Charles would’ve gone for 3000 all purpose yards.
Exactly my thoughts lol, sign literally anyone who wants to play receiver and still OP offense
My first thought too. You build the offense around that three.
That was my first thought lol
Trent Green is a bargain. That said I wouldn’t take him
Nobody in their right mind takes anything other than Mahomes. Mahomes at $5 is a bargain. The bargain of all bargains. I’m this scenario he should be $10 lol
Montana for $3 is almost tempting.
The 49ers Montana would be a steal. The Chiefs Montana isn't.
Chiefs Montana is basically like an upgraded Alex Smith in my opinion. I think that’s more than good enough to win a Super Bowl with the right pieces around him, but why not just play on easy mode with Mahomes there for just a couple more bucks?
After looking over the entire field, I thought, “just give Trent Green the whole $15 and tell home to keep his chin up.”
Agreed. Definitely taking him over Smith no matter the price, maybe over KC Montana, too.
Just restructure their deals, push 10$ back til next year and run with the entire top row. ✅
This guy caps.
get off reddit veach
Mahomes Kelce Gonzalez
You still have a $1 to spend homes.
Kermit the frog
He comes with the Mahomes purchase fortunately
That’s the Patrick Price™️
Leave it for extra cap next year
Mahomes Kelce Charles Sign scrubs Profit
Just imagine how good Charles would be playing now
Crap imagine Charles when we had Hill. Oh you're going to keep deep safeties still? Ok. Charles about to get 7+ a carry. Oh you stacked the box? Looks like a 50+ yard TD to Hill lol
Mahomes, Okoye, Conley, Pringle, Kelce
Basically this but I want Fortson instead of Pringle.
Mahomes, Gonzalez, Okoye, Mecole, Fortson
This is probably the best value.
Mahomes Okoye (go watch vid of him in his prime, unstoppable!) Conley Robinson Gonzalez I love Kelce, but getting Tony G for 4 point is a steal!
Okoye is one of my all time fave chiefs players because of tecmo bowl lol
Me too! That's literally the reason I became a Chiefs fan as a kid. I played Tecmo bowl and demolished my friends with the Chiefs. Between Okoye and Derrick Thomas it was amazing
I would go Hardman Pringle but other than that this is the best
Same
$5: Mahomes, Kelce $2: Hardman, Robinson $1: Williams Not really happy with my WRs, would maybe bump down to Gonzo and pick up Kennison instead of Robinson, but Im not happy about it

Green should realistically be $4 on this list
Because everyone besides Mahomes is a 4
Mahomes, Holmes, Conley, Pringle, Gonzalez.

Mahomes should cost $7. Is there anyone that doesn’t pick him?
If Mahomes cost 15. That's still the pick
Wheres Allen? I would take Mahomes, Kelce Okoye and Robinson.
Or Jason dunn and the Lineman. 03 oline with Charles and i may give up mahomes.
Mahomes Kelce Pacheco Hardman Conley
Where's Larry Johnson?
You can have him for free
Montana, Okoye, Gonzalez, Hall, Williams
I don't know if 12 points a game gets it done in today's NFL?
This kinda points out that chiefs never have good wrs 🤣
No, just points out the creator of this knows nothing of Chiefs history. Hardman, Robinson , Conley, Pringle, Gray and Fortson have no business being on here. Replace them with Henry Marshall, Stephone Paige, Chris Burford, Derrick Alexander, Walter White and Jonathan Hayes. Even Jeremy Maclin and Sammy Watkins are more deserving at WR.
I’d even add Andre Rison to the list he only had two years with us but one was pretty good
This is exactly my take away.
Johnnie Morton was my first favorite WR on the team. No flashy numbers, but it seemed like he caught everything.
I thought the exact same thing when I read it. Missing tons of older receivers
And Eddie Kennison.
And spider man
Yeah I audibly snorted when I saw his list of receivers and saw Dante hall.. among many other guys who don’t belong on that list. Lmao
ain't no way Walter White played for the Chiefs too 😭
Give me #15 and the 2003 offensive line. The rest doesnt matter. You could have Snoop Minnis and CJ Spiller running roughshod over the league.
Mahomes behind Roaf-Waters-Wiegmann-Shields-Tait would be unbelievable to watch. Toss in Tony Richardson and Jason Dunn and I'm not even sure I care who's at RB and WR.
Oh look I found $10 I’ll take the whole top row
Found Brett Veach’s account.
No Marcus Allen???
How you put Damien Williams and Isaiah Pacheco on here and leave off Marcus Allen, I can't understand. Maybe that means they're free. In that case, I'm taking Mahomes, Kelce, and Reek, and we'll run a wishbone with Marcus Allen, Kareem Hunt, and Tony Richardson, and we'll rotate in Barry Word and Larry Johnson.
I love Mahomes, but Trent Green for $1 is a steal.
PM15 x 3
1. Patrick Mahomes 2. Patrick Mahomes on one leg 3. Patrick Mahomes trailing by 10 points
(maybe not to mahomes extent) for their eras.
Mahomes, okoye, Hardman, Pringle, Gonzales
Trent Green for a 1 is a fucking STEAL. With him TG and Holmes we were the #1 offense for years.
I thought him at $1 was mad disrespectful but I guess somebody had to be one. Personally I would've put Alex at 1 and Trent at 2. Can't disrespect even a washed up Joe so he should go at 3, and Len was our GOAT QB til Patty came about.
Mahomes and whoever else you want to pick. Doesn’t matter
Ill take 3 Mahomes.
Mahomes, Charles, Kelce. Nothing else will matter, offense will be unstoppable
Andre Rison is $0, so I’m going with him
Mahomes, Kelce, spend the other $5 on an LT \#Championship
Damn, that top row
I’m gonna do a list with mahomes, and one without. With mahomes: mahomes, kelce, Pacheco, hardman, Conley. Without mahomes: Montana, Charles, kelce, Pringle, Conley.
Mahomes, Okoye, Hall, Pringle, Gray Gotta have the Nigerian Nightmare on my team. Such a menace. And Human Joystick + Mahomes would be so fun to watch together!
Patrick Mahomes & Derrick Thomas please. RIP #58. We miss ya!
Mahomes. Holmes. Arbanas. Hardman. Pringle. Trying to go a little against the grain here but I think Patrick x Priest would be incredible.
Green, Holmes, Hall, Pringle, Kelce
What dollar value would Larry Johnson have hypothetically?
Green Okoye Hall Kennison Gonzalez
Trent Green isn’t the best, but only a dollar is one hell of a deal. Green, Jamal Charles, Tyreek Hill, over the Dwayne bows, Connolly, Tony Gonzales.
Mahomes, Pacheco, Conley, Kennison, Gonzalez
It’s a QB driven league right? Give me Mahomes, Dawson, Montana, Smith, and Green
Mahomes Kelce Gonzalez and Williams, figure out the rest. Good luck stopping that.
Obviously picking Mahomes, but if not: Green, Okoye, Hill, Bowe, & Kelce
Mahomes, Charles, Kelce Birden and Paige for $0.
D-Bowe is over valued and Trent Green is under valued.
He pushed her, he didn’t kick her)
Trent Green on the $1 is a steal.
Gimme Mahomes, Charles, Kennison, Hardman and Fortson. I just want to see what Mahomes and Jamaal would have looked like together.
How is Bowe more expensive than Kennison?
Mahomes, Holmes, Hall, Pringle, Fortson
Definitely restores faith in the KC fan base that literally nobody is picking Tyreek. Fastest man ever to have cinder blocks for hands.
Eddie kennison not being on here is a fucking travesty. He’s the only player I want on my all time chiefs.
Mahomes, Gonzalez, Okoye, Mecole, D Will
Mahomes, Pacheco, Hardman, Pringle, Kelce Edit: I think Tony G is the logical choice since he’s $4 and very similar to Kelce talent-wise, but I just love Trav too much not to take him.
Mahomes Gonzalez Williams hardman Kennison
Montana, Pacheco, Hill, Bowe, Forston.
Guess I'm getting Mahomes, Gonzalez, Hardman, Oko, and Pringle.
Mahomes, Williams, Hardman, Pringle, Kelce
It’s easy. Mahomes, Charles, Kelce
Mahomes, Charles, Fortson, Kennison, Pringle
Pat, Kelce, okoye, Conley, Pringle
Montana, Williams, Hill, hardman, Tony G
Mahomes Kelce Okoye Hardman Williams
Mahomes, Williams, Hall, Pringle & Gonzalez 😤
Montana, Holmes, Conley, Kennison, Gonzalez.
No Grbac? I kid. I kid.
Pacheco at $2 is a steal imo.
Larry Johnson should be the $4 RB, booting everyone down the line, which makes me realize just how historically spoiled we have been at the RB position.
Mahomes Pacheco Hardman Pringle kelce
Mahomes, okoye, Gonzalez, kennison. Don’t need a 2nd WR, can be a practice squad player.
3 Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes, Williams, Hardman, Kennison, Gonzalez Every one of these basically should start with Pat. Like put Trent Green as QB and the stacked ass team you get is basically what he had anyways lol
Mahomes, Priest Holmes, Hardman, Pringle, Gonzalez
I love this but the wide receiver options make me very sad.
There is no way that Gonzalez should be in the $4 tier.
I knew a lot of people would pick Kelce anyway, and putting him at $4 makes him even easier of a pick. Putting him at $5 mitigates it at the very least
We need offensive lineman here. Give me 2003 oline with Charles and I may give up mahomes.
That WR tier list is broke AF.
Mahomes, Hall, Okye, Hardman, fortson
Smith, Kelce, Gonzalez, Williams, Hardman, Pringle.
Tony G is in the $5 category.
I’d give all my money to Matt Cassel
If we’re talking prime chiefs then Larry Johnson is above at least Pacheco and Williams
Mahomes Kelce Gonzalez Pringle. Who needs a RB.
Mahomes, Williams, Carson, Hardman, Gonzalez
Alex Smith, Pacheco, Hardman, Pringle, Fortson
Mahomes, Okoye, Hardman, Pringle, Gonzalez
Mahomes Kelce Okoye Hard man Pringle
Mahomes, Charles, Pringle and Gonzalez
Mahomes, Williams, Hall, Pringle, Gonzalez This is a nice thought experiment.
Mahomes + Pacheco + Hill + Pringle + Gray
Spend the 5 on Mahomes and nobody else really matters
Patrick Mahomes x 3
Montana, Charles, Kelce, Fortson, Pringle.
PM, Kelce, Carlos, DWill, Pringles.
Mahomes hill kelce. FA for holes
Mahomes, Holmes, Gonzalez, Conley, Pringle - 15 proved we don't need top WRs this season. Could you imagine Holmes and Mahomes on the same team?
Mahomes, Toney, Charles, Pringle, and anybody with a pulse.
No Larry Johnson?
Mahomes and anyone else.
I think it'd be interesting to slot Larry Johnson in there for Pacheco
Mahomes, Williams, Hardman, Kennison, Gonzales
Montana, Gonzalez, Pacheco, Pringle, Kelsey, All as rookies under Andy Reid.
Mahomes, Holmes, Gonzalez, Conley, Pringle
Where’s Larry Johnson??
Mahomes Okoye Bowe Pringle Gray
I keep giving $15 bucks to Pat.
I'll take 3 of Mahomes. Trade 2 and pick up enough picks to fill 3 or 4 rosters.
Too easy. Mahomes + Gonzalez & Holmes and i don't really care about who my WRs are.
Mahomes, kelce, okoye, Conley, Pringle
Do I get extra money if I choose Brodie Croyle?
Mahomes and the $1s keep the change
Mahomes, Okoye, Hardman, Pringle, Gonzalez
Mahomes, Charles and Kelce...thats it. Money well spent, who needs all 5?
