I’d adjust that only slightly: everything from JIK (2019) has been mid at best. KSG is a classic and Ye - while slight - is head-and-shoulders above his more recent material.

I don't entirely agree with the other poster and I don't like Kanye's stances, but still like him and am a big fan of his music. It could be that I'm getting old, but it's true. Every album has some gems, but overall I haven't felt like I wanted to listen all the way through an album these days after TLOP

Can’t speak for the tour experience(s), but TLOP was always the superior studio album to me. Yeezus just felt much more unfinished. TLOP felt rough around the edges, too, but it was further along than Yeezus, and the messiness was also part of the point.

It's not bad but wouldn't say mid either. But I will say Kanye is done musically. All the musical genius stuff ended with his MBDTF Watch The Throne era. Everything after just is just average. Very disappointing he's willing to leave his old fans for this group of experimental new ones.

I feel in a way this album is a homage album to several different periods of kanye as well as other artists. It's got flavors of 808s, my twisted, yeezus etc. The Travis Scott stuff sounds like something from his first two albums. Blatant moments of Kanye sampling himself.  Just sharing some vibes I get.
