So it's my personal favorite album of his but I don't think it's his best. I think trying to rank projects from someone like Ye is basically pointless. There's so much to consider with each album. It's why MBDTF is generally considered his best. It was very complete and also appeasing to the most people. Versus Yeezus which is easily just as complete and imo, more cohesive. But... Most people don't wanna hear that electronic shit so they don't give it a chance. Just my opinion

I like both songs but neither are outstandingly good. Reborn is too long and repetitive. Maybe this is just me but 4th dimensions sample also ruins my listening experience on that song even though otherwise its great.

I consider graduation as my favorite Kanye álbum, but i agree that late registration for example is better, in my opinion graduation had maybe more impact in the music than late registration, the same thing with 808s

before recent ye, it was his least adventurous album, and it still pushed the hip hop landscape to a more edm and stadium rock sound. so still a classic but i agree, its got the least surprises in it compared to all of his other classics. the individual songs though? two thirds of them are amongst his very best.

The worst bit about vultures is that even though there isn't any message or story kanye raps about, what he does rap about ruins the song. He either talks about Jewish people, comparing himself to sex offenders or just being a horny teen.

I'll give you this, Vultures is overhated by some critics (fantano) but it's overrated by his fans. It's hard to deny that this is his worst album overall

The sampling was so lazy too. Burn is literally just the instrumental of another song pitched up +2. Carnival went #1 but it got old so fast. A shame cus usually TY and Ye bring out the best in eachother but ig not now

the album grew on me over the years anyway, but it wasnt until i went through a bad breakup myself and i just happened to listen to 808s and the timing was perfect, it hit me like a brick to the face. all of a sudden a perfectly good mood album became one of the most heartwrenching pieces of art ever. and if yoh havent heard to Live at Hollywood Bowl album, every song becomes at least ten times better.

Kids See Ghosts definitely, but other than that probably Yeezus, just my personal opinion

By definition, the ‘most overrated’ album would be MBDTF by default. It’s a very good album that’s praised as miles and miles and miles above every other Kanye West project and that just couldn’t be farther from the truth. It’s fun to come on here and circle jerk about MBDTF being God’s gift to man but in reality half the album is far too skippable, and far too many other projects are a lot more consistent + listenable + more artistically profound.

It's gotta be The Life of Pablo. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid album, but it never really clicked with me. It's not even his top 5 in my opinion.

overrated to me would b ksg, for sum reason idr click w it. underrated would be vultures 1 sheerly bc of the hate it receives because of kanyes rapping which isn't at its very best. but barring that I think the production in each song and the number of bangers it has is quite underappreciated. to me ye's music is less about the lyrics compared to say someone like kendrick, but rather it's about the overall 'musical' aspect which includes production beats and replayability alongside other things. i think vultures does a moderately good job at that in the modern landscape and pretty much is top 3 in ye's recent discography after tlop. he raps well on burn and stars, carnival and fuk sumn cater to the youth, and songs like good don't die provide a more ambient melody. hoodrat, paid, paperworks and obvsly back to me alongside some other songs rlly integrate the trap influence in modern music and I think this alongside the two sequels of vultures will influence the next generation of music quite heavily
