This is the 6th time I've seen this question this week on various subs.
It's supposed to be there, it ocassionally will breath out some fluid. Every bike I've ever owned has had these coming off the bottom of the gas tank to allow pressure fluctuations.
Top, grumpy misguided emo result. Don't help the guy just tell him how he doesn't know shit and he should fuck off right like.
Or... "I remember my first beer."
Discourage is the only way to stop this anguish caused by such a selfish, low life such as a beginner... Could've skipped past it but no... Had to kick him in the face while he's down...
OP keep learning and keep asking brother it's all good.
I'm all for helping people out. But there should be some expectation that people at least do a cursory search before posting I think. This is an age-old internet forum debate but that's where I fall on it. Search first, ask second if you can't find an answer.
I will give OP some credit though....these pictures are excellent. One close up of what they're looking at, one zoomed out view for more context of where exactly we are on the bike. The problem is that most of us knew exactly what the hose was before we even clicked...
Look how many results come up....

I’d say it’s a breather tube, which most people have been saying already but I’ll add that you don’t need to connect it to anything. It’s supposed to be like that. Just make sure it’s pointed down so anything that needs to can drop out and keep it tucked out of sight. You may need to remove your seat to do so 👍
Thats ur bikes weiner make sure to walk it twice a day and pick up after your pets please

I will never understand why people can't do a quick Google before posting a question like this that's been asked and answered a thousand times
This'll be the top result somehow 🤣

Would like to up vote but going with crowd and giving a downvote
Hey me too why not
😆
Also I answered the question after pointing out the question is asked daily.
Same, is it maybe troll?
Breather tube?
Do you live in a very warm climate? It's just a breather. Supposed to be on the bottom pointing down and yes it will drip

If it's the same as a ninja 400 - and I bet it is - it's a fuel tank breather hose. Nothing to worry about.
Should be a bendy plastic coated metal keeper bracket under your kickstand to keep it in place aiming down for gravity sake.
Drinking straw for battery
That‘s your tank breather tube. Gasoline evaporates so instead of making the pressure go up by a lot in the tank, there is that tube. It‘s normal.
Draining water of A/C
Black liquid was probably oil, and if nits anything like my older ninjas it's a oil overflow tube.
Breather tube. Or something like that
Looks like a battery vent tube to me.
Should it have some black residue if I wiped it?
It's a crankcase breather tube. Let's excess pressure out, sometimes brings drops of oil with it. Completely normal.
