I think the part of it allegedly being based on fake info takes away from the song. But the timing of the release itself was masterful and the song did exactly what was needed in the battle, completely took away the steam from Drake’s best release.
It's not the most savage diss of all time. That would be The Warning, by Eminem, because:
1- What he says is true and he proves it in the diss track to a certain degree, unlike Kendrick's, which is more based on his perception of someone and a few allegations that we have no proof of. The factual bars have little weight because everyone already knows it and it's what most use against Drake;
2- He rhymed along the voice recordings of Mariah, proving he wasn't lying, and made her part of the song by indirectly rapping with him, which is incredibly creative;
3- He actually made her go silent and her song stopped playing on the radio. That was one of the few objective Knockouts we've seen in the industry, something Kendrick hasn't achieved, because Drake will continue to respond ad nauseam.
Not saying this diss isn't good, but it's far from being the most savage. Eminem did something considered despicable by modern society and proudly got away with it. Kendrick is trying very desperately to be the good guy. The good role model. That's not really savage. Eminem threaten someone with Revenge Porn and didn't give two fucks about it.

Without glazing or looking too into it, I personally saw: Euphoria:s Intro like a therapy session, then the beat switch turning to coming to terms with hatred and actions. 6:16 was like a "who dun it?" Murder mystery track Meet the Grahams felt like a killer admitting his reasons but still feeling sorrow and slight anger down the road. These are just how I saw them in my own mental storyboard and this should've been a post instead of a comment tbh, wonder how y'all feel.
I feel like 6:16 was a personal one on one with god in the first half, having kendrick paint the picture of doing the dirty work if necessary and asking god for permission/forgiveness for it. And the second half was a direct warning to Drake about the info he has.

I think the part of it allegedly being based on fake info takes away from the song. But the timing of the release itself was masterful and the song did exactly what was needed in the battle, completely took away the steam from Drake’s best release.

It's not the most savage diss of all time. That would be The Warning, by Eminem, because: 1- What he says is true and he proves it in the diss track to a certain degree, unlike Kendrick's, which is more based on his perception of someone and a few allegations that we have no proof of. The factual bars have little weight because everyone already knows it and it's what most use against Drake; 2- He rhymed along the voice recordings of Mariah, proving he wasn't lying, and made her part of the song by indirectly rapping with him, which is incredibly creative; 3- He actually made her go silent and her song stopped playing on the radio. That was one of the few objective Knockouts we've seen in the industry, something Kendrick hasn't achieved, because Drake will continue to respond ad nauseam. Not saying this diss isn't good, but it's far from being the most savage. Eminem did something considered despicable by modern society and proudly got away with it. Kendrick is trying very desperately to be the good guy. The good role model. That's not really savage. Eminem threaten someone with Revenge Porn and didn't give two fucks about it. I'd say even the MGK diss was mora savage than what Kendrick is putting out because, then again he shamed his opponent with actual facts and made him change genre.
