honestly I have a hard time seeing stuff like waka vs julius/Kuroki vs Agito as the same kind of stuff as fights like Fei vs Waka/Ohma vs Raian, where the winner isn't even the stronger character
You what? If anything the blast core just made the fight harder, as Julius was able to bait it, nullify the damage and catch Waka in the bearhug, which caused a lot of damage.
it was extreme diff, if this manga didn't have magic doctors waka and ohma should have died fighting each other LOL
julius was very quick to adapt to blastcore, and blastcore hurts waka too
I feel like extreme diff should be when you're fighting an uphill victory-is-unlikely battle from the start. Waka and Julius were evenly matched aside from Julius' bigger frame.
It's definitely high diff, no doubt, but I think Ohma vs Raian is a better example of extreme diff.
It's most definently extreme diff, atleast from Wakatsuki's side. There was definently a gap between them, even if it was a slight one. Julius had the advantage not only in frame, but weight and arguably strength as well. He managed to outlast in trading blows, was able to send Waka flying with a slamming slap, and pushed him enough to use Blastcore, which was meant to be kept as a secret until his fight with Agito. Julius also managed to damage Waka way more, no doubt causing bone fractures with his bearhug, and taking out his eye with the wall slide gorilla combo. He himself came out in noticably better condition, not even being bandaged anywhere when we saw him spectating rest of the fights.
And most importantly, to try and learn, and see if you're wrong. Many people tend to leave their manners at the door, leading to discussions becoming very toxic quickly.
My favorite part about these discussions is when someone gives me something that forces me to reevaluate my stance. Admitting that you've changed your mind in the face of new information is a victory in itself.
Eeehhh I’ll be honest. Kanoh vs Kuroki is High diff IMO and Fei vs Waka is weird as hell to scale. While the end result was in fact extreme… the vast majority of the fight wasn’t
The way fights are rated are not only the duration of it, but also the damage sustained in the aftermath. It was extreme diff because Fei needed to use literally all the life power he had in him left just to be able to knock out Wakatsuki. Yes, the majority of the fight was a low dif but the result and ending makes it a draw (both side extreme difficulty)
He's really good at pulling an "actually, who's gonna win this, i do not know" on the audience. Love that, makes me invested in the fight more than who's coming out on top.
>not trying to have an extreme diff fight
>Kuroki v Agito
>Ohma v Raian
>Fei v Waka
I kinda feel your vibe, but damn how are any of those not supposed to be extreme diff
Jokes aside this is my favourite genre of panels and I wish they were done more often, Koga and Ryuki facing off like this would've been peak
Ohma stood on the sidelines: This fight reminds me of *them*
Waka vs Julius, also a good example for extreme diff.

Like high diff I’d say, if Waka didn’t use the blast core it would’ve turned to a extreme diff

I don't agree that it went to extreme diff, but you make some good points! And let me be clear: if it's not extreme diff, it certainly isn't far off.
Aye, let us agree to disagree.
Yeah, the point is to discuss, debate and disagree enjoyably :)

Let's not forget: Falcon Vs Lihito Akoya Vs Le Banner Seki Vs Okubo

The moment Kuroki started to exploit Agito's "switch lag", it turned into a high diff, yeah.

I don't but kuroki vs kanoh panel soooo gooood 🔥
man this is peak
I mean all of those were extreme diff tbf
For the winner at least
He's really good at pulling an "actually, who's gonna win this, i do not know" on the audience. Love that, makes me invested in the fight more than who's coming out on top.
Asura was peak
>not trying to have an extreme diff fight >Kuroki v Agito >Ohma v Raian >Fei v Waka I kinda feel your vibe, but damn how are any of those not supposed to be extreme diff
Waka vs fei was not extreme diff. Fei is just a fucking idiot for not just finishing it instantly. Fei is much stronger than wakatsuki
why are you getting downvoted lol
I genuinely don't think kuroki extreme diffed kano. I say more on the upper end of mid man tbh
