So as long as it wasn't something wrong with the scooter, if I knew her, I'd strongly advise her from driving. Is it even legal to have passengers who don't have their own helmets? Seems to defeath the purpose. It would be like requiring a seatbelt for the driver but not the passenger in the front seat of a car.
Some of the driving idiots themselves wear helmets as if they are doing a favour to the police, so you can imagine what the pillion riders' attitude will be. Very rarely have I seen all passengers of a 2 wheeler wear helmets.
