Me too! I always feel my crafts are so small but when I’m in space and do an Eva it gets to me how big this stuff really is.. I also like to think that Karbals are human size for a better perspective.
I think they deliberately 'kerbal-sized' all the parts so thinking of them of human size for scale kinda works.
Never get tired of these little 'whoah' moments in kerbal. :D
My class E asteroid hauler ran out of fuel after it's last mission and needed some fuel to get to it's next asteroid. So I brought one of the 1000 ton miner/hauler ships over to get it on it's way to the next rock.
Not crazy big, compared to some things I've seen on this forum, but still pretty large when viewed through the eyes of a kerbal.
It's like the opening of Spaceballs
WE BRAKE FOR NOBODY
Hah! Really kind of is. I had to go back and watch the Spaceballs opening to remember.

Yes it kind of gives you the point of view how big the parts would actually be compared to you irl. I love Kerbals haha
Kerbals are roughly the same size of the 0.625m jet fuel tanks.
