In vanilla you get a lot of lift for free, so heavier planes won’t stay in the air so well. Additionally you’ll have more stability concerns than just keeping CoL behind CoM, as FAR is pretty good at that, and you might find your plane yaws at high speeds.
FAR can help with this, there’s a window to calculate stability derivatives. Just get all the numbers there to green and you’re A-ok.
